Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup
Recent Review: Mike Kapraszewski and Mark were wonderful! We had not considered that the cabinet we had bought ahead of time might not conform with the original, 42-year-old plumbing set-up. Over the years we have found out the hard way that everything is just "off" of today's specs. Mike and Mark suggested and detailed for us what could be done. This involved drilling holes in a wall and the cabinet and moving pipes and P-trap. They were skilled, patient, and friendly. They did everything just as they had said they could. The work they did was stellar and the clean-up afterwards was as well. Thank you for a job very well done!

Mr.C's Plumbing
Recent Review: In a nutshell, it was a great experience. We are very happy with his work, price, and attitude. I originally called to have a faucet replaced in our bathroom. It was very old and the piping was old. When Jeremie came in ( on a Friday ), he saw the faucet and was able to do the work, but my wife asked him if he could replace our vanity too since he was down there. He said he could, but obviously we didn't have a vanity for him to install. I told him I wanted the faucet installed and we would get a vanity later on. He suggested we do both at once. He didn't want to charge us to install a faucet and then install a vanity. We agreed and he was able to come back on Monday to do the whole job. We bought the vanity and on Monday he arrived. He tried to install the vanity, but it did not fit. It was just not going to work the way the vanity was built ( it had drawers that went right over the piping and we have a very small bathroom so there was no way to move it ). We went to go and return it and get another one. He did not mind and he had to go to get some supplies so he was with us when we got the new vanity to make sure it would work. I really appreciated the work Jeremie did and the way he approached the curve balls thrown his way. He did not try and nickel and dime us and was very determined to give us what we wanted. I will not hesitate to give him a call if we need any plumbing work done.

Recent Review: fine job, professional, prompt, clean - just too pricey. I also needed a basement bathroom vanity connected and was quoted and gt; $400 for a job that took me 1 hour this weekend. I understand it's a Denver economics thing and plumber shortage in our area in general, so really can't blame them but still.

Painted guest bedroom and installed ceiling fan; installed bathroom vanity and sink; framed and painted large bathroom wall mirror. Professional, efficient, reliable service.  And he cleaned up everything without a trace!

DSunshine Plumbing Heating Air
As a long-time and loyal customer of Sunshine Plumbing, Heating and Air, I felt it was important to share my personal experience yesterday during this most service call. I spoke with one of Sunshine’s employees on Thursday morning and set up an appointment for Friday between 1-3pm. I gave her my billing address as well as the service address and stressed the service address in Boulder. She said a technician would call me when he was leaving his last job to alert me of a more exact arrival time. I further described the job in great detail, saying we needed to install 2 new quarter shutoffs under the lower level bathroom vanity. Early Friday afternoon, I received a call from Garrett saying he was almost at the Huron Street address. I told him that was my billing address, not the service address. Once Garrett arrived, we went downstairs to look at the job. I asked him, “Just as it has always been, the clock starts when you begin the job and ends when the job is complete, right?” He gave me a puzzled look and said, “We only do jobs now by stated prices, not time involved. That is how we have always done it.” Much to my dismay, I explained how all of my business with Sunshine had been done by exact time involved. He told me that maybe William (Sunshine's owner) would do it that way, but he would not. On top of all of this, Garrett proceeded to inform me that he did not have the shutoff valves in his truck and he would have to go to a supply house to procure them, even though I had very clearly stated what we were going to be doing when I made the appointment the day before. More than 30 minutes passed before he returned. Because there were tenants waiting at the unit and the job had to be completed, I reluctantly decided to go ahead and proceed. What turned out to be less than 30 minutes of work billed out at $256! The fault on my part, I guess, was not asking more specifically when I initially set up the appointment. I had no idea you had changed your business model. One of the things that really attracted me to your company initially on Angie’s List was your fair and honest approach of only charging for the exact amount of time you were at the jobsite. I shared that appreciation with William in person and in a glowing Angie’s List review at the time. When it came time to check out, my email address was incorrect in the iPad, we had to manually enter the credit card information twice, and when the invoice finally came through, the invoice date was missing and the job address was incorrect. The only silver lining in all of this is that I had a $50 service coupon I was able to apply to my total invoice. Even given that, the price charged for the services rendered, I believe, was exorbitant. I felt I owed it to Sunshine and potential customers to express my disappointment with this most recent service call.

FAll Remodeling Done Right
This was awful.  I purchased the coupon for $2400 of home maintenance for a year for $800.  JT refused to honor it.  I tried to schedule handyman services, and he was supposed to come on June 4 but then rescheduled to June 11, 2013.  He showed up with a "helper' who didn't have any expertise and couldnt' do anything without JT supervising me. I didn't ask for 2 guys. Then JT wanted to charge me for 13 hours of time, including the time for this helper guy to stand around and not be able to do anything by himself.  JT charged me for supplies he took with him, he cut the plumbing on the vanity too short and didn't finish the job--actually left with the bathroom sink disconnected and then refused to come back. As for the lights installed, one of them doesn't work.  He told me to apply caulk to both the outside lights, to prevent water intrusion.  But he was holding a thing of caulk he had charged me for.  When I asked him to apply the caulk I had purchased, he looked at me with a blank stare and didn't do it. I was really excited about this deal, but now I feel taken for a ride.  I've tried to get a refund from Angies list (which JT told me to do before abruptly hanging up on me), but he wants to get paid at his full rate for the shoddy half-done work.  It's pretty clear to me that this guy did not want to honor the coupon, and if this is how he runs his business I'm surprised he's gotten any good reviews--overcharging and not finishing the job. Apparently when a bad review is written, if it is later resolved the review is deleted.  this is misleading for consumers, because it hides the fact that there are problems. I'm still trying to find someone to finish the job.  what a waste of time and money this was.

AMr.C's Plumbing
I had an excellent experience with this firm. I purchased a Big Deal for $49 for an hour of plumbing service. When Dave from Mr. C's first came out, he told me that the pedestal sink I purchased wouldn't fit in the space and that he couldn't install it. He didn't charge me for the visit. I then got a vanity that did fit. Dave came out again and did a good job installing it in a challenging space. He also repaired a toilet that wasn't working well. He was on time, polite, efficient, and friendly. He checked and double checked to be sure that installation was working properly. The Big Deal was truly a great deal in my case. However, their regular rates seem better than other plumbers I've called. I would highly recommend this small business and definitely use them again.
