Recent Review: Aaron was great for the job we needed. He was easy to contact, returned my call and kept a good line of communication open. Super pleased with the work he did, and already have asked him to give an estimate on a few other jobs around the house. I would recommend him to anyone. He's professional, prompt, and does a great job. And he's reasonable.

Recent Review: I called Super Shooters to do some drywall repair before having my interior painted. Keith Martin came out, as scheduled, to give me an estimate. He thoughtfully called me to confirm that he was on his way. He looked at the drywall to be repaired and said that it was a very minor repair, his minimum charge was $250, and it wasn't worth paying that much. It was a simple, minor repair that any good painter could fix for much less. He assured me that he would do the repair if I wanted though. I had been told by a previous repairperson that the fix would require 2 visits, so the mud could dry before the texturing. He said the mud dries in about 20 minutes. He was very nice and helpful. I would hire him if I had more extensive drywall repair

CSuper Shooters
Did not use them because the estimate was outrageous compared to three others I received for the same job.  Super Shooters bid $1,540, when the estimate I went with was $900 and the contractor did an incredible job.  Keith was nice enough of a guy, but his estimate was way out there.  (The other two came in at $1,075 and $1,025.)  It was disappointing because Super Shooters did a job for me about four years ago and it went well.  I'm glad they're doing well enough to be able to charge these rates and keep busy.  Good for them.

ADeco Construction Inc
Philip was absolutely amazing. We are extremely happy with the quality of the work. Everything step, texturing, flooring, cabinets, appliances, etc, was done very well. Every time we made changes (extend the counter 4"'s, create a nitch in the wall above the cooktop, change the backsplash and add.....), Philips response was, "we can do that, no problem". With all of the changes we made, the hidden challenges Philip found that needed to be fixed, exactly 8 weeks later everything was done for the original price, no hidden or extra charges. Oh yeah, he told us before we started it would take 8-9 weeks so he even hit that mark perfectly. I have already recommended Philip to several friends looking to have work done and I will definitely call him for any future projects we have.

AA&A Drywall Co.
Aand A Drywall Co was a God-send. We had a whirlpool bath tub that had slowly leaked through the floor into the ceiling of the downstairs garage, destroying a large section of drywall in the ceiling. There was also water damage upstairs in the living space. Scott was very nice; responsive, efficient and very professional. He did a beautiful job and we would definitely call him for any drywall needs in the future. We would also highly recommend Aand A Drywall. He gets an A+ from us!

Kimo showed up on-time everytime. His employees were very professional and did a spectacular job. They straightened studs, put up drywall, and matched texturing beautifully, Don't try to do drywall yourself, get a pro!

AJ D's Drywall
John was extremely responsive to my every question from the beginning to the end of the project. He gave 150%. I would hire him again and will highly recommend him to others. I am sorry to say that I had a very bad experience with JD Drywall. I hired this company while still living in Southern CA to complete a drywall job in Carmichael, CA, which was to become my new home. It was a straightforward job drywalling a @230SF room with a 6-foot slider, one window, an entry door, and standard outlet/switch boxes. This room was in a garage; the two walls facing the exterior had a 6” concrete base. The studs above that base had been built out to meet it for easier drywalling of the area. John Drinkwater, the owner of JD Drywall, made an on-site visit and saw the situation before he gave me his estimate. I paid him the first half that estimate before work began. In the end, JD Drywall left chaos in its wake. The drywallers (1) did not bring the drywall to the floor on those exterior walls (thus, two of the walls were not complete), (2) pushed the drywall up against the entry door so hard that the door would no longer shut properly, (3) covered up six outlets, (3) did not complete edging work on two interior walls, (4) drywalled over wire rough-in for the mini-split system, and (5) did not remove drywall debris/broom-clean floors as per the contract I signed. From afar (500 miles away in Southern CA), I paid John Drinkwater in full, assuming that he had completed the job as agreed. I gave him a glowing review without seeing his work because, unfortunately, I trusted him. A week later, after arriving at the site and seeing the mess he had left, I wrote John a letter detailing the problems. He replied by email several days after that, saying that he had been sick but would do whatever was necessary to rectify the situation. I explained that I would have someone else resolve most of the problems and invoice him for the cost. I assured him that I had no intention of overcharging him but simply wanted reimbursement for the expenses incurred to me to rectify his mistakes and oversight. He agreed to pay. About a week later, I sent him a letter detailing the costs involved in rectifying the situation, which came to $380.00. The actual cost to me in time and effort was much more as anyone in the business knows (including John). Still, I tried to be fair to John and asked him to pay that sum by May 15. Instead, he said he could only justify $240 of that amount. I replied that it was not up to him to second guess how much time and money it took me to rectify his mistakes, and I reiterated that I expected full payment by May 15. I am sorry to say that he has neither paid that sum nor contacted me further. He agreed to do a job he did not do. He agreed to pay the cost of rectifying his mistakes and has not done so. His silence and inaction have now forced me to give this review and proceed to small claims court.

ADAN TOLSON CONSTRUCTION
I contacted Dan who came over and discussed the scope of work with me. I wanted to do some of the demo, framing, and electrical myself. He provided me a quote for each step that I was unsure if I wanted to complete and told me he would do any portion of the work. He and his crew came out the following week after I had completed the demo of the ceiling and relocated the plumbing for me. They also replaced the HVAC ducting to allow for recessed lighting and to fit it into a smaller soffit. At that point I wanted to reframe the soffit myself and install can lights and pendent boxes myself. He agreed to come back the following week after I did my portion and continue with the installation of the new drywall. The next week rolled around and I had run out of time to relocate the range vent, he jumped right in and finished for me. After talking to him that morning, I also decided to insulate the ceiling, he told me what to buy and I headed to the hardware store while he was installing the vent. He then installed the insulation for me without a complaint. He and his crew installed the new drywall, finished, and painted everything I wanted. It was a pleasure to work with Dan and his crew, they did an excellent job. I would not hesitate to call them again.

AMike's Handyman Service & Drywall Repair
The area on my drywall in my bathroom where I had attached a towell bar a couple years ago had lost its integrity because I had used too much force when installing the drywall anchors.  Over time, the towell bar became looser and looser because the drywall spot it was attached to was imploding.  I finally got around to calling Mike's Handyman Service & Drywall Repair  and Mike came out the very same day (luckily he had time to squeeze me in).  Mike is a nice guy and he took the time to make a full repair to my drywall and he even re-textured over the repaired area of drywall.  He placed a board in the drywall so that when I re-attached my towell bar, I wouldn't have to use any drywall anchors because I'd be attaching to the board in the drywall.  My towell bar is now re-attached to the wall and is as strong as a tank.  Thanks Mike!!!

Asuper drywall interior
Called john and he and his son came out about an hour after I called to look at the job. Je quoted a price to me and I said ok. He then proceeded to do the work right then. They finished in about 40 minutes. Said they would be back the next day at the same time. John came the next day to finish. He was in and out in a very short time. John covered the work area and was very neat. I would highly recommend. Thank you John for your quick action.

ADrywall Done Rite
Fantastic. I have hired Drywall Done Rite three times to come in and repair three major areas in my home. I have a unique imperfect smooth drywall texture throughout my home. The guy is OCD about his work. I don't know how he does it, but after painting over his drywall repair and texture. You'd never know a repair was ever done. Superb work. This guy is an artist at what he does.
