Recent Review: We have contracted The Drywaller twice and will work with them in the future for other home projects. Very reliable, professional, timely and conscientious team. We would recommend The Drywaller highly and appreciate their hard work as well as specialized talent!
Recent Review: Everything went perfectly. Chris Lawrence single-handedly finished the entire job in one loooong day. This basically on the spur of the moment b/c our drywall contractor flaked out over the prior weekend.
Recent Review: Some of the drywall in our kitchen needed repairs. Greg was good with returning calls and setting up an appointment. He called back consistently and within hours. He gave us an estimate that was exactly what we ended up paying. He was able to fit us into his schedule within a week. Greg was able to entirely refinish the bad sections and made the drywall look new. He took the time to come back later that day to apply another coat to the repaired sections. When we later repainted over the repaired drywall, the paint adhered well. We were totally satisfied with the service and the craftsmanship.
Recent Review: I had a few inspection items that needed to be completed before closing on a property. I was in a time crunch because the initial contractor I hired was ... well, my mother said if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. I got Bill's info from Angie's list, called, and he was out the next day. He quoted me his exact price. Mark got to the house, did the drywall repair in 30 minutes, and then came back a couple days later to take care of the gutter work. What I appreciated was the fact that Bill actually called to keep me informed when they would be out to the property. As a realtor, deadlines are critical. Bill's Home Repair will be at the top of my list.
Recent Review: The Paint Doctors did an excellent job on our project. We love our new remodeled rooms. We highly recommend The Paint Doctors. The project took approximately two weeks and was not much of an inconvenience for us while the work was being done.

We got an Angie's list coupon for $99 (normally 180) for 3 hours of drywall repair. We made an appointment on the 17th. I tried calling him several times on the 16th to try to postpone our time, but his phone was off or out of order (hence the B on responsiveness). Anyway, he came on the 17th and I showed him the holes - one 6x20" in the kitchen, one 8x96" in the dining room, one 12x30" in a closet and one 8x6" in a bathroom. He told me that he thought that was too much for 3 hours, but we decided to see how it went. He worked solidly and professionally. At one point, he told me that one small hole would be cheaper if we just got a patch from Home Depot rather than cutting it out, so we did. After three hours, he was not done, and we conferred. He estimated it would take an extra 2.5 hours. He had brought a sheet of dry wall and some other supplies that were not covered for $23 and he said that for $150 total more, he would finish what he could do that day (you can't paint until the texturing dries). I agreed. He finished up the drywall repair, the mudding, and the texturing, doing extra mudding on his own in the closet where it had been done poorly, and finished up as he estimated, in 2.5 hours. Though I gave him a A on price, my feeling is more of a A-. He gave us the deal and then a $10 per hour discount on his hourly rate for the rest of the job. He did a very professional job and I recommend his work. He was very pleasant as well. I will use him again in the future if I need services like he provides.

I recently bought a bank-owned house that had several holes in the drywall of the walls and ceiling. I found Jeff on Angie's List and called him up for an estimate. He had to reschedule twice, but eventually gave me a great price on the work - another business had quoted the work for $235, but he did it for $130. He was able to give an estimate and perform the work all in one visit. The patches look great - it is impossible to tell that the areas were ever patched at all!

Called to confirm address, arrived on time. Did a great job! Only issue was he didn't clean up after himself.

After buying a house that had been a rental for many years the walls were in rough shape. There were sections in the ceiling that had to be replaced and spots all over the walls ware there was damage from nails and then mudded over. I was not sure how my husband and I were going to match the texturing for all the sections that needed work. Andrew with HOMEfix did an absolutely amazing job. His attention to detail was spot on. He did a skim coat on a few areas and textured them and it blends in perfectly. There was probably around 50 areas in the house that he retextured. Every time I would find another area that needed work he was very happy to fit it. All he wanted was for our satisfaction with his work. I highly recommend this company and Andrew if you need drywall work. They have been a delight to work with in this process from quote to payment I couldn’t be happier with the finished product.

BEST. DRYWALL. GUY. EVER. Don't call anyone else if you need drywall and/or texture work on your home. Jeff and his assistant showed up exactly when expected, got right to work, expertly prepped the area, patched the hole, and matched the texture. After they left, it was hard to tell that they had been here - great clean-up job. This is the last of many jobs that Jeff has done in my home - I don't even think about calling for other estimates, as he has always been very reasonable. Thank you Jeff!

l cOur home is around 20 years old and had brass hinges (that showed outside the cabinet door) and brass handles. We wanted to put 'European hinges' in instead to hide the hinges since this is more to what's in style today. We also wanted to move to brush nickle handles. Bill used to have his own cabinet shop. In addition we had a small hole and a much larger area that need to have drywall placed in those areas. We had Bill and Pat do the work because we were very pleased with their painting and Bill has done a number of renovations on homes they bought and sold as well as the work their doing at their current home. Bill said he was able to do these and we felt we could trust his work (as shown by the outstanding work they did with the exterior painting of our house). The provided good fair bid for the work to be done. Bill and Pat worked together on the projects. Bill replaced the hinges to 36 cabinets (which required the whole to be cut in the back of the door for each European hinge to be placed in) while Pat replaced the handles to the cabinets and drawers--somewhere in the 60 handles range. They added 'stoppers' on the doors so they would close quietly. In addition Bill repaired the 'rail system' for one of our drawers so it would pull out smoothly. Bill fixed the two holes--the smaller one and much larger one with drywall. In addition there were a few areas where the original drywall taping was a bit rough and a small crank in another drywall area. He repaired all of those areas as well. They sprayed it with 'orange peel' and Pat painted the areas with a couple of coats of paint each and did some feathering of the paint so it would not stand out from the rest of the painted rooms. The work done was amazing. We could not see the taped or caulked areas. It was as if those spots just disappeared and never existed--we were very, very pleased. Bill is quite the handy man and Pat complements the work he does. We are looking to use them to do some additional projects around our house over the next couple of months. We can not speak highly enough for their work, for their suggestions and for their advice.

I called Jeff to fix eight or nine small areas in an investment property. He was very responsive, personable, and easy to work with. He fixed several areas in house, even a couple places I hadn't previously identified. There was an electrical outlet that the previous owner had sloppily mounted in tape. Jeff's right-hand man was appropriately appalled and fixed it immediately. They worked fast, and it looked a lot better. No big attempt to match texture, but it is a 60-year-old rental house after all.

Excellent. Humidity increased drying time so job took longer than planned. Process of obtaining bid, and completing the job went like clockwork.
