Recent Review: Fine, fast, efficient, we did have to tighten the connection later as it started leaking but since then it has been fine. We have used them in the past to replace a toilet, they had to research and find a toilet that would fit in the corner, and another time they repaired a leaking pipe inside a wall. We were pleased with both of those projects.

Recent Review: Mark is always efficient, works fast, and has all the parts in his truck that he needs (no running to the hardware store, which happens a lot if you use a handyman instead of a plumber). He has been doing plumbing work for me at my house and at a rental I have for several years. He always gives me options and leans toward repairing when possible instead of asking me to spend a lot of money replacing things. I've never had to call him back because of leaks (which happens a lot if you use a handyman instead of a plumber). Yes, he charges more than a handyman, but he gets the job done correctly and in half the time.

Recent Review: We are remodeling a small bathroom and wanted to swap the location of the vanity and toilet. The home was plumbed with galvanized steel lines making it difficult to simply move pipes around. Kent's plumbing provided a reasonable estimate for all the work needed and suggested other items that would make sense to address at the same time. The full scope of the work was: Set the tub in a mortar bed and installed tub drain. Replace all the water lines in the wall; this included the tub shower lines (and valve), the toilet line, the vanity hot/cold lines and the kitchen hot/cold lines. Reroute drain vent pipe for toilet, vanity and kitchen sink. Install new water line to kitchen for fridge icemaker. Replace water lines to hot water heater. Replace some of the steel lines under the house with new pex lines. It should be noted that this was all rough in work, not finish work. All work was done on-time and on-budget. Kent's Plumbing worked with us, described what would be done and provided options when appropriate.

DEarl's Performance Plumbing
We called Earl's plumbering because we had a leaky toilet, The guy showed up an hour late and when he did I showwed him the toilet and told him that I thought it was jst the wax gasket that needed replacing which means just removing 4 bolt nuts lifting off the toilet, remvong the old wax gasket and replacing it with the new one then putting the toilet back on and tighten up the 4 bolt nuts. after I showed him the toilet I took him in the garage and showed him the hot weater heater and asked him how much would it cost to cut out the current filter and put in new one and that is when the sticker shock hit, he quoted me first on the toilet at $202 plus the wax gasket and $475 on the filter for the water heater, I told him how could he charge $202 to remove 4 nuts and replace the gasket and that I could but the filter at Lowes for $86 and that all was needed to be done was cut 2 copper pipes replace the filter and soder the 2 cuts, I asked what cost was $475 for and he stated the filter and the labor. i thought both quotes were off the chart horrinle and told the guy sorry bit was not interested. I would not recommend this company.

AEarl's Performance Plumbing
I called Earl's at noon the day before Thanksgiving, and they were able to send me a plumber within a few hours.  They were very professional and friendly.  Steve at the office called and let me know that Brian the plumber was on his way.  I was really happy that the plumber put on booties (shoe covers) without me having to request it, and even wore them the right way--taking them off every time he went outside.  The whole process took about a half hour, and went great.  I picked Earl's because they had the most positive reviews here, and Angie's list gave me a $25 off coupon, which was awesome!  I expected a big expensive hassle, so I was very pleased that Earl's took care of me so well and without breaking my bank!

The serviceman arrived promptly and was able to replace the water heater in a timely manner.  The company also does sewer hookups so I signed a service agreement which should result in a substantial discount when that work is done.

CEarl's Performance Plumbing
Took a long time as the plumber did not have the right parts and had to go out for them - took an hour. Worse, though, is the price. Earl's used to be time and materials, now the plumber looks through his book for the job price and quotes really high prices. Then tries to sell a service plan, which will lower the job prices, but the service plan is $99. After he fixed the sink and toilet, I asked him to do one more simple job - tighten a fitting. He wanted to go through his book and give me a quote. I said I paid enough already, just do this for me. He finally did - took about 20 seconds.
