AJoe's Handyman Service
He got back within a day.  He was prompt and courteous, he just didn't know how to do crown molding.

AJay's Handyman Service
His price was fair.  He took measurements one day then returned (a week later due to his busy schedule) with the material already painted. He fully installed everything in one day and was very professional. I'm very happy and plan to bring him back to complete other areas.

Jay and his wife did an excellent job. They were prompt and efficient, and they took care to protect the carpeting and furniture while they worked. I would hire them again.

FBC Customs LLC
WARNING WARNING WARNING!! I hired these guys to do a job in my home which included fixing some dry wall, paint, a 250 sq ft floor and some crown molding. He quoted me for everything and said he would fix the crown for free as part of the project. He said it would take 4 days to finish the paint, drywall and crown. They swore they were experienced professionals and it would be an easy job. They applied the mud onto the drywall wrong multiple times resulting in the job being drawn out to about 3.5 weeks of work just for drywall alone. After completing about 90% of the job (with no clean up at all) Brandon started to become extremely flakey. Not returning calls and/or not showing up when planned. Excuse after excuse started coming out from dead family members to stolen phones to new babies. It was like a comedy show trying to guess what joke was coming next. After 8 weeks of excuses and Brandon flaking on me to finish the job I finally expressed my dissatisfaction. I am a really reasonable guy, but after 8 weeks of excuses that's the last straw. Brandon became very aggressive and angry saying he's done nothing but try to help me when it took him 4 months to leave a job incomplete that he initially told me would take their "experienced team" 4 days. I'm attaching some pictures of newly painted areas and unfinished work they left. As well as new holes in the walls they put in that weren't damaged upon their arrive. They left me with new property damage and a huge mess. Notice in particular the window sill, the paint is bright white and is so dirty that its nearly brown. NEVER EVER HIRE THESE GUYS! NOT EVEN TO CHANGE A LIGHT BULB! You have been warned!

Bought the Big Deal for Crown Molding.  He came out to check the job site, but we both determine it wouldn't work because of obstacles.

ARobert A. Calvo, General Contractor
Robert worked with and instructed me on making the needed cuts for the crown molding. He came right in and checked what needed to be done and we worked together. He explained everything he was doing because I wanted to learn how to make the cuts myself.

AKitchen Mart Inc
Everything went very well and we're extremely pleased. Kitchen Mart refaced the cabinetry in our kitchen about 15 years ago. The doors and drawer fronts were made of MDF with a hard plastic-like bright-white coating. Over the years, and long after the warranty had expired, the crown molding, doors, and drawer fronts began to yellow somewhat. The cabinet face frames, however, remained the original color of bright white. During the bright light of day, the color difference was quite noticeable. But, since the job had been completed many years ago, I dismissed the thought of asking Kitchen Mart to replace the now-yellowed components. We have used KM for about 3-4 projects over the years and have always been quite satisfied with their work. So, I called them again to give us a bid to reface the cabinetry in our hallway and laundry room. During a visit by their designer and sales person for that project, Cynthia Shull, she noticed the discoloration of our kitchen cabinetry. I gave her the history and she promised us that she would speak to her boss about rectifying the situation even though the warranty had expired long ago. Much to my surprise, KM agreed to replace the yellowed components for just the cost of the materials (about $2,000). Based on my extensive experience, I seriously doubt that most other companies would have stepped up to the plate and fixed the problem because there was absolutely no legal obligation for them to do so. To me, that speaks very highly of KM's integrity. Thanks to the great supervision of Mike Hart and the professional installation of KM's installers, all of the yellowed cabinetry components and crown molding was replaced uneventfully and our kitchen is now beautiful once again. Incidentally, KM completed the hallway and laundry room cabinetry refacing awhile ago and it also turned out great. I already submitted a favorable Angie's List review on that project. And, we still need to have our hall bath remodeled. Can you guess which company will get the job? : )

AAkers Home Improvements
Craftsmanship, integrity, responsiveness and creativity. These are words that come to mind when I think of the work and work ethic of Akers Home Improvements, their crew and subcontractors. Our family has enjoyed working with Craig and Akers Home Improvements on three significant projects, and most recently a complete kitchen remodel that took a mere 15 business days to complete! At Craig s suggestion, we purchased and stored several long lead-time items prior to the first day of construction to eliminate any unnecessary material delays. We also used several of Craig s kitchen design ideas. We were thrilled with the quick turn around. The final product is both functional and beautiful. In recent years, Craig has remodeled other areas of our home, including the addition of new skylights, window replacements and flooring (wood and tile). We would recommend Craig for any home improvement project and will continue to use his services in the future.

AA Wiseman's Home Improvement Inc
From the very start the experience with Ryan Wiseman the owner/contractor was exceptional. The estimate was scheduled on 3/5/14, and he was on time.  He completed and sent me the estimate back the same night.  It was thorough and covered the scope of all work to be completed.   The price was fair, so I decided to hire him.  Since I was providing all the materials for the job, I had to order a couple of items before work could begin.  I received all items on 3/14/14 and contacted Ryan via Email our normal communication avenue.  Work began on 3/17 and the job was completed on 3/19 much to my satisfaction.   Ryan was very professional, always on time and did a great job in all aspects of construction; electrical, plumbing, tile work, painting and crown molding installation.  He was very responsive and answered all questions and correspondence in a timely manner. In the future, if I have another remodeling project this company will be the  first I call.
