Recent Review: Three years ago Peak Structural installed an extensive basement waterproofing system to hopefully prevent future flooding in my basement. So far the system has been excellent--several heavy rain/hail events and no flooding. I requested an annual maintenance and check of the system and Nick Tinker was the technician assigned to the task. Nick was thorough and professional. In addition to performing maintenance on my system he checked the house for any other potential problems. He found a couple of minor issues but was honest in stating they didn't have to be addressed immediately. Nick was terrific. Hopefully he will still be around next year for my annual check!

PINNACLE STRUCTURAL SERVICES
Recent Review: We have an 84-year-old tudor ranch in East Denver. Our concern was a crack under the paint and some mineral build up on the wall in one part of our basement. Pinnacle's rep showed up on time and was immediately very friendly and casual. Not salesy at all and very accommodating to our spastic black lab. We went down to the basement to look at the problem where water was leeching through and was causing efflorescence and paint bubbling that was of concern because we knew these things could be indicators of something a lot bigger. After looking it over he proceeded to take an hour to explain the different options we had without ever expressing preference to any one option and completely leaving it for us to decide based on our budget, comfort level and trust in his explanations (which we did trust). Our minds were put at ease immediately and there was no and quot;you must do this now or your house will fall downand quot; BS that other companies have been known to employ. He was extremely knowledgeable and didn't blow smoke at all. It was determined that the issue wasn't large and could be handled in a number of different ways including through our own and quot;sweat equityand quot;. In the end we also had him, for the sake of curiosity, look at our crawl space to give us a quick estimate on waterproofing it and covering the dirt so it was a more viable storage space. The estimate was about $1,800 (~800 sq ft of coverage) and I can tell you, with the experience we had today, there is no reason to get a second opinion. when we're ready, we will be calling Pinnacle to do that work for us.

H2O Drainage Systems
Recent Review: Terrill was great! After some minor miscommunications regarding timing and scheduling, Terrill provided excellent service for a very fair price. We needed some grading done outside of the home, some non-structural cement work repairs and some drain replacement work, and all of this was done by H2O Drainage. I would definitely hire this company again, and would recommend them to anyone looking for drainage solutions in the Denver Metro area. Terrill's experience and knowledge of the Colorado soil and drainage systems saved us money and gave us confidence that the job was done right.

This company proved to be professional all the way through the process. I felt the price was reasonable for the work done. They gave me several options to consider with a range of prices. It is obvious that professionalism and keeping the customer in the loop are areas of emphasis for Peak Structural as they did both quite well. Based on their reputation (BBB company of the year!) and performance for me, I would not hesitate to use them again.

The representative was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He walked us thru all our options to include a minor fix as that is all we needed. Our issue was small enough for us to fix so their services were not needed. He was honest about it and did not try to up sell me anything. I appreciate the honesty and if a larger job arises I will for sure go with Peak Structural, good to run into an honest business. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

APINNACLE STRUCTURAL SERVICES
Mike came out to look at our 90 year old basement which has had some, but not a lot, of water seepage during a very wet Colorado season.  He spent quite a bit of time reviewing the situation.  Since the foundation and crawl spaces appear to be structurally sound without much water coming in, he recommended initial measures to move water away from the foundation rather than inside or outside perimeter drains or excavation waterproofing.  He thought we could do this work ourselves and that it would likely solve our problem; if not, we could consider other options at a later time.  After he left, we had several questions; he spent time on a phone call and promptly answered our email (while on his vacation).  We are implementing his recommendations with expected good results.  We will call him back if further work needs to be done.  Awesome interaction focused on getting it right rather than generating money.  We would recommend him to friends. Also, Mike looked at our unattached garage double brick wall built on grade which has some cracking.  He thought we might need 3 helical piers to stabilize the wall, but that he would have an independent licensed structural engineer assess it before any work was done.  His report with bid was sent promptly.  The "B" rating for price is because this type of work seems to be expensive; his pricing is about the same as others we had.  We have had a licensed structural engineer evaluate the garage; in his opinion, at this point, the helical piers are not needed.  If this work needs to be done in the future, we will call Mike.  Again, his professionalism is exemplary.  He is a pleasure to work with.

DPINNACLE STRUCTURAL SERVICES
11/16/2015 & 11/18/2015: I had 6 wall anchors and an angle iron installed. The salesman, Ken, was very personable, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. The crew worked very hard during the installation. They cut my sprinkler line in 2 or 3 places, which they repaired. They broke the gate on my fence, which they also repaired. They did a sloppy job cutting the drywall for the placement of 2 of the wall anchors. They nicked the wall in several places and the cut lines weren’t straight and it did not look professional at all. I sent pictures to Ken and he replied “We will have them re-cut as that is not acceptable to me at all.” They re-cut and it looked much better, but unfortunately that meant cutting out larger sections of the walls than was necessary. Getting the inspection finalized took several months and required lots of follow up with Pinnacle. The work was completed on 11/18/15, but the inspection wasn’t finalized until 2/18/16. On 6/13/16, we had heavy rain, and water began leaking through one of the wall anchors. I’ve lived in my home for over 3 years, during which time we’ve had several occurrences of heavy rain and I've never had a leak in the middle of the wall until now, and it is in the exact location that Pinnacle drilled a hole in my wall. I contacted them and requested that they fix it, and they replied: “We would be happy to come out to your home to repair this issue.  Per the contract Customer Responsibilities and Site Conditions #6 Water seepage is not covered by this Warranty and may require a waterproofing system from the Contractor at an additional cost to the Customer.” It is apparent that they did not properly seal the area where they drilled. I should not have to pay for Pinnacle to fix their work.
