Executive Pro-Dry
Recent Review: Executive Pro-Dry team were highly professional and did a great job.  In a nutshell, we had a sewer line crack and over a period of time it created a bacteria and mold situation down the ceiling and mirror in the guest bath.  Chris from Bill's Plumbing came in and fixed the leak, but it made a big mess and he recommended Exec Pro-Dry.  They came within an hour and spent about 4-hours cleaning the area, removing the mold and disinfecting everything.  They're leaving their dryers in for 72 hours to make sure everything is completely dry.  I haven't had to deal with this kind of issue before, so I have no idea of the costs, but $3,100 seems expensive.  I would have graded this a "C" for fair on price, but they gave me a military discount and that moved it to a "B".  Yes, I recommend these guys because of professionalism and their response time was outstanding.

DSi Professional Restoration
Recent Review: I found DSi through Angie's List after my upstairs neighbor's water heater leaked down into my unit. Luckily the damage seemed to be constrained to my utility closet with a little seepage to other areas. I contacted DSi and they were very responsive and knowledgeable. It turns out that they were familiar with my complex and had done work there previously. I met them within the hour and they assessed my situation, explained everything and set up their drying equipment. Luckily, I did not need any walls opened up. The only slight issue I had was with the follow up communication. They set up their equipment on a Wednesday and I was told it could take anywhere from 3+ days to finish. I was expecting to hear from them on Friday or Saturday to check on the process but I did not hear from them at all. I had to call them on Monday to have them come out and check. They came out on Monday and all was well which was great since I was renting the place out on Tuesday. I was pleasantly surprised when I received their bill and it was less than I was expecting.

High Performance Carpet Cleaning, LLC
Recent Review: Just plain awesome! Had a little water damage and received estimates from three companies, including two nationally advertised organizations. These guys did the work in half the time at nearly half the cost of the next cheapest estimate. They answered my questions about some of the reasons certain things had to be done without giving me "that look".

Everything went smoothly, price was fair and work done was good..There was some over spray we needed to clean up, due to the texturing that needed done, but other than that the job was done quickly and professionally.

A1-800 Water Damage
Their work was quite good and they responded almost immediately. They saved me significant money because they were able to locate the leak very quickly using some high tech equipment. They dried out a large portion of the house and were professional, timely and comprehensive. I was very surprised at how quickly they responded and how well the repair work went. I will use them again in the future.

Mike's team responded quick and on a holiday.  He evaluated the situation and determined that the work could wait until the next day that wasn't a holiday.  By doing this he saved me a ton of money.  I would recommend this company above others.

A1-800 Water Damage
Mike, with 1-800 Water Damage, came to my house to look at the damage.  He came in with tools that helped isolate where the leak was coming from.  At the time, it looked like an upstairs toilet was leaking below.  He gave me a worst case scenario which seemed reasonable.  Because the total cost could have been pretty expensive with the mitigation and basically rebuilding the bathroom floor and tiling, I was considering paying through my insurance. When he came back out to do the work the next day, he opened up a relatively small spot of my basement ceiling and associated wall.  The good news was, the leak wasn't coming from the bathroom, but the kitchen sink above.  Because they kept the openings small, the overall repair (mitigation, plumbing, patching & painting) was just over my insurance deductible - so I decided not to file a claim. 1-800 Water Damage came out and gave me an estimate.  Mike didn't charge for the estimate or obligate me to use their services for the actual repair - rare to find these days!  Then, because I wasn't sure if I was using insurance or not, they waited to bill me until the end.  If I was going to use insurance, they would have billed the insurance directly.  Because I wasn't using insurance, they sent me a bill.  They actually did all their work, 3 or 4 trips to my house in all, and never asked for a payment until all work was done and didn't even try to collect at the time they finished. Mike and his crew (his son & daughter I believe) were very professional, polite, created as little mess as possible, and overall very pleasurable to work with.  I've had my share of bad luck with contractors, but this was definitely not one of those experiences. By the way, Mike also recommended the plumber and the drywall company that I used.  They were great recommendations, I was happy from start to end.

A1-800 Water Damage
The owner himself came out and assessed our basement.  He told us that we believed was mold was actually mineral growth on some of our walls, and could be easily scraped away ourselves.  There was no charge for him to come out and assess our home, and not knowing the difference, could have easily charged us an arm and a leg for "mold cleanup" regardless of whether we had it or not, and we would have never known the difference.  Such honesty is refreshing.

C1-800 Water Damage
There was a lot of work to be done. Vendor could only do the removal and mold mitigation. That leaves you to go out and get a different vendor to build it back after they tear it down. I found a single vendor that does it all but, I went with 1800waterdamage instead. I should have gone with the one stop shop. It would have been easier.
