This is the third repair on the same dishwasher in 6 months. The second visit was only about a month ago. Every single time, they set an appointment for a certain time frame (i.e. 8am to 12 noon). They have been consistently over an hour past the latest time given. Today they were to be at the house between 8 and noon, At 12:30. I called and they tell me for sure no later than 2pm. At 2:40pm, I began on online chat with their Customer Service Dept, who had no luck reaching the "missing" service provider. At 4:45, their agent called me to see if anyone had shown up. (no). At 5:30 someone else called to tell me he "just had a message to call me" , and didn't know why. At about 5:45 the repair man called to reschedule, for tomorrow. We shall see. In addition, they always set their appointments for a week away, then come and see what parts they need, have the parts shipped to the customer, then you have to set up another appointment, again another week away... this dishwasher is in a rental property, and the renter is quite upset, that not only does it keep breaking down (so far they have replaced just about every part on it, including the control panel), but she is having to arrange her schedule (3 school age kids) around a repair service that isn't on schedule! I had a problem with a different appliance, they were to come between 1 and 4pm, and didn't even call to cancel / reschedule until 4:30.... and yep, you guessed it, had to wait another week! I feel that since I paid for the extended warranty, I essentially paid for service, so in the future I will seriously consider buying from somewhere else and just putting that money toward paying a local appliance repair service, which usually responds within 24 hours.
