iIt wasn't that great of an experience to be honest. Not only was the provider rude, but he even seemed disinterested in doing the work or looking at our home inspection report which detailed a lot of the issues we needed to be fixed (1,3,5) in services requested above. He looked at our master bathroom, said it wasn't 5 feet wide and by code we can't have a shower in there. However, he didn't even measure, which is something every other contractor who looked at it has done, and every other contractor said it was no problem, not to mention every bathroom I have used with a shower only is rarely 5 feet wide, if it was that big there would be a bathtub in there. Next we took him to our sink which needed 1 hose tightened, according to him, when actually the leak is coming from above the fasten point, which means the hose either needs to be crimped or replaced. Either way, he wanted to charge $150 to tighten one side of a hose and he wanted to do it now, instead of bid, we respectfully declined this price offer. We then took him to the water heater which he said was strapped fine, which is not what the home inspector said, he wanted $130 for the 3 screws, and after that we didn't even ask for any more bids and asked him to leave. If he had performed the services and actually charged us those amounts for an and quot;emergency visitand quot; as he called it, because our original call we did not mention the minor problems just the major bathroom, I would have given him an F for his awful pricing strategy, I felt as if he was trying to take advantage of my fiance because she was a woman, although this is a feeling not backed by any facts besides $280 to turn a wrench 3 times and screw in 3 screws. Additionally, as noted in his C grade he told us on site that he doesn't really do that kind of work, when it came to the bathroom remodel anyways, which is perplexing considering we clearly explained what we wanted done in the master bathroom, if it wasn't your field why would you even come out, or better yet, why don't you tell us to measure the width and if it's not wide enough we can save us both some time and then I'd be writing a B or C review based on honesty and integrity rather than a D, for awful pricing and not even really being interested in the main work we wanted done. By the way, the other contractors/plumbers we've received estimates from are more than happy to provide estimates that are detailed by each line item rather than offer to do work on the spot and have even been friendly enough to point out things that I can do rather than be charged for it, in some cases instructing or showing me how to do it.
