We began having problems 1-1/2 years after our master bath remodel. Having gone to (supposedly) the "best" and spending the money, we were shocked that the tile shower and floor were showing problems so soon. The grout was crumbling and we had reddish color spots/stains on the grout. When we showered, water ran out under the shower door frame at the bottom onto the floor. Once when I called I was told by the owner that their workers could not come over and clean my shower for me - in other words, it must be that I was dirty and did not clean my shower/floor. Then when I called to report mold growing, I again spoke to the owner of the business, who 1st tried to deny that they did the sealant because it cost extra; I told her it was on the invoice and we were charged for it. She then told me that the sealant they applied was to make it easier to clean the tile, not to keep the grout from absorbing water; the person she sent to see our mold told us that mold was a fairly common occurance in showers and we needed to have it steam cleaned and re-sealed at our expense. I have not ever had a mold problem with any other tile shower I have had. Instead of standing behind their work and correcting our problems, we ended up doing it ourself or hiring a handyman. I would never recommend a company with such poor customer service - beware that once you have paid them you are on your own, and be prepared to spend more money to have their work redone.
