Recent Review: It went great!! Harry Wheeler is amazing! I needed this done as soon as possible when I contacted him and he made it happen. I needed these repairs done to sell my home and he came through for me. The price was more than I had anticipated, but the service he provided was well worth the price.

Recent Review: We had an above average amount of rainfall. Weather service put out flood warnings. I found a LOT of water in my crawl space. It worried me so I phoned 7 different Portland area contractors at 8AM the next day. One of them was Marc from Masonry Waterproofing. He was attentive over the phone and told me that he would try to stop in today if he got a chance. At about 1PM he phoned me to let me know that he could be at my place in 10 minutes. Once he showed up, he checked out the situation and told me not to worry. He told me that the water was finding its way out and that it was OK. I appreciated his lack of sales pressure: he told me no work was needed. I also really appreciated that he was there the same day despite the fact that it's a super busy time for drainage pros in Portland this time of the year, esp. after the heavy rains.

A+ professionals before during and after. Marc was able to quickly assess WHY we continued to have water intrusion in our basement area and provide the solutions to make it STOP, once and for all. As stated earlier, we had already paid local contractors to seal the basement and had even had them back out to ?fix? their work several times, they just continued to apply an ineffective product and assure us this time they had ?fixed? it. The experience with Masonry Waterproofing & Drainage Masters LLC (Marc and crew) was just the opposite, not only did they know WHAT needed to be done, they worked quickly and efficiently to repair what had been previously done and provided real solutions under a tight deadline. We had renters arriving just two weeks. In summary: don?t hesitate to call Marc, we?ve hired many contractors, some of which shouldn't be allowed to practice business. He is the just the kind of service professional we all want to do business with, knowledgeable, professional, on schedule and no fluff. We had been told the solution to our issues would run in the 10's of thousands of dollars, Marc was able to provide just waht we needed for a fraction of that. The real proof: NO more wet basement once the work was completed and the re-done basement and outside concrete repair look fantastic. That was 4 months ago. These guys are our hero?s. As a follow-up, we hired Masonry Waterproofing & Drainage Masters LLC to address water intrusion in the crawl space of our primary home just 3 months after completion of the above mentioned job, same experience, no more water and outstanding job. ;- )

AJeffery Construction & Building Inspection
He always came when he said he was going to come. He always came fully prepared and ready to work. He repaired one wall of the outbuilding quickly, and the repair is indistinguishable from the original walls. He rebuilt the floor of the outbuilding and now it is sturdy and dry and the door can be closed securely. He found some fungus damage where the wood was rotted under a crawl space that the pest inspector failed to find. The wood was rotted to the point of falling apart. He replaced the damaged supports and beams, and insulated so that the floor above wouldn't be cold. During his initial home inspection. Mr. Jeffery noted that the electrical panel for the house was one that is no longer UL certified. He urged us to have it inspected by a licensed electrician. The seller agreed to do this and reported back to us that it had passed. At the time we didn't know enough to require documentation from the electrician. After we had purchased the house, he still urged us to have someone look at the panel. The electrician that we hired found that one of the main bars in the panel had melted in two places. The electrician also found that the system was not grounded properly. We are very glad that we followed Mr. Jeffery's advice. He left the workspace neat and organized from the time he left until he returned the next day to work. Mr. Jeffery was capable and dependable in every way on the work he did for us. However, his main strength is as a home inspector. He is thorough and meticulous. He found for us a number of hidden issues that needed to be addressed. If you are ever considering purchasing a home in the Nevada City, Grass Valley area, you won't find a better home inspector than Frazier Jeffery.
