Calros  promptly responded to my inquiry.  He came out the next day and returned an estimate to me with 24 hours.  As i was going out of town and I wanted to get the job done before I left, he agreed to do the work on Sunday.  He arrived on time and completed the work in less time than I expected and did a great job!   He is professional and courteous.  I will use his services again.

Drew showed up right on time for estimate and quickly provided a quote. He started the job when he said he would and completed many extras without charging much more than the original bid. The quality was good and the crew straightened up everything when they were done. Drew is very honest, completes things when he says he will and is very responsive. I definitely recommend his company and I will do business with him again when we complete more remodeling of our condo.

AWalz to Walz
Joe was great about returning my phone calls and text messages. He was willing to work with my schedule and even though I went on vacation and didn't get back to him several weeks from when I initially contacted him he was willing to still do the work.  Joe even let my dogs out for me which was a great help and allowed me to remain at work.  The work looks awesome and he did everything he said that he would do. I wouldn't hesitate to have him help me in the future.

AReliable Remodel
When no "out-of-the-box" solution was available, Eric was skilled enough to create custom solutions that solved many problems. He was able to advise me on the relative merits of one approach vs. another. He is patient and really listens well. This is a rare quality among some contractors! He works hard and is entirely reliable. The quality of his work is excellent. He is always willing to go the extra mile to get it right.

APatrick Pitt Carpentry
After seeing Mr. Pitt's fantastic work on high-end homes, we were really hoping he could squeeze in our modest job.  We're so happy he did, because the result is just beautiful.  His attention to detail and expertise solving cosmetic problems that came up were really helpful on this remodel.  He clearly cares about his craft and he's wonderful to work with, to boot.

DRent A Man
Not good......... Be warned: Despite the fact that the Jake, the owner of this company bought it over two years ago from the original owners, he has failed to update the new ownership info on the Rent a Man website. Eric and Joe are no longer the owners, and Jake seems to be riding the coattails of their good names around Durango. We got an estimate from Jake for a small concrete stain job, a set of two small stairs for our deck and door trim. During the job, one of his guys told us they would need to build a small 2-foot by 3-foot step at the base of our side stairs instead of using pavers. We said ok but never heard from Jake about substantial increase in estimate. When we got our final bill, it was $1800 more than his estimate. We were never notified that this new concrete step would cost us almost $2000. He did let us know that he forgot to include 6 hours worth of work in the estimate. Because of his error, he offered to lower the amount to only $1100 more than original estimate. Still ridiculous...... We ended up paying him $800 more than the estimate, which covered the 6 hours he forgot to list in the initial estimate and the work on our outrageously expensive cement step. I'm still not sure how he justified over 40 hours of labor when his estimate was for roughly 20. I found Jake to be incredibly uncommunicative and duplicitous about the upcharge, despite the fact that his website claims that Rent a Man always informs customers of price changes. They don't. I would emphatically recommend that you do not hire this company.

Recent Review: The salesperson was very friendly and helpful. She came to the house and measured everything involved and later provide drawings that illustrated the proposed design. The employees at the showroom were very helpful and helped for an extended amount of time in selecting the cabinet design I wanted. When the cabinets arrived, the installers came out within days and installed the cabinets. They took great care in making sure the measurements were correct so that the new countertops would fit properly. They also went beyond the scope of the job and provided me with some extra trim work that enhanced the quality of the project. All of the cabinet doors were just as described and the correct size.
