Recent Review: Joe here at the time he specified after verifying that the time was convenient for me. He brought all the right tools for the job and made sure that the entire floor was covered with drop cloths - not just the area around the sink. The new sink is larger than the replaced sink and he needed an extra length of pipe. He made sure I was informed why the new pipe was necessary and got approval before going to the hardware store and purchasing the new pipe. When the work was complete, Joe cleaned the new sink and the entire area surrounding the sink. He sent the invoice via email and asked that it be reviewed before payment and to call him with any questions or concerns. EXCELLENT service !!!!! 1st project - new range hood - installed all new duct work to vent outside 2nd project - new Barn Lights around kitchen perimeter and pendants over kitchen island p.s. tried to download pictures - would not allow Adobe PDF - sorry

Recent Review: I have used this service provider before in the winter of 2015 and was extremely pleased with the service that Frank had provided. Not only did he arrive on time, but he was pleasant, and very knowledgeable. So, I knew that when I made the decision to make the investment of converting my home from the horrible electric appliances that were in the home when I purchased it, to  gas appliances, I wanted the same service provider from B&B Plumbing to do the conversion. In addition to the previously mentioned reasons, I also wanted the comfort of having gas lines in my home ran safely, which obviously was extremely important to me and my family. The install went very well, and I am pleased with all aspects of the services that were provided to me, and will not hesitate to contact B&B in the future if needed.

AS & S Painting/Remodel
They provided several options in different price ranges to give me what I wanted. Once I chose what I wanted, they worked around my home, which was being lived in, providing me ample opportunity to not have my life uprooted while that work was going on.

DComfort Heating and Plumbing
Called to repair furnace in early spring. Needed a gas valve replaced and he had to order the valve and would let us know when he got the valve. Did not hear anything more from him. Spring turned to summer and no need for the furnace so we sort of forgot about it. In Nov our electric range failed and we got a new duel fuel range and needed a gas line run for the new range. Had a different plumber install the gas line. When he attempted to relight the pilot on the furnace it would not stay lit. The gas line plumber called the first plumber to see if he had the valve and to see if he would come over and install it. He did, took about a half hour. He charged nearly $400 for the valve - highest internet price I found was just under $200. He charged a "health care act adjustment fee" and an "environmental fee". Total bill was nearly $600 for roughly a half hour. The plumber that did the gas line was here most of the day and charged under $450 and returned the following day to be sure all was well. This plumber was Jim Greenfield.

APBS Heating & Air
It went very well, as always, with Gordon. We called him and explained we wanted the unit upgraded ASAP, because of the heat and smoke here. He was respectful of our costs and time line. Within a week, we had the AC up and running within a week! Gordon always suggests a range of prices on his work. Gordon is ALWAYS available for service.

The service provided was top notch! I had two other estimates ranging from $2300 to $6000 and Alpine Home Solutions came in like a Knight in shining armor.  They did an excellent job of explaining what the issues were and gave a clear and concise estimate.  The finished project is amazing and I am so thankful I found this company!

ABrighton Construction
The first thing  I can say is that Jerry Large is a man of integrity and a craftsman with an eye for detail and perfection.  He did an excellent job of tiling the kitchen with a clean grout job. He built a caddy corner pantry in the kitchen with shelves and and a new door.  It turned out to be an excellent use of space.  The painting done was a very good job in my estimate (I'm in the trades too and I can tell a good or poor job) and the kitchen remodel probably in itself added 15,000 dollars to overall value of the house.  The four downstairs bedrooms were drywalled, textured and painted which gave them a brand new look. He also painted and installed new doors for each bedroom. Finally the downstairs family room and storage room were overhauled with new drywall, texture and paint.      It seemed that Jerry Large was very productive on the job. Each day you could see a great amount of progress being made and he finished the job in a timely manner and at a very fair price. I highly recommend him for and type of construction. He seemed very knowledgable and well rounded. He was also very courteous and we had good conversation.

FFront Range Stone Inc
Awful. I purchased new granite countertops for my condo at Lowes and they subbed it out to Front Range Stone. Everything was fine until they drilled the faucet hole in the wrong place. They refused to do anything other than come back and drill the hole in the right place, leaving me with an unwanted 1.5 inch hole in my new granite counter top. To make matters worse, I live 90 miles away from my condo, so I have to drive all the way back up there again to let them in. They took no responsibility for their error, and even blamed it on me....said I should have been more specific with the installer. THE FAUCET HOLE GOES WHERE THE FAUCET HOLE IS ON THE SINK!!! PRETTY SIMPLE! Their customer service is awful. They refused to compensate me for my costs and troubles. BTW, I paid over $3000 for this.....you would think they would throw me a few bucks for gas and the cost to plug the darn hole!

DARS / Rescue Rooter Colorado
A company representative phoned us the following day after submitting a request for a consultation. After a few questions an appointment was scheduled for the following Saturday (10/5). In less than 10 minutes the phone rang with the rep asking to change the appointment due to possible weather issues and travel dangers which is completely understandable. A new appointment was scheduled the next week on Wednesday in the early evening (10/9). The day before the appointment a call was received to confirm the appointment. 4 hours before the appointment a call was received to cancel due to scheduling issues and they would not be able to arrive at a reasonable time. We again rescheduled for the next Saturday afternoon (10/12). Once again a confirmation call came the day before. The day of the appointment a rep called to confirm we would be home and said they were going to dispatch a tech to our home. The rep said they would also call if the tech was going to be late. After 30 minutes past the scheduled time, I called the office to see where the person was. They gave me several excuses including the fact that the trucks that are driven are large and heavy with equipment and go slower than a normal vehicle. My thought was that when the truck was "dispatched" they had 2 hours to arrive on time. Normally the trip would take about one and a half hours in a car. The tech finally arrived about one hour late. His "large" truck turned out to be a van that really couldn't hold that much heavy equipment in my opinion. After greeting the tech and inviting him in (I don't recall any apology for his tardiness) we offered a beverage. He turned down the offer saying he was ok since he stopped at the gas station in town to fill up with fuel and pick up some snacks and something to drink before he came to the house. Mind you, he was already late. The consultation went pretty well for the most part. They seemed to have plenty of knowledge and ideas of where vents and returns should be placed, the size of system that would be needed, and where is could be placed. He told us about his equipment and kind of ran down some of the competitors which I personally don't think is appropriate, but that's me. He then wrote down some visual diagrams of the basic layout and said he would give it to the boss to create an estimate which we would receive the following Monday (10/14) via e-mail. After calling the tech a few days later (10/16)  we finally received a written quote on Saturday (10/16) with a total cost that was about $6,000 more than the ballpark figure the tech had mentioned.  There was also no options to choose from. It was more like here is the system cost and that's it.  I then replied to the e-mail asking for another quote with a breakdown of all costs such as equipment, ducting, electrical, etc. so I could see what we would be paying for.. We never heard from them again. We did  have another company lined up for a quote as well and theirs was more or less the same as what the tech had verbally estimated. I can't help but wonder if they just overpriced it so we would go somewhere else due to the fact we do live in rural Colorado and it's not a short trip. If that's the case I would rather they say that then give us a run around. This of course is purely speculation but we've been turned down for that reason before. We did get a new system installed by the second bidder and couldn't  be more pleased. They are a local company and urge you check my review of them.
