Recent Review: The electrician (not the owner) worked about 5 hours. Parts were pricey. I had purchased quality, quiet exhaust fan units for both bathrooms but he discouraged me from installing them giving vague reasons. It seemed more like he didn't want to go through the trouble of installing them. The quality of the work done seemed fine but I found the company to be rather expensive and there was nothing that made this company particularly impressive compared to other electrician outfits.

Recent Review: The work went well.  Antonio and Javier worked through the morning and afternoon and  finished the job in a day.  I was impressed with the quality of work, their problem solving skills, and the diligence and attention to detail that they showed. They replaced one ceiling fan and installed a new remote and installed another ceiling fan with remote in a room that had no ceiling fan.  They replaced several bad receptacles.  In the bathrooms they removed the old exhaust fans and installed new ones as well as new switches that control only the fans. They repaired our whole house fan and added a wall switch.  They installed two powerful LED security lights outside our barn and pump house.

Recent Review: Mike shows up on time as scheduled.  His truck was fully equipped with electrical parts and tools to support work activity.  Mike thoughtfully listened to what we wanted during an initial inspection and offered good suggestions on how to accomplish the project. When Mike returned to perform the work he brought along all appropriate parts and materials for the job.  He worked carefully and effectively completed the project on schedule, he even cleaned up the area when finished.  Overall, Mike was courteous and professional in both his communication and the electrical contracting work provided.   We would not hesitate to utilize his services again, Mike really knows what he's doing when it comes to electrical systems.

AAC REMODELING
Recent Review: This was a terrific experience. Alain (pronounced and quot;Alanand quot;) is a small contractor, he's fully licensed, and he is a straight shooter. He does what he says he will do and if there is a problem, he is right there to work it out for you. And you won't get a better price. We hired Alain (Acosta) after he and his crew had finished our neighbor's basement. I was sold on hiring him even before seeing my neighbor's basement, because of the numerous evenings I would pull in my driveway at 7- 7:30PM and his truck was still parked in front of their house. I have never seen a guy (and crew) work like these guys do. It was the same on our basement. Once we had the inspection approved to do the drywall, Alain's guys hit the ground the next morning and got 90% done in one day, then came over the next day (Saturday) and finished it up. We had the same kind of experience with his tile guys, his electricians (who installed a new sub panel in the basement and replaced our old main panel in the garage. Every team that showed up, worked like mad for long days and stayed until it was done. I could not be more pleased. The only delays in the job progress were my fault... either related to us not having design decisions made or in a couple of inspection delays caused by my selecting the wrong shower fixtures. I could go on and on.. we had him install two egress windows in the basement (which is almost all underground), actually we did one last year and the other as a part of this basement remodel. In one day, he and his guys dug to the footing on the outside, then cut a 3ft by 5ft hole in the poured concrete foundation, installed a pre-formed window well, installed and sealed the new basement window and back filled the window well. AND.. they took the dirt that was left over and wheeled it out to the corner of the property, dumped it and then graded it over by hand so it was almost ready for planting......amazing. While this is the biggest job we have contracted him to do, we have used AAC a couple of other times; to do repairs in our upstairs bath and install an exhaust fan. And he remodeled our first floor powder room last year. Oh.. .and here is a story that tells you a lot about him At the same time he was working on our powder room, we had contracted with a landscape contractor to replace our front steps and sidewalk with pavers. When they tore out the old steps, they found rot in the sill plate that was behind the steps. They told my wife that we should get that fixed before they came back to install the new steps. Alain overheard the conversation and told my wife he would fix it for her if she wanted, I don't recall how much he wanted, but it wasn't much - couple of hundred maybe - . But that same day he went to Lowes, bought the lumber and then cut out the rotted section of sill plate from the inside, down in the basement, and replaced the rotten sections and sealed it all up. That is Alain, he is a and quot;can doand quot; kinda guy and is a delight to work with. I will tell you this, he is the Saunders' and quot;go-toand quot; contractor from here on out, I'm not looking anywhere else. I highly recommend him - Bob Saunders

FWYGANT ELECTRIC
I contacted Old Republic to have warranty work done on my attic fan. I was told that I would be contacted within 2-3 days. When the time went by, I received no response, and left my first message for Wygant to call me back. I waited a week, and left my second message. This included my address, name and phone number. Another week goes by, and I still haven't heard from them. I left a third message, and then called Old Republic. I was told by Old Republic that they were able to get ahold of them, and that they would contact me by end of day. I waited until the next day, and tried to call Wygant one last time. I was actually able to speak to a person. She blamed Old Republic, and claimed that she never received my contact information, ( apparently thinking that I would forget that I had left my information multiple times) and an appointment was set for two weeks later. It has now been two weeks, and the company has, once again, failed to contact me, and has failed to make their scheduled appointment. This is, without a doubt, one of the most dis-organized companies that I have ever had the mid-fortune to deal with.

Ceiling fan is well positioned and sturdy. Bathroom exhaust fan was installed exactly where we wanted it and works great. C&C found the connection to the outdoor lake lights, repositioned the switch through the wall about 100 feet and installed a switch. We've had the house for over a year and the light have never worked. Installed several GFCI connections and repositioned switches that violated code - made the house safe while they kept us informed on their progress. They stayed within their estimate and finished within two days. We are very satisfied with the work accomplished and plan to use their services again in the future.

FValley Energy, Inc.
I am not at all satisfied with the electrical work and WOULD NOT recommend Valley Energy, Inc. The owner's electrical expertise is not commensurate with his billing rate per hour. After two trips to my house , not showing up at the scheduled times, my issues were not solved. I ended up having to cancel the project due to incompetent and incomplete work. He basically accomplished nothing and overcharged me for an extra hour that he was not on site. Overall, the experience was unprofessional and very disappointing. Response to: Response by Valley Energy, Inc.: The statements made by Valley Energy, Inc. are chronologically and factually false. My expectations were clear from the very beginning. I expected 4 simple electrical tasks to be completed professionally and efficiently. Explicitly, I requested 2 exhaust fans to be removed and replaced with my newly purchased fans, and I asked that 2 fluorescent light fixtures to be made operable. After two days, that did not happen. On the first visit to my house, nothing was accomplished other than the technician created an additional problem when a exhaust fan was removed. A spark was created causing a GFI outlet to malfunction, which then needed to be removed and replaced. With nothing completed, I now had five issues. The second visit to my house proved to be much of the same incomplete and incompetent work. One light fixture was fixed but the other four issues were still unresolved in spite of the technician reading directions and not knowing how to properly install a fan. When I observed the technician taking phone calls while on the job, I recognized he was unprofessional. With two days’ work and very little to show for it, I clearly knew that the technician didn’t know what he was doing. At that point, I decided to cancel further work. At no time was I ever satisfied with the work being done or the lack thereof. The technician was on site less than four hours, yet I received an invoice for five hours. I wasn’t looking for, or never asked for, a discount. I only wanted the invoice to reflect the actual time spent on site, and not an inflated overcharge. While making reference to my documentation, Valley Energy, Inc. immediately re-invoiced me with the correct hours. The education that I received was that it really shouldn’t require four hours to fix one light fixture! I will be crystal clear. I am unhappy with the incomplete and incompetent work done by Valley Energy, Inc., and at no time during the process was I happy. At best, I was tolerant. Let me reiterate; I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Valley Energy, Inc. for any electrical projects.
