Recent Review: Tony Rogers, Dunrite's owner, responded quickly to our inquiry, visited the site to see the scope of work, and promptly provided an itemized bid. The work proceeded like clockwork, with no delays and no drama. The subcontractors Dunrite hired to lay tile and flooring did very fine work. Laying the tile for the bathroom floor required some very precise work where the floor, bathtub, and the front edge of the tub surround met in the corners; the tile setters were true craftsmen in how precisely they cut the tile to fit. Likewise, we were very happy with the vendors Dunrite recommended for large mirrors and quartz countertops; they delivered their items exactly as specified and on time. Dunrite’s painters did a meticulous job on walls and trim, most notably in a living/dining room with a vaulted ceiling. The Schrock cabinetry we ordered through Dunrite fit perfectly, and we appreciated the opportunity to configure the size of the sinks and drawers to best meet our needs. All the workmen were polite, accommodating, and on-task. The owner was available by phone or email throughout. His bids and bills were very transparent, unlike some remodeling companies that wanted to bid the entire job, with no item-by-item explanation of costs. He let us know in advance when we needed to be on site for a particular installation. We appreciated his straightforward communication throughout the process. We hired a contractor because we wanted someone who could identify good subcontractors and coordinate the work flow; Dunrite was highly satisfactory on both counts. We love our “new” home and would not hesitate to use Dunrite Construction again.
