Recent Review: We couldn't have asked for a more professional crew to do the work on our geothermal heating/cooling system. Everyone was prompt, friendly, courteous and did the job when they said they would and finished on time. They cleaned up the area well. They were very helpful in helping us decide among the choices as to what we could do. When a part turned out to be defective on Friday, they had a new one there on Monday, and made sure we had a way to stay warm over the weekend.

AIR PERFECT INC
Recent Review: They were very professional with the installation. They spent a lot of time with me. The guy who runs the company is quite into design elements and designed it to maximize the efficiency of the air movement. I am getting my bills right now. I removed all the oil heating and I am paying no more for the electricity. I am saving about $2500 to $3000 a year in my bills. They will get the rebates done, but they are very slow. You have to follow up to get it done. They are not quite so responsive once the work is done. The system is working fine, but it is a bit louder than the oil system. The air conditioning was absolutely silent. I am trying to make them come back and look at it, but they are not particularly responsive. They were the cheapest.

Recent Review: It is hard to find a company that can install geothermal air conditioning units as there are only a few companies that even deal with that. I guess you have to have special skills. I was impressed that the duct work was commercial grade and all of their work was top notch.

A & B Cooling & Heating Corp
Recent Review: This was a massive project and investment for me, so i thoroughly vetted several vendors before choosing A&B. I chose A&B because i was very impressed with their responsiveness and professionalism  throughout the quoting process. Surprisingly, they also had the lowest price as well. Another thing i liked a lot about A&B is that their core business is geothermal - even their office is heated and cooled by geothermal. The first piece of this big puzzle was to remove my old oil-boiler. A&B arranged to install the new (hybrid electric) water heater first so we would still have hot water throughout the demolition and subsequent installation work. Their plumbing guys were great, and really made it easy for me to work around the temporary installation while pulling out the old baseboard heater water pipes. I worked closely with the owner (Guy) and foreman (Phil) when planning for the placement of the new ducting. At first, I was concerned that the new ductwork would interfere with head space in the basement or that the runs to the second floor would be unsightly or inconvenient...but thanks to their expert planning and execution, the end result was everything i could have hoped for: a very satisfying basement and ALL of the 2nd floor supply/return ducting was kept inside my newly vacated chimney chase. They also did a great job with supply and return grill placement, including several that were inconvenient to install, but just slightly nicer for me, which i really appreciated. I took a few days off of work during the main installation days to see how this would all come together, and was impressed to see how thorough they were with sealing the joints (butyl tape). All of the basement and attic ducting was also very thoroughly insulated. A&B subcontracted the ground loop (trench and well drilling) to a company they work with frequently called Sima Drilling. They did great work as well. The finished system is both beautiful and amazingly efficient. Now my house is always the perfect temperature (geo provides heating and cooling!), and I'm saving money hand over fist EVERY MONTH. A&B is a great company to work with, and Guy was very easy to get a hold of, which i really appreciated. Take home message: A&B is a fantastic geothermal provider, and i would recommend them to anyone. If i could turn back the clocks, i would pick A&B in a heartbeat.

Mike came in with his crew and did a fantastic job.  We have no complaints.  The geothermal system is up and running very smoothley.  We are sure if any more problems come up, we can depend on them for their fast and great service.

We lost heat with our geothermal system on a Thursday.  We called Nutmeg Mechanical Services and talked to Steve. He listened to our problems and sent out two service Technicians the next day.  We were very happy with their service and would recomend this company to everyone.  They will be coming back to do more work and we know they will complete the job to our satisfaction.   We would not hesitate to call them again in the future if needed.. Thanks Steve.

The estimate was provided by Dave, who was very knowledgeable in geo, and who had worked through several conversions already. As finding someone with experience was very difficult in this area, we were most impressed by his thoughtful approach. He borrowed our blueprints, measured all the rooms, reviewed our systems, and then put together a comprehensive plan for the conversion, explaining all the various options along the way. Then he brought over the owner for a final meeting to put the whole plan together and answer any questions we might have. When they showed up to begin work, they put plastic film on all the carpet pathways and wore over booties to protect our floors. This despite our two dogs tracking in mud everywhere. They showed exceptional respect for our needs and provided professional expertise in every way. Changes in the plan were handled promptly and fairly.  The conversion went exceptionally well. there were no snags at all. Wells were dug on time, tests were planned, done and inspected by the town and the work progressed quickly.  For the first time in many a project, there were no surprises. No padding of the bills and no shoddy work. I love going to the basement and attic just to look at the beautiful job and the heat and a/c are working beautifully. The solar hot water is proving to be very efficient.  Really love the job they did and will use them again for any upcoming projects we may conceive.
