Recent Review: There was a place in the back where water was draining towards the house so they put a concrete there with a drain. At first, they told me it was a long drain and it will cost me a little more. They just put one single drain there and on the side of the house, they put a drain that went way out the flood and ended up at the wall just before the sidewalk. One thing that I wasn't just happy about was that we decided to change from a long drain to just a single drain then it saved me money so that was good and I'm not sure if the drain greatly clears out to the curve. I think it drained just before the sidewalk and that was change that I was not happy. I thought it would be better if the water go out in the street than drain along to the sidewalk in case somebody slip on that water along the sidewalk but of course, there's not too many people walk in it. The whole sidewalk is wet when it rains anyway.

Recent Review: Things went very well on both jobs. Mike came over just after I called to give me an estimate, and his men were at work at 7:30 the next morning on the front walk, That whole job was completed just after 1 PM the same day, and it looks great. They gave it an anti-slip surface which the former sidewalk lacked, and sectioned it rather than having it in one piece like the old one. They came again the following Tuesday to trim the trees, which they accomplished with similiar very satisfactory results in several hours. I would say I am 100 percent satisfied with GREEN AND CLEAN, and would recomment this company very highly to anyone in need of their many services.

Recent Review: Larry came to do the bid and provided a cost of $1,078 to do the work including materials and labor.  On the day he arrived with his two helpers to do the work, he took back the bid he provided for me, wrote the word 'estimate' on the top, and then provided me with a new cost of $1,492.  He did this after his guys had already torn up the old small footstep in my yard and started laying the form for the concrete, not before he began work.  I was able to negotiate him down to $1,400 but we were still out an additional $322 more than we planned.  When his guys came in to replace the wax rings, they cracked one of the toilets and water leaked everywhere.  We had to call Larry about the damage and he showed up with a replacement toilet that was much smaller and cheaper than our toilet.  We felt put on the spot that we weren't allowed to pick out the replacement toilet to get close to matching the other fixtures in our house like our old toilet did.  On the day that the concrete was to be poured, Larry had to completely rebuild the form his guys had built because it was all wrong.  The slab we ended up with is absolutely inferior in quality and workmanship.  Larry did not tamp down the concrete so you can see huge air gaps from the side.  The surface is bumpy and pitted, the edging is jagged and broken off in places, and the cuts designed for cracks are jagged, poorly formed, shallow and deep in different places, and do not run all the way to the edges of the concrete.  The pattern in the surface is irregular and in one place Larry applied a bad patch where the concrete broke off when he removed the form!  Concrete is all over the side of my house and the garage side door.  We asked them to leave without completing all the work and offered them $1,000 instead of the $1,400..  In summary, Larry does not listen closely to what you are describing and he is always worried about going too quickly in order to get to the next job.  He cuts corners in order to finish fast and this is why he makes big mistakes.

These guys must have gone out of business. I made four phones calls over a few weeks and left messages each time, but none were returned. I've used these guys before and everything went pretty well, but it seems they either don't care about their customers anymore or, as I said, they've gone out of business.

Rick showed up on time to give me an estimate, and actually began the work sooner than we had planned due a postponement of one of his other jobs. When the old concrete was removed, we expected to find the damage had been caused by a tree root. Unfortunately, we found that we had had a water leak near our water meter. Rick called me at work, explained the situation, and offered to call a plumber. The plumber came out right away and fixed the problem for a reasonable price.

Rick and his crew did a phenomenal job. They were extremely professional and the results exceeded our expectations. They did an amazing/high quality job in what I believe was a short amount of time for all they had to do (3 days). Rick is a very nice guy, who is very knowledgeable in a variety of areas and can make excellent referrals for other jobs that you many need done.

Bought brand new construction home. The following work was done: Note: First I didn't select Rick for the job because he gave me the cheapest quote; it the mid price. I like Rick from the get-go because he has been business for a long time and his professionalism just came across comfortably. Work performed: 1. Poured cement about 4' wide sidewalks around the house, sides and backyard. What I liked about Rick and his team during the phase: -Offered ideas and suggestions; very professional and project went smooth. NO headaches! That's a big plus! -Re-routed drain spout, sprinklers, and turf as necessary -Changed out drain cap so it was flush with side walk so my kids could ride their tricycles; big plus. -No cement splash on walls ***Note that these were not spelled out in contract but Rick and his crew were professional enough to go the extra mile. This is important to note b/c my neighbor went with the lowest price and how he is trying to figure out how to get the drain spout that is now buried underneath the cement...somewhere! There is certainly a huge quality in workman ship. 2. Custom front courtyard: poured cement and stone mansonry work. What I liked about Rick and his team during this phase: -Professional guidance: took the time to meet my wife and I at Clovis stone to make sure the stones on the house and courtyard matched. This was important because even the builder didn't even know where to refer us to purchase the stones. -Took time to educate us in the process -re-routed drain conduit *Word of advice* - if you plan on a custom courtyard, make sure to pick out the stones and edges in advanced; takes up 2 weeks or longer to process. This was our fault because we initially wanted something pre-cast. Project delayed 2 weeks. - the stonework is amazing; even the builder is impressed and asked for his contact. Neighbors have stopped by to get his info. 3. Pour 3-tier steps leading to courtyard. -Great idea and suggestions again. 4. Lay pebble rocks on side of house between fence and sidewalks -Another great idea. looks beautiful. -Word of advice: if you plan to do this, re-enforce your fence first; after a year, the bottom of the fence is starting to bevel.
