I scheduled the appointment through Sears and received 2 confirmation texts for the appointment on 11/12/20 between 8am and noon. I started calling Sears at noon to find out what happened. After being on hold for over an hour, I was connected with someone who told me that I had to call the contractor myself to find out what happened, which I did. When Val picked up the phone, he did not identify himself or his business, he just said "Hello"! I replied with "Is this Mountain Air"? He said yes, I asked his name and told him that I had been waiting on someone from his company since 8am. He was very nonchalant and told me that he had cancelled my appointment because he was not available. Obviously, he made no attempt to contact me about the change. I rescheduled my day to accommodate this appointment and that was time wasted....over 5 hours dealing with this nonsense! I will be contacting Sears to get a refund for the protection plan and I WILL NEVER SUPPORT THIS UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS!

I needed the job done quickly, as I was in a bind with new county codes and regulations for outside venting for gas appliances, and before a new kitchen was to installed the next week. I sent the measurements and diagram for the new kitchen to the owner on Friday evening, and he was at my door on Monday. I have used this company for my A/C for a few years now, so I knew that I would get professional service, and I did. Reliable beat two other bids by a lot. The job was done quickly and looked great. The owner did the job himself, and I really enjoyed talking with him. You could not ask for better service from such nice people that own and work for this company. It reminds me of the old days, when people did high-quality work, on time, and without trying to rip you off. These people are great.

We had been planning this project for several years.   Once we decided to move forward, we contacted a number of contractors for estimates.  We met with Lou to go over the project, and appreciated his ability to offer solutions to some of the obstacles to our project and to answer all of our questions. Jann, the business manager, also met with us to offer design ideas and to review the contract and answer our questions.  We provided her with the product information we had researched for our project and she ordered the cabinets, countertop, backsplash tiles, range hood, sinks, faucets, garbage disposal, and windows. Throughout the project Lou and Jann were mindful of our budget and helped keep us on track. Any changes from the original scope of the project were handled by work orders. We were impressed that both Lou and his helper were on time every day, took a short lunch break and got right back to work.   When necessary, Lou worked over the weekend (the backsplash installation required 3 days for the grout to set and dry). When the counter and floor were being installed, Lou checked in with the installers, and then worked at another jobsite, being available by phone if needed.  He then inspected the work when it was completed. Before starting work each morning, Lou checked in with us and addressed any questions/concerns we had.  If we were not satisfied with something, he re-did it to our satisfaction (for example, the paint that was initially used on the trim needed to be changed to semi-gloss) Lou made sure that the project stayed on schedule so that the floors and counters could be installed on schedule. As long time do-it-yourselfers, we were a little nervous hiring someone we did not know to be in our home every day for the duration of the project.  We found Lou is trustworthy with good people skills. He handled everything concerning the project thereby minimizing our worries and concerns. He was the perfect contractor for us. Lou is knowledgeable, skilled and focused.  He is detail oriented and addressed all our concerns with his great attitude.  During the time he worked for us we developed a good relationship and plan other projects in the future.

When I called, the lady I spoke to was very nice and accommodating. I asked for someone to change my evaporative cooler pad. I also asked about the possibility of an estimate to install a new A/C system. It was the owner who actually came out, because he was very knowledgeable about the type of A/C system with which I might want to replace the old one. First, he gave me all of the information I needed to know about a new installation. Then he gave me an idea of what it might cost. His estimate was in the and quot;very reasonableand quot; range, compared to all of the other installers I talked to. Lastly, he replaced my evaporative cooler pad, found another problem that my old A/C service provider missed, fixed the problem, then charged only what I was originally quoted. The cost was also in the very reasonable range. I only had to pay separately for the A/C pad, which was also more reasonable than anywhere else. I would tell anyone to call this company first. Highly recommended.

It was very easy to make appointments in a timely manner. I had a minor issue with the scheduling for an appraisal due to the holidays, but they were willing to give me a broad price range to start. When they came out for repairs they were fair and adjusted the price accordingly, which I greatly appreciated. The worker was punctual, nice, helpful, professional, and did what was required for the job (not claiming that we would need more than we did). I would highly recommend this company for any home repairs!

I've been meaning to give Nathan Miller a fabulous review for many months now.  Last fall my heating system stopped working.  I was in the middle of leaving town to care for my ill niece, but had to get the heating up and running before I left.  Two other companies gave me bids for new furnaces that ranged from $6,000 to about $9,000.  Nathan showed up and said that he could bid a new furnace at a price considerably lower than the others or he could just change out the $40 part.  I opted for the part and the furnace worked faithfully for the last nine months while I was away most of the time.  Now that I'm back I will be looking to replace the furnace soon and there is no one else I'd call.

FAirstream Heating & Air Inc
I tried to call Airstream at their office and my call was forwarded to another number. The number rang two times and proceeded to the answering service which stated the mailbox was full. I needed an emergency service call to have my air-conditioning unit fixed which had stop working. Airstream states that they provide 24 hour service, obviously NOT. Airstream had provided service for me in the past but my wife and I have decided to go with another service provider that answers their telephone.
