Recent Review: It was a very positive experience. The person that they assigned was very prompt, he did excellent work and it was very good overall. We really appreciated the service, it was done in a timely manner and they did everything they said they would do. They immediately accepted my Angie’s List coupon over the phone, so there was no contention or anything with that and the payment was quick and easy.
Recent Review: Grandma's Handyman did a great job. They were prompt, friendly, and did the work very quickly. The handyman looked at my projects, gave me a quote, purchased all of the materials, installed them (including replacing a toilet) and was finished within about 4 hours.
Recent Review: The work was good, the handyman was personable and very helpful. Our door hardware turned out to be somewhat difficult and he stayed with it until it worked well and looked great. The only reason I would hesitate to use these guys again is the pricing - it's higher than other A-rated companies on this list. I think it amounted to at least $100/hr. I do like that the materials are not marked up.
Recent Review: Excellent. Bid was $1400, (in line with one other estimate) and he stuck to the bid, even tho he had to do a bit of extra work because of some unforseen cicumstances (rotten wood had to be repaired/replaced). Very nice man, very competent. Would use him again without reservation. He was on time, he finished on time. Very nice work (excellent). $1500 was very well spent.

All projects went well but when I called him back months later for another project he never called me back.

Estimate was 250. I didn't have rollers. He went to Home Depot for supplies. He broke one set of rollers, shopped again, reinstalled rollers on the door. The door still sticks and he gave up on it saying that's as good as he could fix it-no charge.

Prompt, worked steadily. Did a good job. Brought all his tools, set up on my deck and got to work. Did not take a lunch break, but worked straight through from 9 AM to 4 PM.

Dennis and his team are very professional and do a thorough job. Dennis listens to what you want and is very knowledgeable in home repairs. He is punctual and polite. He painted my house (exterior) and came back the next day and walked the property and immediately touched up any areas that needed it. He leaves the area clean and picks up all materials when job is completed. A great experience working with Dennis and his team.

ADMD Window & Door by DMD Builders Inc
In progress, but going very well. Tami is very knowledgeable and professional. We are awaiting estimates at this time (it turns out we require some rather special doors for which it takes longer to get estimates).

AA to Z Tiles & Remodeling
Everything went smoothly. I bought most of the supplies and had them at the house ready to go, ie., floor and wall tiles, new toilet, new shower pan, new water temperature sensing shower value and faucet, epoxy grout, new shower doors, and grab bars. Ziggy and his partner Andy did as we requested. My wife wanted them to use epoxy grout and to waterproof the cement board with Red Gard, (which they did). Ziggy did masterful job lining up the wavy wall tiles at the corners and also installing new pocket door. They used half of my 2 car garage to set up shop. That is where they had the tile saw and miter saw, etc. They laid canvas across our hardwood floor to create path from garage to master bath. All in all, they did a very good job.

ABret Briggs Carpenter/Handyman
Wow! I was extremely impressed with the quality and speed of Bret's work. He far exceeded my expectations. He also made suggestions which made things look better than the ideas I had. He completed the complex bathroom door trim and both sides of the bar knee wall in one day and came back the next day and made 6 new doors for kitchen cabinets, to compliment the rest of the "store bought" cabinets. He also built a brand new cabinet for over the kitchen sink, and still had time to install overhead cabinet trim, and toe kicks. Bret worked with me and we agreed that I would purchase and pick up the wood and that would save his time to do the finish carpentry work. After he was done with the work I applied the finishing coats of stain and sealer on all of the cabinets and trim work. One of the best contractors I've ever worked with.
