Recent Review: Very pleased with Kahar plumbing and will plan on using them in the future. My experience with them could not have gone better. They are extemely professional and cleaned up everything when they were finished. Jeff also provided me with some advice based on other basements he had done in the neighborhood that probably save me a lot of trouble. I was going to cut the concrete in the basement to relocate the plumbing fixtures. Because it was an engineered basement floor this would have been a very bad idea and an expensive mistake.

Recent Review: I actually called Doug to look at my roof. I was missing shingles and wanted him to give me an estimate. After checking out the roof, we agreed he would have to come back to fix it. Since he was at the house I asked him to replace an existing light fixture in the dining area. He was kind enough to take care of it immediately. He had to put the replacement fixture together as it came in pieces. He did a great job and couldn't have been a nicer guy. Knows what he is doing and just does it. I was so happy with the results. Doug is extremely honest, professional and he is my handyman from now on.

Recent Review: The plumber showed up exactly at 9 AM, when he said he would and installed not only the tub fixtures, but also mounted a ring mount for the new  toilet in the downstairs rough in.  He was friendly and professional and got the job done in a timely manner. We did have to pay holiday wages, but it was well worth it. I've used Chambers off and on over the years, and have always found them to be reliable and competively priced. Thanks Chambers for helping me out of a tough situation.

Joe and MaryJane did a great job for me, and I was satisfied with the results. They worked around my schedule, helped us plan materials, and created a quality bathroom out of an embarrassing, hideous mess!! I recommend them highly.

FRex's Plumbing & Heating
We had a terrible experience with Rex's Plumbing & Heating in Fort Collins. We suffered a house fire in October 2015, lost our home and our possessions, and we were under-insured on both. While rebuilding, we had Rex and Levi come to the house and install a floor drain and ejector pit in the basement slab. We asked Rex for an invoice and they gave it to us on May 20, and we quickly paid them on June 3. During framing, we talked to Rex about bidding the plumbing on the entire house. He walked the job with my husband, and everything was going okay until we said that my parents bought our plumbing fixtures for us. Rex got angry that we weren't buying our fixtures from his supplier so that he could mark them up for profit. After that, we called and emailed multiple times giving Rex plenty of opportunities to provide a bid to do our plumbing. (He could have raised his rates a little to cover for his supposed profit loss on fixtures but guess he didn't think of that). Almost a year later, we are trying to get a bank loan to finish construction. From March 5 to April 17, we have emailed and called Rex multiple times to get a lien waiver for the bank. It might seem like a silly exercise for $382.00, well beyond the statute limits on filing a lien, but the bank wants it. Rex won't provide it. That's a dilemma. When my husband showed up at Rex's office this afternoon, Rex told my husband he would not sign the document and to get off his property (several times). He said it was because we were nit-picking his purchase of fixtures and that we took his free time to walk the property. (I thought that was what contractors do all the time - walk job sites, bid, and win/lose the jobs). We might scratch our heads and wonder about the definition of passive-aggressive. If you call Rex's and get to voice mail, it says "have a blessed day" maybe because he claims to be a Christian. We might scratch our heads and wonder about what it really means to be a Christian. At the end of today, my husband and I feel "blessed" that we did not hire Rex to do the plumbing on our home.
