Our 18 year old son needed help getting his room in order, so I contacted several organizers and selected Lisa. She responded to the initial contact immediately and we had a telephone interview to discuss the potential job. She was provided tips so I could interview the others I had contacted - knowing the job may not go to her. I was very thankful for her input! It came down to two professional organizers - Lisa and one other woman - and my son was comfortable with Lisa. Once the decision was made, I had my son work out the specifics (date, time, etc.) directly with Lisa. Lisa charges $75/hour and has a 4 hour minimum. She was on time, professional, pleasant and very easy to work with (that's what my son said!). She took our son's unique needs and concerns into consideration as they worked through the room. She was also very candid with me about what we (my husband and I) needed to do in order to help our son keep the room organized (closet/clothing system, etc.). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lisa and would definitely hire her for future needs.

I have several filing and storage areas in my office. The largest task was cleaning my file cabinet which had over 10 years work of documents. My storage went from three jam-packed drawers to one drawer. We also re-organized and re-purposed a lot of my desk area. In general services like this are hard to complete in the exact time frame allotted. My first session, a two hour session, was purchased through a living social deal. You will most likely have to buy more time. However to get a job done right, it is very much work the extra time. Two hour time slots are very hard to do a thorough job on anything but a very small project. Expect to re-evaluate your goals and objectives and really look at the time frames need for that to be accomplished. In the 6-hour session, we worked the straight six hours clearing and then reorganizing. I see an noticably cleaner area and there is less clutter. I will have to purchase the different storage solutions - a new file cabinet and new folders, but that was an expected expense. I really like the fact that she is certified by the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). She was very friendly and easy to work along side in my organizing sessions.
