We have had a goldfish pond with a waterfall for 12yrs. The waterfall packed up a few years ago but the fish survived. Many of the rocks had fallen in over time and although there was a full clean out each fall it was beginning to look very neglected. I was so impressed with the work done by Mr. Mullins on our side yard that when he said he liked working on Koi ponds I asked how he would go about giving our pond a makeover. He tried to explain to me what it would look like and even sent pictures by e-mail but I am not very good at visualization, so it was with some trepidation that I gave him the go ahead. We cannot believe the transformation. All rocks were removed, the liner was found to be defective (replacement of the liner was not part of the original plan but Mr. Mullins said he would include a new liner in the price he quoted). The pond was widened and 2 tiers of shelves were fashioned to accommodate plants at various depths. Then the waterfall area was built up with soil that he brought in along with large amounts of rocks and boulders of all sizes. We now have a 5 tier waterfall with a cave for the goldfish. The base of the pond is covered in smooth pebbles of various colors and looks great. We had a trailing Rosemary before ...now we have two the original plant was divided and now we have one on each side. It took 3 days to complete the project. I had no idea when I asked him to perform the renovation that so much both heavy and intricate work would be involved. Everything went exactly as he had said it would. All areas around the pond were cleared and cleaned as part of the job. He told me if I have any problems in the future he will come and deal with them and I believe him. We cannot say enough in his praise. He is the best contractor we have worked with in the past 20 yrs. We were so impressed that we were happy to pay for the liner and that is why the amount paid was more than the price quoted.

ATHE POND PEOPLE
It was a bad leak. He took care of one of the fish that had a spot on it. It healed up the fish right away. He is very knowledgeable about fish ponds. Jay did the work.

They came out when they said they would and the price was exactly what he estimated. The three-man crew worked steadily for three days. The final finished product was really nice; but he was difficult to communicate with because they are really busy. A lot of projects they do are much larger than ours; ours was really a small job. Although he did not say, I kind of got the feeling that ours was a fill-in. It was really hard finding someone to do this job so I was grateful to have them do it.

Mark Dyba of complete Ponds build my original Koy pond 10 years ago and recently I decided to get rid of my fish pond and asked them to change my pond into a waterfall feature with just rocks. The end result was incredibly beautiful. The artistry they displayed in re-building my pond was amazing. Working with Cory and Mark Dyba was a great experience. They run a customer oriented business. I can call them anytime I need information and they treat me as a friend. I would highly recommend them anytime. I am a happy and satisfied customer.

ACarmody Pool SVC
The owner, Jay, promptly returned my call and arranged to come out the next day to see if he could help me fix the side of the pool that collapsed. He was right on time. The liner was old and needed replaced. He didn't try to upcharge me for anything. He explained everything I asked about. I had checked other companies as well as the DIY video on youtube to see if I wanted to try and do it myself. I'm so glad I hired him instead. Once the liner was ready to install, he and his team showed up right on time, replaced the liner, and stayed until there was sufficient water to ensure no slippage would occur. His estimate of 5 hours was right on the nose. He even called later that evening to make sure everything was ok. Turned out beautiful. I rated the price a B only because you can obtain liners for much less money. He and his team were quick, accurate, and very professional. Really appreciate their effort and we will be swimming until it's too cold to swim.

She does everything in relation to the ponds and waterfalls. She?s excellent and knows her business. She?s even done the ones at the state capitol. I?ve got about 70 - 80 fish that are different colors and bigger than your arm. She has installed some lights in the water, and is also great with aquatic plants. She comes once every three weeks to take care of it for me.

The planning, reconstruction, remodeling, and redecorating that Complete Ponds performed on our project was absolutely wonderful. From beginning through end I would give Mark and his people a 10! They are experienced, highly service-oriented, punctual, extremely reasonably priced and definitely believe in follow-up with their customers. I strongly recommend them to any acquaintance who is considering installing a new pond or needs attention to an existing pond. As a Realtor/Contractor for almost 44 years my opinion should matter to your subscribers. We are so impressed with Complete Ponds that I hope the firm will become a member of your program as the Premier Pond Installation and Maintenance Section.

Excellent workmanship, very prompt, took a while to get a scheduled date because I waited too long, will not do that in the future. Tyler and crew did an outstanding job and the pond looked great after they finished. Even saved some money and time, because I completed the fill up after they left. Would recommend the service to anyone. But, call early to get on the spring schedule.et dee

