PREMIER PLUMBING & ROOTER SERVICES
Recent Review: I called them to fix ailing sump pump, which they did. While he was at the house, I asked him about installing a tankless water heater. He gave me a bid, set an appointment to do the work, and did not charge me for the service call on the sump pump (which was a minor fix-it).

Recent Review: Dave went into the sump pump chamber and diagnosed the problem quickly. He knew exactly how to adjust the floats so that the pump would run without causing the alarm float to sound the alarm. This is a job that needs an experienced professional, and Dave fits that description.

Recent Review: I have never felt compelled to write a review until now.  Sewage ejection tank had overflowed into the backyard.  Sump pump circuit breaker tripped.  Domco sent Gil to clean tank so we could determine the condition of the sump pump.  He arrived within 30min and after listening to my description of the problem got right to work.  He took a little longer to clean the tank since he also removed several roots in the tank from a nearby tree and a large bush saving some samples in case the pump plumber needed them.  He even cleaned up some dog waste around the area.  Gil then called in a description of the pump which was still not working.  Domco sent for pump tech Duane to evaluate the pump and to give an estimate - he arrived within 45 min of the call.  Duane was briefed by Gil examined the pump and determined the 10yr old pump just finally failed.  He quickly got an estimate and after my approval both Duane and Gil went right to work to replace the sump pump.  Duane dived into the tank during the install completely cleaning it free of remaining roots inaccessible during the cleanout.  He also did additional cleaning of the conduit to the electrical circuits which had gotten wet due to the previous float being improperly set and allowing seepage into the circuit boxes from underground.  He did his final tests and from my first call to final paperwork it was less than 4hrs!  While very few plumbing jobs are inexpensive, I really felt I got good value today between the prompt, courteous and PROFESSIONAL service and the Angie's coupon.  I don't know if Gil and Duane are typical of the technicians at Domco, but I would definitely hire these guys again!

Syntrol Plumbing Electrical Heating & Air
Recent Review: A sump pump had stopped working and we called Syntrol on a Wednesday in the afternoon.  They are extremely professional and they said they would send a plumber the next day and gave us a 3 hour time window.  He showed up the next day within that time window and fixed the issue within 2 hours. Clean up was done perfectly.  There just aren't enough professional "terms" I could use to describe them.  I will use them again and I highly recommend them.

Affordable Trenchless & Pipe Lining Inc
Recent Review: Ryan had performed diagnostic exam (fiberoptic camera) of home we bought several months ago (built 1970 ish). He and helper put in trenchless new sewer line from house to street. The realtor we use (Carole Goodin) uses his services extensively in her business, so we contacted him after consulting Bonney plumbing (large bill for less than diagnostic service). He came out to our home the next day, examined the system, cut a hole in drainage pipe, ran a camera and found the problem (several feet of soil/silt/mud clogging exit pipe which terminated a foot underground, rather than daylighting). The problem is fixed by them the following day by clearing and extending the drainage pipe with appropriate use of sloping pipe depth and bringing the end of the pipe to surface.

JRW Plumbing
Recent Review: In midst of storm, discovered the basement in my new home was taking on water.  Source was poorly placed gutter runoff.  JRW was at my home within 30 minutes, installed temporary sump pump, diagnosed problem, went to hardware store to purchase supplies, installed water diversion to prevent further flooding.  He couldn't have been nicer or more responsive, didn't gouge me, and went well above and beyond in helping me out and calming me down and fixing the problem.  I just can't say enough about how great his service was and will use him again and again and again!!!!

AArmstrong Plumbing
I got them through Angie’s List. They were a good group. All of the plumbing that they did for me was $1800. It was a major job to install the sump pumps. They were great and very professional. They gave me an estimate and that’s what it cost. It didn’t cost anything more than what they had estimated. They went out of their way to do the work like I wanted and even better. They had good ideas for how to hook things up. I was very pleased with their work. They did quality work. Everything they did was up to code and well appreciated. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

AArmstrong Plumbing
We had a severely clogged kitchen drain. We tried resolving the problem ourselves by plunging, snaking, and eventually using Drano. Nothing worked and, after two failed Drano treatments, we finally decided to cave in and pay a professional. We visited Angie's list and picked 3 companies. I called Armstrong and asked for a rough estimate on what it might cost to get the kitchen drain cleared and look into an issue we were having with our sump pump. I was hesitant to mention the water hammer problem in the bathroom because I simply didn't want to spend more money and, frankly, thought it was something I could take care of, but I discussed it anyway. I'm glad I did. More on that later. The estimator was very professional, asked good pertinent questions (such as the condition of our pipes, etc) and provided a range between $90 and $135. I decided to schedule an appointment and was transferred to the appt scheduler. My phone disconnected but I called back and, by that time, the scheduler had already received my paperwork from the estimator and knew exactly what my situation was. The entire operation seemed very efficient and professional unlike most of my dealings with service companies and contractors (stories for another day). I called the other 2 higly rated companies just for comparison. One said that they may need to refer me to another company for the sump pump problem. The other company had a very gruff person answering the phone who was very short with me. So these 2 were very easy to dismiss. On the day of our scheduled service (next day), Peter called stating that he'd finished his morning job earlier than expected and was wondering if he could swing by early, which wasn't a problem with us. Peter was very professional and polite. Cleared the kitchen clog easily by snaking from the outdoor kitchen cleanout. Tested our sump pump and found an obstruction (I looked down there before - not sure how I didn't catch this). The water hammer problem had a simple solution as well. I was glad we had them look into it as I would have taken apart the faucet to look for an obstruction and wasted a bunch of my time when it took him just a minute. Overall, very good and professional service from start to finish. They run an excellent operation and we've definitely found our new plumbers. NOTE: The price I quoted above was with Angie's 10% discount.

AArmstrong Plumbing
We previously had someone out to check the drainage system & he said to call a plumber so we called Armstrongs based on their high reviews. The sump pump is in an underground hole & the line leading from it to the lines in the yard that collect water was totally occluded. Pete came & took a snake to it. He said that he found a lot of roots & it actually broke his line. So in the end, we need to have that line replaced, which we haven't done yet. Pete was scheduled to come between 11 & 1 p.m. He was very professional. He called a few minutes before 11 & said that he would not be there @ 11 a.m. but a little later & then he called about 12 to say he would be there in 20 minutes. I really appreciated his consideration because then I didn't have to put my life on hold waiting for him. I knew when he wasn't coming so I could proceed with some things that I wanted to get done. I knew when he was coming so I could be finished with what I was doing in time. I thought his approach to this was just great.  He worked hard while he was here. He explained what he was going to do & then did it. I trusted him. He seemed very knowledgeable & willing to explain without  overdoing any of it. I trusted his experience. He was very polite, respectful of closing gates when he left, and cleaning up any dirt he left. Overall, a great experience. I would use them again. The price was after an Angie's list coupon deduction.
