Recent Review: Our wall oven control unit failed. It was under warranty, but over the course of a month both the manufacturer and the warranty company claimed the part was no longer available. We found an online vendor that had the part. On the basis of reviews here, we called Lee's Appliance to ask how much it would cost to install the part if we bought it. John, the proprietor, suggested we let him check with his own suppliers to avoid us paying hundreds of dollars for a part that we couldn't return if it turned out not to fix the problem. He called the next business day to report he had found the part, came on time this morning, installed it and stayed until he had seen the oven cycle through a series of on-off phases. He charged us less for the part than the online vendor by a substantial amount, charged a very reasonable labor fee and ultimately enabled us to avoid laying out $2,000 for a new oven.
