Recent Review: Since we don't live on the property permanently, we needed this job done on a weekend. Bell's was very responsive and accommodating, scheduling us on the following weekend from our call. Our person arrived a couple of hours late, but was very professional and nice. The job ended up hitting a couple of snags, which caused it to run many hours longer than expected. They did a good job working thru the problem. The reason for the B grade is two folks: 1) even though the work was finally done, it went very slowly, which was painful given the steep weekend hourly rate (which was previously communicated to us), and 2) part of the slowdown was because of our guy's unfamiliarity with our faucet, and even though we pointed out the instructions that came with it, he insisted on figuring it out on his own, which he didn't quite ever get.

Recent Review: Ron  was punctual and prepared with an array of plumbing items.  We supplied the new faucets but he did a terrific job on a challenging install.  I would certainly call him again, as he addressed all of our requests and was very professional.

Recent Review: This is the third project that Joe has done. When he is working and see something that is wrong or off, he will correct it, even if he did not initially do the job. This happened when he installed new faucets. The person before him had installed wrong which caused a leak under neath. The current job was done well. He even went back to hardware store to purchase a secure lock for side garage door so that all keys would match because I decided that I wanted a new door on the side; so he will be back in a week to install it.

Recent Review: He came out last Friday to install the faucet, but they did not have one that I needed locally. So over the weekend Jim and his wife went to another town and bought the new faucet then came yesterday and installed it. He also installed new handles in the shower and put on some new washers in a couple of other faucets around the house. I have been using Jim and Berkson Plumbing for over 25 years. He is the first guy I call when I need a plumber. I also recommend him to new neighbors.

Recent Review: I joined AngiesList on a Friday. I reviewed plumbers in my area and chose to call Village Handyman because he was a licensed general contractor and said he could do plumbing and electrical. I need both services, but started with the small plumbing jobs. I called him on Friday, he returned my call within a few hours, he said he was busy the whole next week, but could come out on Sunday (in two days!) to do this smaller job if that was OK. After I told him about the job, he quoted a price . He arrived on time, he is polite, neat, cleaned as he went, made a trip to the hardware store to buy the correct insides for the faucets, completed the whole work within a few hours.  The bill was exactly as he had quoted to me. I liked his personality and his tidy work, and I showed him the electrical work that needs to be done next, and he said he could do that as well, and will call to schedule that work. I am very happy with Bill Garrett, the Village Handyman. I have already given his card to neighbors in my condo community.

Recent Review: Mr. Hamlin arrived as scheduled right on time. He carefully assessed what had to be done in the removal of the old faucets and the shutoff valves. The kitchen faucet replacement went very well and quite easily. The bathroom faucet replacement was another story. He spent quite a bit of effort removing the old bathroom faucet due to rust and corrosion. Once removed he very professionnally installed the new faucet, shutoff valve and supply lines. He cleaned up everything and removed all the waste without a problem. I had him help us more a month later on 4/11/12 to take care of what appeared to be a toilet leak through the wax ring. He arrived right on time and certified that there was some leakage. He installed an upgraded wax ring and re-installed the toilet. All his work is superb, honest, and with an upbeat personality.

AMorro Bay Plumbing
Morro Bay Plumbing was efficient, courteous, and very professional.  They carried on their truck a variety of kitchen faucets for me to choose from, and that made the service all go that much more quickly.  They cleaned up after the installation, and  except for the new faucet you couldn't tell they'd been there.  The cost was reasonable, the quality of the work was excellent.  I highly recommend Morro Bay Plumbing.

DCurt's Plumbing & Heating Repair
First, I will say that Curts was very responsive to my service call and arrived exactly when they said they would. Beyond that, my experience has not been good. The first plumber they sent out to change out a kitchen faucet was a very pleasant, friendly guy who assured me that he could handle the job and even offered to do some research on an additional part that he thought I would need. He also notified me that there were no angle stops installed for the faucet and he recommended that I have them installed. I agreed. He completed the faucet installation quickly but soon after he left I discovered that the faucet was leaking around the spout. I called him to inform him of the leak and he came back the next day and tightened the fixture and stopped the leak. The next day I noticed that the faucet handles were very loose and one came off in my hand. The leak had returned but much smaller than before and there were a lot of scratches on the faucet from where the plumber had tightened the fixture. When I called Curts to arrange for the installation of the angle stops, I asked that they send another plumber because I was not pleased with the quality of the work of the first guy and informed them of the continuing problems with the faucet installation. They sent someone very quickly named John and he arrived on time. I showed him the leak on the faucet and the loose handles and he told me that it was because of hard water building up around the connection. He also said that he could not install angle stops under the sink because it would require tearing the outside wall out because it was an old house with a wall-mount faucet and that's the way they were constructed. When I informed him that it was brand new construction and the faucet was also new so it could not have hard water build up in just three days, he said, "well tell your builder to get a carpenter because I can't do that kind of work." He made no attempt to address the loose faucet handles or correct the leak, he just said "have a good day" and left. He was here all of about five minutes. Maybe he was having a bad day but I wouldn't hire Curts Plumbing again for any reason.

AH & H PLUMBING
It was good. I spent less than $400. They were good and I got my money's worth for the job. They were very courteous, we encountered some difficulties and we worked through them an they didn't charge me more than what was expected. They came in and gave me an estimate in the beginning then they encountered problems but they still stuck to the price. They checked a few other things around the house. The plumber I had before told me I needed a new faucet in my garage and this plumber said there's nothing wrong with it and it doesn't leak, which was good. Then my water softeners needed to be replaced and what he quoted me was a bit high so I didn't replace them yet so I'm just shopping around now.

AJerry's Plumbing & Heating
Everything was great. He was very clean, worked around the kids and answered questions as they came up. He replaced the faucet and the two water valves underneath the sink, put everything back where it belonged and also fixed another issue in another bathroom. The priced I thought was more then fair, especially considering he had to burn off two nuts to get the valves off. I will use "Jerry's Plumbing" in the future, highly recommend them and was very happy with attitude of John, who did the repairs.
