Recent Review: My wife and had put off a remodel of our 33-year-old bathroom until cracks in the fiberglas shower pan compelled us to act. I cut out sheetrock from the shower wall flanges and then cut out the walls. I cut a circle around the drain and popped off the base only to find the drain pipe cracked at the 45 degree fitting going into a straight 2" abs pipe about 2/3rds encased in concrete. When I tried to put a rubber cap on the pipe, a cracked opened up 3.5" down the pipe. Now I was worried. After talking to a couple of friends, I turned to Angie's List. I called Ken Fleck and, happily for me, he was in town finishing a project and would be happy to stop by and see my problem. He was impressed by the poor workmanship of the contractor we had 33 years ago and offered to fix the pipe and place the new shower pan right then. He sent me to the plumbing shop for parts while he started drilling into the concrete. By the time I got back, he said the pipe had a spiral crack all the way to the Y-coupler leading down into the concrete slab (Actually, I could see the damage.). He put in a proper drain and trap and installed the new shower pan all in a little over two hours. If I had done it on my own it would have taken a week and I would have been a nervous wreck and my wife more than a little unhappy. Thanks, Ken.

Recent Review: He came in and was very professional from the start. Told me how much it would be to unclog the drain but then I added in a few things. He did some quick calculations gave me an estimate and when I agreed to the price he went to the hardware storeand came right back. After the job was complete he gave me my final price and it was 15 dollars less than his estimate. The work was done quickly and I am very pleased with the quality.

Recent Review: This is a family run construction company. I called for an estimate to remodel a bathroom at a rental property. I live 60 miles away from the rental and needed someone who could do everything long distance. Mr. LaValle responded quickly, contacted my tenant, visited the location and sent a written estimate via email. It was detailed as to exactly what he would do for his labor cost. The labor estimate was $3800 to complete the work. I purchased the needed items at stores close to me and Mr. LaValle picked them up at two local home improvement stores close to the rental property. My parts cost came to $2200. The total bathroom remodel was $6000. Mr. LaValle, kept me informed as to the progress, via email and telephone conversations. The original time estimate was 5 days. It took 9 days to complete the work as there were unexpected problems discovered when he removed the fiberglass shower stall. The drain was old and corroded. He had to jack hammer the cement out and replace the drain. His original estimate had been to put in a prefab fiberglass shower pan. We wanted it to be a full tile shower, including the floor. We also asked him to install a recess (for shampoo and such) and a grab bar. He completed these things without changing the Labor price. All of this was done during the New Year holiday. I had conversations with my tenant during the construction. She had nothing but good things to say about the experience. She was happy with the work, said the workers were always on time, and cleaned up each day after the work was done. The bathroom looks beautiful, and is done in a professional manner. Mr. LaValle is a good businessman. His communication and technology skills allowed me to complete this remodel, see what it looked like (he took photos and sent them via email) and pay for it (with a credit card) all from 60 miles away. I plan on using him again for remodeling the second bathroom in the rental. I wish I could use him for remodeling at my residence, but he's too far away!!

Recent Review: ?You get what you pay for?.   Professional, courteous, experienced plumbers (2/3), excellent workmanship, materials that meet national and local code and standards.  This was a major repair of an interior sewer pipe which also required partial removal of bath ceiling downstairs.  The area was cleaned as they went & kept orderly for the carpenter to follow, as they don?t do that. As the daughter, sister, niece, cousin, ex-wife, of qualified licensed (& unlicensed) plumbing contractors (who chastised me for not getting a professional initially). My homegrown retired & out-of-state plumbers were not readily available but then advised me even to cost.   Previously, I?d had local handy types do ?small? jobs misdiagnosed and spottily repairing which lead to major repair; if analyzed & properly done at onset my cost would have far less and one time.  I have it on authority and personal experience Waters Plumbing is one you can trust.

DBudget Plumbing & Drain Cleaning
Not great- called Sunday and dispatcher said plumber was on a job and she could not schedule me for Monday ( when I needed it ) but could do it probably Wed. She said as soon as he was done she would discuss with him and confirm time and price. She said she would call me back in the next hour or two.Well I never heard back from her Sunday. Finally Monday she did call back around 10 am saying that she had not been able to get hold of the plumber till then. Over committed and undelivered- so I passed.
