Recent Review: There were a few issues, but overall i am very pleased. They kept having to come back to fix things, some of the workers they sent were temps so they had to redo a couple things. They had to reseal the plastic bag under my house as well. They also warrantied their work to have to radon levels down under 2, and at first the radon level was above 2. They cam back and fixed the problem ,the radon level is around 1.9 now. They also replaced the low voltage fan with a high voltage to bring down the levels of the radon. I was not real happy with the fan, it ran through the garage into the house and i can hear it very clearly at night. They were attentive and listend to my concerns . They were great at coming back and fixing things they did not do right the first time. They have 3 very qualified employees who were great to work with. They are trustworthy and their price was fair. The job was somewhat complicated, so i thought the price was right. I would highly recommend them.
Recent Review: Firm price of $795 was quoted over the telephone. They said price was fix regardless of installation issues. System was installed a week ago with a radon reading of 8.5 pCi/L. Level is at 4.0 pCi/L and still falling. Excellent experience.

Recent Review: We had a radon inspection in May 2012 and a second inspection in July 2012, at which time we decided it was necessary to proceed with repairs to our radon mitigation system. We bought the house in July 2010 and at that time the radon test showed the level of radon to be within acceptable limits - subsequent tests showed the level of radon was above acceptable limits. The Ace Radon technicians carefully explained what needed to be done to make our system up to code and effective.
The mitigation specialist showed up right on time! He quickly got to work looking at how the home was laid out. I was immediately impressed with his get right to work attitude. He was careful entering the house to not track in snow and very considerate of the property. After some discussion, we agreed on the best possible spot to install the hole in the floor to provide the best results. He got right to work and I got out of his way! Several hours later, I came back to check on the progress and was impressed! He exceeed my expectation by impacting the living space minimally. He ran the pipe outside, made some adjustments for power hook-up, and finished the job in one day! In addition, he moved the fridge downstairs, accessed the plumbing for the bathroom and sealed the plumbing going into the slab from behind. Finished the hole with a plastic plate. Basically, a professional job!

AAIR QUALITY CONTROL AGENCY INC
Set up of work appointment was easy after speaking with the sales person. Contractor arrived at appointed time and got right to work. Installation of low-profile radon system was completed in about 4 hours. Contractor was careful and cleaned up after himself both on the floor area where he drilled the hole as well as the ceiling and roof penetrations. They used a thermal scanner to be sure they did not drill thru the radiant heat pipes in the concrete slab. Roof jack was used for roof penetration and all openings were properly sealed. Installation looks neat and clean and noise levels inside the house are almost inaudible. System is guaranteed and company has insurance and workman's comp.

Everything turned out great. They shipped to me a radon testing kit. Once, I get the samples, I send it back to them so they can send the results back to me about my air quality. The turnover was pretty quick and the instructions were easy to follow.

AFour Corners Inspection Service Inc
Four Corners Inspection returned my call right away and arrived on time for the inspection. I was allowed to be there for the inspection and so I learned valuable information as Holly went through (and under and above) the house. The inspection taught me a lot about the home I was hoping to purchase. It was my first home and I had lots of extra questions. I learned what needed to be fixed right away and what could wait (until I had more money). She also ran a radon test for me. My real estate agent used the information to get the sellers to fix the biggest issues before I moved in.