AAmerican Leak Detection - Sacramento
Had a significant leak from my pool, that losing 3-5 inches of water, daily. The leak was creating several standing water spots, which became a mosquito hazard. Although the pricing was $300 for 2 hours, the non-invasive leak detection service was invaluable. He was able to find, small, hidden hole in the liner, which was easily repaired with a patch kit. This service saved me the cost of digging up my yard to find the leak.
Recent Review: Juan Garcia was the project manager for the project and did a great job. Very personable, and professional. The pavers at our pond were breaking away and falling toward the pond. It appeared to be only time before the gap would get bigger & bigger. Juan's team demoed out the old pavers, put in a deeper foundation and replaced the new pavers tight to the rest on the patio. Very please with there work. Recommend them highly.
Recent Review: our sales manager (Peter Smith) went above and beyond to get the job done efficiently and was a great help in resolving unforeseen circumstances. highly recommend peter and will gladly use his services for future projects.
Recent Review: John arrived and first checked my home's main breaker box. He then went to the pool equipment pad and inspected the wiring of the new variable-speed pool pump and pool filter. He found that the copper ground wire was intact. He checked the new pool lights and replaced the GFI breaker for the lights at the pool pad site. He then performed a test to check for the grounding of the new metal handrail. He performed the test 2 or 3 separate times and informed me that the connection was not good. He informed me that the "handrail did not have equipotential to ground". (This was one of the MAIN REASONS I decided to have a qualified electrician check out my pool equipment. I am very safety-oriented and concerned about pool electrocutions). He explained the need for proper grounding/bonding of all pool equipment. He recommended I replace the metal handrail with a non-metallic rail that did not need grounding or bonding. After he departed, I went to the Internet and found a company called SAFTRON which manufactures pool rails and pool ladders that need no grounding or bonding. They are made of encapsulated aluminum and covered in a high-density polymer coating. I called John to see if this was the type of pool rail he was referring to in our conversation. He said it was. I ordered a new SAFTRON pool rail just like the metal rail I had installed and then I had a concrete contractor replace the metal rail with the SAFTRON rail. It looks FANTASTIC!!! I would never had known there was a grounding problem with the metal handrail had it not been for John's electrical knowledge and expertise. Thank-you, John, from the bottom of my heart!!!

Recent Review: C & R Pool Plastering, Inc was very professional, punctual and efficient. They showed up when they said they would, they informed us as to every step they were taking and they left our yard very clean afterwards. Our pool looks great, now. I would highly recommend them for re-plastering your pool.
Recent Review: Prior to contacting BJ's Pool Service, we contacted other pool repair providers. After contacting Brian from BJ's, he was willing to take a look within 24 hours and without a service fee for the visit. During the initial visit, Brian discussed our options and even took pictures of our existing pool pump/motor/system to make sure that the proposed options fit in the space of our existing system. Brian was then going to research pump/motors that would work with our current system. Within a day, Brian contacted us with various options including price quotes. We selected a variable speed pool pump/motor that Brian recommended. Comparably, the cost was about up to one-third cheaper than other quotes we received from other pool repair providers. Brian then came as scheduled to install the pump/motor and was done within a couple of hours. During the visit, he also gave us algaecide after noticing algae in our pool in his initial visit and gave us a tip for how to better set up our pool sweep. When he was done, he took care of disposing of our old pump/motor and the packaging for our new pump/motor. It's been two weeks since Brian installed the pool pump/motor and gave us the algaecide and the tips. Thus far, the pool pump/motor is working without a hitch with significantly quieter operations than our old pump/motor at what is hopefully more energy saving levels. Overall, the pool looks better in these two weeks than it has in months. In summary, if you're looking for a responsive, affordable, experienced, knowledgeable pool service and repair man, we'd strongly recommend BJ's Pool Service.
Recent Review: We had a 30 year old wood retaining wall next to our pool deck with a wood bridge to our patio area. These were in poor condition. David and his crew replaced the wood retaining wall with a concrete wall and installed drainage lines so water wouldn't stand behind the wall. He also designed and built a new bridge (approximately 5' x 6'). This was a little difficult as the pool deck is higher than the patio. We had a couple of bad sections of pool deck that were cracked and sinking due to the failing retaining wall so those were also replaced. These were done with exposed aggregate with every effort to match the original deck. We were impressed with the results. David was punctual for his appointments with us. We had a few estimates and his was reasonable for the work we needed. We chose David because he had some great ideas about how to approach the job. He explained everything that would be going on during the construction and worked well with the pool contractor who was working in the yard at the same time. He and his entire crew were professional and courteous. They cleaned up the yard when they were done, hauled off all debris, and even arranged the rocks in the creek bed. It was a pleasure to do business with this company.
Recent Review: I've been with them for 2 months now, and planning to continue with them, I used to do my own pool cleaning, but it was taking too much of my time and effort, and I didn't trust anyone else to handle the pool. I tried Stay Clean Pools, and they earned my trust immediately. They went above and beyond to take care of my pool. I went on a month+ long vacation during the summer, and they made sure that water was added regularly in this heat (I don't have any automatic refill system). The pool stayed clean the whole time. I'm definitely continuing with their services. A++
Recent Review: The pool looks fabulous. It was well worth the cost as it rejuvenated the pool and saved us the expense of re-tiling the pool surround. The crew was very professional and Lynell was a pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend this company for your pool.
