Recent Review: Due to another problem with the house, we discovered (and to our amazement) that rodents had removed most of the insulation from the lower attic portion of our house and made nests with it in the corners. Really?  Yes!  Chuck & Sean were great.  We had one delay when there was an equipment break down, but they returned and completed the job a few days later.  They were careful of our furniture and clothing and cleaned the house and yard up nicely. They were also very careful of our older kitty.  It took a few days to get an answer to my first calls, but I am very glad I waited and used them.  They are very nice and very attentive.  Price was $1,293.50.  When they came back after the equipment failure they added extra insulation to the upper attice at no charge. Oh, and Sean is a very good piano player!

Recent Review: We have a 100 year old house with an attic room that needed insulation. I left Phil a message and he returned my call within the same day. Phil was able to stop by the next day and provide us with an estimate. We had several insulation providers to choose from. We chose Phil because he was most concerned about how to make our attic room comfortable year round. Other companies seemed more interested in just getting the job finished. Phil’s also gave us a great price along with excellent service. Phil took great care to ensure that the insulation was installed properly and he didn’t cut any corners. The insulation is already keeping the attic cool during the hot summer days. Lastly, Phil and his partner were very nice and trustworthy. He was very friendly and we left him alone at our house with no issues. I would recommend Phil to anyone.

Recent Review: I spent about $2100. They were incredibly thorough, very conscientious of trying to keep things clean and keep dust and things down in my home with the work that they did. My son's bedroom hardly had any insulation over it when the house was built and the worker made a suggestion to me to make the insulation adequate. They went in and sprayed the insulation through the garage roof and immediately there is a change in the temperature in my son's room in cold weather. They also did some work in my crawlspace and they did a good job there as well too. They were very reasonably priced compared to other companies. He gave me a 5%  discount because I was apart of Angie's List.

Recent Review: It was impressive. They crawled around every pipe in my house when sealing and advised against sealing my garage since it's an outside space. They changed the air return in the master bedroom from the top of the wall to the bottom of the wall which was a great help with circulating the air. Air circulation in my town house was a huge problem, but they have been a great help. Their whole organization, including the office staff, seemed really on top of things.

Recent Review: Their bid was the lowest, not by a lot, but the lowest of 3 bids. Supervision was excellent, they called back when we contacted them. Their crews however didn't always show up when they were scheduled. Took a little longer then we thought and required a few follow up calls on our part. Again, supervision by Bob was great.

My husband and I have been concerned about the high cost of our home's gas and electric bills for several years.  We experienced air infiltration from the basement area which, in turn, made several rooms above the basement very cold.  In December 2012 and January 2013, the severe cold weather increased the air infiltration.  Our new furnace ran constantly.  I contacted "The Insulation Guys" for the purpose of installing spray foam in the basement to eliminate the problem.  Chuck Davis answered my call immediately and was very knowledgeable.  Although Chuck offered a cost effective spray foam solution, my husband and I decided this was the time to insulate several areas of our home.  Chuck conducted a thorough analysis of our home and provided an itemized estimate of the project and cost.  To accommodate my frequent business travel schedule, the start date was 1 week later.  The project cost was fair and within my budget.  Their written estimate was 12-15% less than 3 other big insulation firms. The services provided by Chuck Davis and Sean Clark were EXCELLENT.  They arrived on time, demonstrated very high levels of professionalism and hard work ethics during the entire time spent in my home.  The project required 2 days of work.  The team worked on 2 EXTREMELY cold days and I never heard one complaint regarding how cold it was working in my garage. The final project included:  - spray foam the basement to eliminate the air infiltration  - add batt insulation in the basement in addition to the spray foam insulation  - add loose insulation in the attic to increase the r-value of the home  - add additional loose insulation in a 8x10' attic area of my baster bathroom that did not have any insulation (explains the consistent temperature variance in half of the bathroom)  - add spray foam, vapor barrier and batt insulation in our 3 car garage including the high pitched ceiling  - returning to the home to add additional insulation in a few areas where my husband has relocated 4 garage upper cabinets (at no extra cost) The clean-up was very acceptable.  I plan to have "The Insulation Guys" return to my home for an additional project in the summer to completely insulate the basement walls with batt insulation and vapor barrier. In closing, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Chuck Davis and Sean Clark and their firm "The Insulation Guys".  I will use them for all future insulation projects.  I am sure they will provide you excellent service.  I welcome the opportunity to serve as a reference for this firm.

AThe Insulation Guys
Chuck has incredibly high standards for customer service, and that is such a difference maker for me! After some mold remediation, some of the sprayfoam insulation had been removed from our crawl space. Instead of opting to replace with sprayfoam (since if there were ever mold again, it would be incredibly difficult to remove), we decided to go with the usual stuff. I told Chuck it was a small job, and if he would be willing to do it the same day as he came up to give an estimate, we could just get it done and not wait. He really appreciated that, and said he'd be willing. However I live in the mountains of Boulder and it had rained. He called me a couple times to reschedule saying he thought it'd be better to let some of the moisture evaporate. He was very professional telling me when he'd be able to come out. His communication was excellent. Then when he came, the job was even smaller than he originally anticipated. He said he'd have to charge me his minimum of $250.00, but asked if there was any other handyman type things he could do. I was blown away by this professionalism. We had some holes on the back of the house from wood peckers, and he offered to fill those with liquid nail. Once I started on my bathroom remodel, the tile guys noticed there was still some air blowing under the crawl space on a windy day. I called Chuck and he gladly came out and found two additional vents he hadn't covered free of charge. We had so enjoyed talking with him about Spain, we had distracted him the first time while he was down there and he got sidetracked, so it was pretty much our fault! We should have just let him work, but he really is such a nice guy, you can't help but want to hang out with him a little. In fact when he came that second time, we let him work and then had a coffee with him for like fifteen minutes. He is professional and wonderful. And the customer service is second to none!

They crew that they sent out didn t speak any English and they brought the wrong utensils so they were unable to finish the work. Then they even tried to charge me one hundred dollars more than what they were supposed to. The entire experience was a disaster.

AThe Insulation Guys
Chuck at The Insulation Guys was a real pleasure to work with. Punctual, professional and committed to making sure that we were happy with the end product. We purchased a new house (to us, at least) back in 2009 and during inspection we found out the last time insulation was installed was in 1984. Needless to say, our insulation needed a serious upgrade. We purchased the Angie's list deal for insulation at $995 for 1000 sq. ft. and paid about $100 additional because our home has about 1100 sq. ft. that needed coverage (an expected extra expense, and we wanted full coverage, although Chuck did offer to slightly reduce insulation depth). They got it done quickly and even cleaned our garage when they got done (attic access was in the garage). We can already tell a huge difference. The house stays a nice steady temperature, and I can't wait to see the difference in the winter, as there were always drafty areas when it got really cold. I would definitely recommend Chuck and The Insulation Guys to anybody wanting to upgrade their insulation. Very impressed!
