It went well. Their product is excellent quality (though not inexpensive), and customer service was good. In fact, I can relate a customer-service story. This was a large shipment (I think it was 3 large cartons) for a canopy to cover a 12x24’ area. I think Shade Tree’s quality control and packing were fine, but there was damage to one carton that I’m sure was the shipping company’s fault. The tracks for this canopy are heavy gauge aluminum, and pretty tough, but one of the cartons really took a whack on one end, and one of the track pieces was damaged. (I filled out the report at the shipping company’s location where I picked it up. They even dumped the boxes off of a fork-lift right in front of me, so I wasn’t impressed with that shipper.) I tried to bend it out but couldn’t without it breaking. Called Shade Tree about this, and they sent out a replacement without any hassle (a 12 foot long track). We’ve now been enjoying the canopy for a year and a half, and we love it. It has made an outdoor “room” of the patio. They are not cheap, but you get what you pay for, and this is quality merchandise.
