They were very knowledgeable and had great product and price. However, their price was on the high side.

We were very pleased with the people and their work. Any issue we had was dealt with professionally and in a timely manner. The products themselves are top quality. They will not take a dime until after the work is done and we were totally satisfied. Any large company can be frustrating to deal with at times but Power puts the customer first in every phase of the project.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was great. They showed up on time, and the second time they came out, he was going to be late because of snow, and he called me ahead of time. I did not pay anything additional. The price of the big deal was good. We would use them in the future.

Great response and started quick. Everything went great until the end. He charged the last of the amount to the cc and then did not put the trim on the window to finish the job as he promised. Had to push him some to get it finished. Wished he would have finished it all before charging the cc.

I contacted 5280 Exteriors in May of 2013 for a project to be done in the summer of 2014. It turns out that they subcontract out all of the work performed. The only thing that 5280 Exteriors did was coordinate the jobs done. They failed miserably at this. The windows were installed in August of 2014 with the siding and installation done in October of 2014 the job was not completed until November 22, 2014. This had many potential problems because the jobsite is in the mountains off of a non maintained road...snowy weather is a big issue for access. Window installation General opinion: Sloppy Guys showed up pretty much unannounced. Folks at 5280 Exteriors have dropped the ball on customer communication no one told me they were coming to start the job. When talking to Mick and Bryce about the window install I got the feeling that they had never done it before. I ordered the windows with nail fins...they wanted to remove the nail fins to center the window in the opening. This would have placed the window weep ports to discharge on top or behind the siding. Not the way the windows were designed to be installed. The windows were installed with the nail fins as intended. They were also unaware of how to tape the exterior with sheathing of Celotex I provided adhesive to do this. Two guys did the window installation. They were very fast with little attention to detail. Windows were placed in the wrong locations and remain there. Only one window was of concern to me so I pointed it out to the installer prior to its' installation. It was the one tempered window that needed to be in the dining room near a door. It ended up in the living room. Each window was labeled as to which room it belonged. While cutting back the siding for the nail fins, they cut all the way through the siding and the sheathing all the way to the insulation. The rough opening of the windows were not flashed. The window was set in the opening directly on a wood 2 X 4 without any shims. This prevented any insulation on the bottom of the window. The side and top nail fins were installed without any sealant or caulk. On the interior sealing of the windows foam was applied to the gaps on the sides of the windows. On the top gap some had fiberglass stuffed in the gap with 1/3 of the windows not done at all or poorly done. No seal at all on the bottom of any window. Outside the windows were not sealed at all with tape. The windows came with capillary tubes connected to Mylar balloons. The tubes were to be crimped and the balloons removed after an acclimation period. This was not done. Interior items were covered to collect debris during construction, but the covers were removed before the job was done so crap was all over the house. On the second day I covered my furniture with sheets, those too were moved before the job was done. They vacuumed some of the debris, but much of it remained. Including large pieces of insulation, dirt, and Celotex. When Mick from 5280 Exteriors showed up after the window install, he agreed the job was and quot;sloppyand quot; and he added and quot;an embarrassmentand quot;. I was surprised that nothing was offered to compensate me for the poor work. I was presented with the full bill. Insulation This was to be coordinated with the siding crew to allow insulation to be blown in from the gable ends at each end of the house. The insulation crew showed up, but not the siding crew. Coordination was a failure but the insulation guys proceeded and did a good job. Siding installation The siding was cut back to install the windows (nail fins). The house was left this way for 2 months before the siding was installed. I had given 5280 Exteriors more than a year to schedule this project. The siding was pushed to the fall when I asked for it to be done during the summer. The day the siding was to begin, no crew showed. They came the next day. No one on the crew spoke English and the details about sealing the windows (that the windows guy did not do) were not conveyed to the siding guys. So we had a challenge trying to communicate what I wanted done. The house wrap was installed with the seams taped on one side of the house only. For the most part the crew did a good job with the siding. 3 sides of the house the siding looks excellent, the 4th side appears to not be so well planned. The shingles used on the gable ends start at different heights so the lap siding on the 4th side appears to not be level with the windows or the bottom of the siding...a tapered piece of siding was used on the bottom. The crew removed exterior lights, outlet covers, etc. Parts were lost and lights were replaced but not wired correctly. Due to the width of the siding, the outlets had no covers and were no longer easily accessible if a problem occurs.

AStellar Windows and Insulation
After doing an energy audit for the home we bought in Evergreen, CO, Stellar recommended an insulation upgrade and sealing around all windows and doors. This all electric house had a high electric bill each month in the winter. We scheduled Stellar to come in to do the upgrade and sealing. Their very professional crew arrived on time on the scheduled date and set immediately to work. Around mid-afternoon the crew lead called in another crew to help them finish by end of day since t was taking longer than planned. The two crews worked until after 7:00 PM to finish the work. I was not charged for the extra labor. The results of the upgrade and sealing has significantly lowered our electric bill (> 20%). I would use Stellar again and in fact plan to when I am ready to replace some of the older windows with energy efficient triple pane windows.

