The two painters arrived late because of traffic (always a problem in L.A.!) They had roller brushes but not other brushes, which I provided. I've never had painters come without brushes. I provided paint, drop cloths, and tape, but shouldn't have had to provide paint brushes! The two painters got the job done in 4 hours, and it was good for the most part. But after they left, and I was moving furniture back, I noticed that they had put 3 switchplates back on, but they were still the old wall color! The old walls were pale pink and the new color is a strong beige, so the switchplates were glaringly wrong. So I had to take out the paint and paintbrush to touch up the switchplates. Not an exhausting endeavor by any means, but definitely something I shouldn't have had to do. A few hours later, Jesus, the supervisor (?) came by to see the work. I showed him what I had to do, and he didn't seem all that concerned, but that he would talk to the painters. Oh well. The room looks great with the new color.
