Recent Review: We hired Courtney of CJ Seavall Design to help with a kitchen remodel and unfortunately had a bad experience. She helped design the layout of our kitchen and we continued to pay her to recommend, order and find a contractor for the painting and installation of the cabinetry. After recommending Stone International, she ordered a white laminate cabinet which she said could be painted navy blue. She then scheduled and paid for Trinity Home Solutions to handle the paint and install. Against our request, the contractor sprayed the cabinets on site which left us with over-spray paint on walls and ceilings. Those walls and ceilings now need to be repainted. We contacted Courtney about our concerns, but they were disregarded. Once the contractor began setting the cabinets, we did a level test. From one corner to the next, there was over a 1/2 difference. There wasn't a single cabinet installed that was level. Again, we contacted Courtney about this concern, which was disregarded. When the contractor said he was finished with the install, we communicated our dissatisfaction to CJ Seavall Design with regard to the paint, install, hardware install and overall lack of attention to detail. She scheduled an on-site meeting with the installer and herself in which we discussed how to remedy the poor craftsmanship. A few days after she sent an email stating that she would work with us and Luis of Trinity Home Solutions to fix the list of issues. A few days after that, we receieved another letter from Courtney saying that she was no longer involved in the project and we would have to work with Trinity. I would not recommend CJ Seavall Design for a project after having this experience. We paid her a considerable amount of money to help advise and manage our remodel, but left us empty handed.

Recent Review: It went better than we could have reasonably hoped and expected. Kevin and Manny were extremely professional, punctual, and creative. They provided excellent communication throughout the process and we were comfortable having them in our home (in fact, we miss them). Many other contractors and local professionals have been very impressed with the finished product and we will enjoy this very unique story behind our kitchen remodel for a very long time. I highly recommend Kevin & Manny for any project.

Recent Review: They are just great for anything. I take care of two high end homes. I call them to do anything from small repairs to kitchen remodeling, window installation, and repairing custom made woodwork. We are always pleased with them.  The workers are extremely nice. They are really, great, problem solvers. Sometimes there is a situation that seems like a huge issue, and we can usually just resolve it with an intelligent solution.

Recent Review: I found Back Bowls Construction on Angie's List with a great review. My experience has been the same. I had at least 4 contractors providing me with quotes and Back Bowl's seemed to be the most reliable and affordable. They did a very good job, especially on the wood work. Their crew is ready for any request. Our project took three months to be completed and I recall once or twice I called Dave and he could not answer the phone. He's always responsive, updating us on the project and attempted to any change of course. Definitively recommend Back Bowls and would hire them again.

They do a great job; their prices are very reasonable; they are timely, responsive and reliable. We have used Breckremodeling for almost 10 years and have never been disappointed.

Recent Review: The first thing  I can say is that Jerry Large is a man of integrity and a craftsman with an eye for detail and perfection.  He did an excellent job of tiling the kitchen with a clean grout job. He built a caddy corner pantry in the kitchen with shelves and and a new door.  It turned out to be an excellent use of space.  The painting done was a very good job in my estimate (I'm in the trades too and I can tell a good or poor job) and the kitchen remodel probably in itself added 15,000 dollars to overall value of the house.  The four downstairs bedrooms were drywalled, textured and painted which gave them a brand new look. He also painted and installed new doors for each bedroom. Finally the downstairs family room and storage room were overhauled with new drywall, texture and paint.      It seemed that Jerry Large was very productive on the job. Each day you could see a great amount of progress being made and he finished the job in a timely manner and at a very fair price. I highly recommend him for and type of construction. He seemed very knowledgable and well rounded. He was also very courteous and we had good conversation.

It was the WORST experience I have had. The owner Robert Bacon is a bully, never, and I mean never does he do what he says he is going to do. In the end, we went to arbitration and even though he cashed my deposit check and had a signed version of the contract he never returned it with his signature led the arbitrator to say we never had a contract. Do not hire him - after this, all started we found out he had redone his company in a new name because of the same issues that plagued us, lack of follow through, bad and non-existent project management, and did not finish the job. Started in July of 2016 - project finally finished in April of 2017 by another contractor. Any company with Robert Bacon at the helm is doomed to fail from a customer service standpoint.

FStone International & Colorado Cabinets
I’m not a fan of spending my personal time writing reviews, but our recent experience during a kitchen remodel has left me no choice but to state the facts of the poor experience we recently had with Stone International. In late 2017, we contracted a designer to help with our kitchen cabinets. After approving the design, she took it to Stone International to finalize and order. Stone International suggested to CJ Seavall Design that she order a particular white finish of cabinet that could then be painted a navy blue. To our understanding, they also suggested to CJ Seavall Design, a contractor who specialized in installing and painting cabinets. After paying CJ Seavall Design for the project, she ordered the cabinets and paid Trinity Home Solutions to handle the painting and installation of the cabinets. Against our request, the cabinets were painted on-site, in our freshly painted dining room, resulting in several large overspray on our walls and ceiling. The installer than began to set cabinets with no regard to leveling. After contacting the designer about our concern with un-level cabinets, no fix was provided. There is currently a ½ difference between one corner of our cabinets to the next. Our countertop installer has informed us that a ½ difference is too much to be shimmed when installing countertops. The largest issue is the lack of professional knowledge when came to painting the cabinets. The method used by Stone International’s recommended installer proved to be an utter disaster. None of the paint is adhering to the cabinets. It peels off by simply rubbing the cabinet. In reaching out to Stone International about the manufacture specs of the cabinets, none of our requests for information have been fulfilled. We are told that someone else will have to call us back, but we have yet to receive a call with the information. In talking with two other painters, this type of surface should not be painted. There are countless other issues with the cabinets. Unlevel hardware. Rubbing doors. Mis-aligned crown molding. Poor plumbing cutouts putting stress on water supply lines. The unfortunate part of this entire experience is CJ Seavall Design, Stone International or Luis at Trinity Home Solutions lack of attention to detail. I would not recommend trusting these people to assist with a kitchen remodel.

ACabin Works Corp
Phil and team did an overall great job and we love our new place. Phil and Craig would both call with any needed questions and email and send pictures electronically of their progress-- Not only pictures of the finished project, but of the insulation, demo, etc. They stayed on budget,---no surprises and also finished the work on time--even when the granite delivery was delayed by over 1 week. When we would come onsite, they were always available to meet with us at a time when we were available. I gave them the freedom to use some creativity, and the overall project met and exceed all of our expectations. The cleanup was also handled very well, and they were able to hang curtains and blinds for me as well . I have attached some before and after pictures of their great work and our new place. As our budget becomes available, we will also be utilizing them for our bathroom remodels or any other jobs. One important factor---Spectrum Home Services can be trusted completely with keys and have a high integrity business. I would highly recommend them to others for this type of remodel.