They're okay. They're in the top three but not the best. He gave me a heads up about the asbestos in the basement. He's a real nice guy, I thought. The best price came from another service provider. Stellar wasn't bad on the paperwork. They didn't seem to quite understand a good way to insulate the house. They were the first ones I called. The other ones had much better ideas. The quote was in the $3000 to $4000 range. It was higher than the other companies I'd gotten quotes from. He was one of the friendliest guys.

My house had a really bad draft to the point that you could see the curtains on the windows moving. The guys showed up early in the morning, did their thing (promptly & efficiently) and was out mid afternoon. They were professional, honest (when asked how much would it be to replace the windows ) and very nice.

BStellar Windows and Insulation
We started with an energy audit and that went well. The initial appointment went as described and I received a report along with some quotes to remediate some of the issues found in the audit. Most of the prices were fair but the attic insulation was ~35% higher than comparable quotes. I used Stellar for all the work except the attic insulation. Stellar is an Xcel Energy certified contractor, which is a required status of any contractors you use if you want to collect on any of the Xcel Energy rebates, but when it came to the attic insulation the money for the rebates would not have been nearly enough to cover the difference of price in services when compared to other companies. The Stellar crew that actually did the work, insulating two crawl spaces and air sealing the windows and vents in the entire house, was professional and friendly. All but one of the guys did a fantastic job but luckily the crew-chief was conscientious enough to follow-up and double-check everything, correcting the things his guy missed. I would use them again and would make sure to get at least one other quote.
Recent Review: We made contact with Complete Basement Systems at the home show. A rep came to the house and examined the crawl space. We didn't have any water, mold or structural damage. He measured the space and provided some options and prices. He gave us 2 days to make an order at that price. On the scheduled day, they arrived on time. They removed all of the old insulation, and installed everything in one (long) day. They removed all debris and cleaned up. They came through a window in the basement rather than the house. It looks great, and is a lot easier to move around in the crawlspace for storage
Recent Review: The "Project Managers" that came to my home did a fantastic job communicating to me the whole process of the job. They were on time and very professional. I acquired other estimates and Advanced Exteriors ability to settle my insurance claim from the recent storm damage was a headache I did not need to have. I personally spoke with the owner, Ty, and had the privilege to meet him. For an owner of a company to take time out of their day to speak with a costumer means a lot to me. The work that they performed was second to none. I have and will continue to recommend Advanced Exteriors to my friends, family, and neighbors. I am going to call them to get free solar for my home as well.
Recent Review: I have used them for over fifteen years. Great finished product saving tons on electric and gas. Clyde was very helpful in assisting us with the process. Absolutely no problems. I will definitely recommend them and absolutely use them, again.

Recent Review: It was perfect. I worked with both Constantine and John and both were very professional in explaining how the process worked. Zero pressure! They also worked directly with my insurance company so I only had to pay the deductible on the roof replacement. The work was done quickly and efficiently; they also cleaned up the work area perfectly. Best roofing company in Colorado!
Recent Review: I had 1700 sf of attic space insulated and air sealed in a two attic, tri-level house. Ryan was absolutely awesome. He was very knowledgeable and answered everyone of my questions...I had a lot. They showed up early to every appointment. Once the job was completed, they did an awesome job cleaning up and vacuuming with their HEPA vacuum. I would highly, highly recommend these guys. They also filled out the Xcel rebates for me and subtracted from my bill. AND, they did a blower door test to validate the air leakiness of my house. They were able to reduce my leakiness by 52%!!! The next day, I could feel the difference already!
Recent Review: The project went very well. I really liked Rick, the lead on the project team. We would discuss tricky areas and Rick would figure out the best option. I wanted certain J-channel and colors used around certain windows and certain peaks on the the house. Rick liked it that I was going for a certain look and design. After all, this siding is guaranteed for the life of the house, so it is important that it all look right when the project is done. Rick and Dwayne brought a radio with them, so there was music going while they worked. They could not work on days that snowed. Spring snows are too wet. One night the wind came up and blew some of the foam layer off the walls. But that was easily put back up. During Spring Break, Rick and Dwayne brought their sons with them and let the young men do a bit of apprentice work. Every day, before they left, everything was picked up. Some large tools and ladders were left in the back yard. Others were put into a trailer that was parked in front of the house for the duration of the project. Trash was stored in two large "bags" that Waste Management picked up 3 days after the project was done. The Waste Management driver who picked up the bags did not like the fact that one of the bags was "under a tree". It made picking it up with the mechanical arm difficult. But he was skillful and did no damage to either the tree or the bushes that were in the way. Work began on March 18, and ended on April 4, 2015. The team worked M-F and generally from 8 AM to 5 PM. (Although they did work one Saturday (April 4) for about 1/2 day to complete work that rain halted on that Friday.) There were two snow days during the project. So actual number of days for installation was 12. (I estimated that it would be at least 10.) Overall, the project went smoothly and now I have the "newest house in the neighborhood.
Recent Review: Service was excellent. Number one, these guys were very price competitive. Do the work themselves and they were interested in what we had to say, creative in solutions, and overall, were very responsive. Couldn?t ask for a better recommendation.
