Reliable Remodel
Recent Review: This started out as a full remodel for one bathroom and then we decided to add the second bathroom shower. Then we added the fireplace hearth and many misc. other jobs. Eric is wonderful and very detail minded. He was open to all suggestions and when asked gave me great ideas on things to buy etc. He is punctual, shows up when he says he will and communicates well. I felt very comfortable having him in our home during this remodel. He does high quality work and makes sure it's done right. If it's not, he will make sure it is done right. Wonderful personality and actually I'll miss him here and making our home look so great! We will hire Eric again in the future for any other of our remodel or update needs. Eric is worth every penny and then some. We highly recommend and we are so glad we hired him for this remodel. Thank you again, Eric!!! Jeff and Donny Thulson

Recent Review: The project should have been completed by end of August to first week in September. This is now February of 2017 and the project is not completed. Work halted when the small bathroom was not done to plan - the shower was put on the wrong wall and they placed the plumbing for the toilet less than 6 inches from the shower door - you would have had to straddle the toilet to enter the shower. When we brought this to the contractors attention - we were directed to the plumber - he said " the would make it right" when we reviewed the plumbing we found that the joists were cut actually "hacked" away to make room for the toilet drain - and the shower pan was not thinset - and the new walls in the old bathroom were missing studs and the ones that were there were with a span of over 44 inches - could not set wall tile that way - anyway fast forward and we have filed arbitration We have had to find a contractor that has time and can complete this job. I am in the service business and have never had such terrible customer service. Robert Bacon in my experience does not have the ability to manage projects. So much was off sequence causing delays and his subcontractors did damage to the property. He promised to complete the job in an email November at no labor charge to us and finally came back to see the job the first week in December - he had not been back to the property since July when he started it. when we asked to reconcile his billing and to ensure that we had one list with all the remaining items - so that there was no confusion and we could gain alignment he did not return emails it would take him days to respond. Finally on December 22nd instead of getting a change of work order for agreement - he sent a new contract to us at 11:30 at night showed up on site and demanded that this new contract be signed or he was leaving the property. When I pointed out to him that we already had a contract and in it we had agreed to change orders he said he needed this one signed which I refused to do - as it was altering the terms and conditions of the one we had agreed too. The main differences is he changed that the homeowner had to pull permits - which in the one we agreed to was his responsibility. Then there we other differences but did not matter he left - insisting he had been 'thrown' off the job never correcting his mistakes or damage to the property - the job based on his estimates should have costs us about $25K the new contractor has over $40 K of work to do and we have lost use and rents on this mountain property as it was to be done end of August first week of September. No mind you we have paid for work that was not done and we have paid for work that has to be redone - when we go to the mountains now it is costing us over $600 dollars a weekend to stay someplace for us to check on our house. Basically this company did not do what they said they were going to do. If you look at their Yelp reviews we are not the only ones that had issues with them. My advise is find another option and save the headache.

Did not receive what we ordered.  Told they didn't make it any longer but did not get notified.  Sink leaked, bubbled our cabinet, and they did nothing about it.  One sink won't totally drain.  Took 5 trips to get shower door to stop running water on floor.
