Recent Review: Although Scott was not the general contractor on this job, he did outstanding work, especially a very hairy kitchen cabinet install.  He was good about communicating and fair with prices.  He kept at it until we were totally satisfied with the job. I would hire him again.

Home Depot
Recent Review: Consultant was very knowledgeable and professional. Took some time to get an appointment. Products seemed of high quality and installation process seemed competent. However estimate was very high and seemed very expensive. Chose another vendor with a lower bid. However, would consider Home Depot consultants for other projects.

CR Woodworks
Recent Review: I called CR Woodworks and explained what I wanted.  An appointment was made for about 10 days out (this was over the Xmas holiday).  Ron Lunt (owner and cabinetmaker) kept the appointment, explained my options, gave me a quote and an estimate of time to complete (just a week).  I paid a deposit.  Ron called a day before I expected him to, set up an appointment and arrived the next morning with an assistant to install the finished drawers.  After about 2 1/2 hours, I had my drawers!   The workmanship is excellent - well made, sturdy and easy to open and close.  I'm delighted with the finished product and was very impressed by Ron's professionalism.  His wife, Suzi, was also very pleasant to deal with when she originally spoke with me and set up the appointment.   I will definitely use Ron for any woodworking project I may have in the future and highly recommend him to anyone who needs custom cabinets or similar work.

Samantha's Handygal Services
Recent Review: I'm remodeling my kitchen and installing multiple ceiling fans.    Samantha removed a kitchen cabinet and installed a new dishwasher.   This required adding a dishwasher end panel, removing the garbage disposal and redoing the plumbing, and setting up the dishwasher.    It was an all day job and everything works perfectly. Then she installed a 58" ceiling fan in my living room where there was no prior wiring.    She had to tie into wiring in the kitchen and install a wall switch.    Again, it works perfectly and looks great.    She also installed a new heater/fan/light unit in my bathroom.   The unit was larger than the prior one and required extensive support work and drywall changes.    Samantha is a gem.    She seems to do almost any type of work and is ideal for those small jobs around the house where you don't want to hire a very expensive contractor.    She's coming back to install a wood floor in my kitchen and will add that review when finished.

Recent Review: They did a wonderful job, especially considering they did not have a lot of insurance money to do it with. They were prompt, helpful and very nice young men. They were polite, always dressed well and were careful about all of my stuff. They knew what they were doing and the young men were exceptionally courteous. The work they did was very well done, that is probably the most important thing. The insurance company was not going to cover new kitchen cabinets so these guys pulled all the old cabinets out and did a very nice job of putting it back together again. They were always here when they said they would be.

Innovative Cabinets And Design
Recent Review: We visited the showroom over a month ago to look at cabinets for a kitchen remodel.  We showed Steve and Cindy a layout of our kitchen.  They seemed quite excited to visit our house to look at our kitchen and to do our remodel.  They wanted to see the house and they visited the next morning.  They know our address, phone number, email (did not respond to email information that was sent to them), and have never given us the bid that they came to do.  Obviously, we are not very pleased with a company being unresponsive.  I am not happy with a company that has taken our time (as well as the kitchen layout) and has not had the courtesy to provide a bid.  At this time, we have moved on and have signed a contract with another company that has been quite responsive.

Great experience all around. Brian, the salesperson, was thorough, educational, gave great advice, responded to every question and issue promptly. Appropriate follow up after the project. Production time was as planned and install occurred on days originally established. Installers were prompt, clean, courteous. Quality was above expectations. Two minor issues addressed quickly. Price was less than expected. Office staff superb with routing questions and obtaining answers. I felt informed throughout. Would recommend to others. Update: one drawer cover was addressed by installers but sales rep very slow to respond. Finally was told quality of the drawer was not guaranteed but we could pay ourselves. Cost: $25. Minimal cost for much bad will.

Lowes was very deceptive. They gave us the distinct impression that they had done remodels before (as opposed to single-product installations). It was not until materials were being delivered to both my home and my deceased mother's condo (!!!) that we were informed that Lowes had NEVER done a complete remodel before and there were likely to be lots of mistakes. If I had known that Lowes was so inexperienced, I would have demanded a hefty beta-tester discount and/or a performance bond. Certainly, I would not have paid the entire retail price a month before work was to start. Eventually all materials for the whole job were stored at our house (except -Thank God! - the appliances). The garage was unusable for about 8 weeks. This remodel did not involve moving any walls, but has taken over 10 weeks so far (+ a little over 4 weeks waiting for materials) - we are still needing repairs and were without a usable kitchen for almost 7 weeks. A fan was installed that overlapped a cabinet door by about 1 foot - it was eventually moved. The glass tile for the back-splash was poorly cut with numerous blemishes - the worst blemishes were eventually covered by molding after we complained. The swinging door between the kitchen and dining room was improperly installed and broke after 2 days - Lowes says they will repair it. Unfortunately, this brings up another, more subtle reason why I would never go through Lowes (or any other big-box retailer) for a remodeling project. We originally wanted a door with a pivot hinge that could be locked in an open position. Lowes said this was and quot;unavailableand quot;. What they meant was it was not available from Lowes. The hinge can be ordered from HardwareSource.com for $50-$80 depending on finish. Instead they attempted to use double-acting 1.25 in hinges at a cost of $72, on a 1.5 in door. Similarly, we were restricted to a limited choice of tiles, and a false bead-board panel rather than true tongue and groove for wainscoting. Lowes may very well have exactly what you want for your remodel, but be ware that all they bring to the party is an extra layer of expense and finger-pointing. Distinctive specialty items for a truly high-end remodel are likely to be and quot;unavailableand quot;. Similarly, we wanted
