Recent Review: All went very well. After a mandatory $60 service charge, unit was covered by American Home Shield after old microwave was determined not repairable. Appliance Co fit the new unit in so that it is flush with the woodwork.

Recent Review: the control panel on my double wall oven was black out, so i called them and the technician came on a Sat. morning, checked the problem, told me the control panel needed to be replaced. I used a 10% off coupon from Angie's list, the technician came back on another Sat. morning, changed the control panel. Everything works fine especially I can bake the turkey for Thanksgivings.

Recent Review: It went very well. They came before 9 a.m. and had most of the work done by early afternoon. This is the second time we have used them. The first time they installed new facia boards below a roof and installed a wall oven and microwave and created cabinetry to give the oven/microwave a and quot;built-inand quot;look. We will use them in the future. Not only is their work good, but they are polite and professional.

Recent Review: Dave Studebaker & his assistant, Laurie, arrived a few minutes earlier than the electrician at the appointed time. Immediately covered my hardwood floors with masonite and my counters with padded covers. Removed the old oven unit (no easy task!) and prepped the "hole" for the electrician. Electrician arrived and started his work, Dave & Laurie worked on adapting the cabinet for the new appliances. It was as if their movements were choreographed. Four & a half hours later, the kitchen was empty of all their protective coverings and equipment - and we had beautiful new working appliances! I could not be any more pleased with the professional manner in which they operated, communicated with us & each other, or the quality of their installation. Truly a first class operation.

Recent Review: 6/4/13 He determined that the computer boards were bad on both appliances.  The Amana refrigerator has 2 computer boards, a high voltage and a low voltage;  one is still available, but the other is no longer being manufactured, and that one regulates the defrost cycle.    6/11/13 Because we were trying to find options for not having to replace the refrigerator ($$$$), we called Sebastian back to check thoroughly the refrigerator to make sure components besides the computer board were OK.  They were.  So, we ultimately decided that, for now, we would manually defrost the refrigerator whenever the alarm goes off (every 1-2 weeks) since the refrigerator works well otherwise. 6/4/13 The Kitchen Aid oven computer board is still being manufactured, but was back-ordered. 7/9/13 Sebastian came with the new computer board, installed it, and---nothing.  In checking it carefully, we discovered that it was defective--3 contact points were not soldered properly.  He returned it. (The computer board price was $396 + tax). 7/18/13 Sebastian came with the computer board, installed it, and it worked!  Sebastian was extremely prompt in coming and answering our calls.  He is professional, patient and helpful.

Joe responded promptly and took care of the problem. He was friendly and professional. We thought the price was a bit steep, but realize we don't really know what an average or fair price would be. There was an $86 diagnostic fee which was divulged to me before he came out. The repair itself cost around $100.

Joe did a great job repairing a wall oven that was in a house we just bought. It wouldn't work, and Joe determined that there were several internal parts that need to be purchased and repaired. The over apparently had a fire, so there was extensive damage. Joe was able to order the replacement parts and get the oven working again, which was not an easy task. We so appreciated his work that we had him work on a dishwasher in the house we were getting ready to sell. Not only can he fix thing, but he is also very prompt. We're happy to recommend him.

Evidently there is a problem with the mother board, which is no longer available so it must be sent off to be repaired. Joe gave me the name and number for the service he uses. I'll send it in when I get a chance.

My wall oven was turning itself off. I called Zajic and they agreed to make a service call even though I live on the outskirts of their service area. They were prompt, helpful, professional and pleasant. The initial diagnosis was not correct, but it's a tricky problem and it seemed to be OK when the technician left. The problem resurfaced and they returned, this time with a new electronics board and did not charge me for the visit. The new board turned out to be damaged -- it was in an unopened box, but the part was cracked and did not work. Zajic ordered another board, made a third visit and this time the problem appears to be solved.  The problem was not obvious but they were diligent and only charged for one of the service calls. They also honored my Angie's List discount.  I would definitely recommend Zajic and will not hesitate to call again in the future.

Folsom Lake Appliances showed up on time. The guys Scott and Chewbacca did an awsum job. After the installation, Scott tested the oven, however forgot to remove the low density Poly Ethelene foam packing material sandwichwed between the sliding oven racks as shipping protection. The foam was white low density polyethylene. It transformed into a crispy hardened 6 inch by 6 inch dark brown puddle on the bottom oven tray. Smoke bellowing out of the oven after the door was opened filling the house. We were breathing bypass fumes as the Thermador 1200 CFM fan kept up with the steady stream of toxic fumes pooring out the oven. PE is a thermo foam, heat will soften it, melting should not release noxious fumes however burning the PE will, and did. Scott apologized, said all I have to do is wipe it out with a damp rag once the oven cools down. I asked him to show me how easy that is. He worked on scraping it out for almost twenty minutes. At that point in the clean-up he said he would need to order a replacement oven tray if he couldn't get it removed. Now my wife and I have a major headaches and are feel light headed and sick. We had to go outside and get some air. I then texted a Material Scientist friend at HP, asking how to get it up because obviously it wasn't coming off. He said, when PE approaches the moulton state most of it maybe whiped up with something that may be absorbant . Once it cools you can't get it off without damaging the enamel from abrasive cleaners or metal tools. Plastic or wood spatulas just wont penetrate the bond. Try a heat gun to soften it, you may be able to scrape it a bit with something wood when soft. Soften or melt slowly, and lsquo;Do not boil or burn the material' doing so will release noxious fumes. The melting point for average, commercial, low-density polyethylene is typically 105 to 115 and deg;C (221 to 239 and deg;F). Scott once again ramped up the oven, trying to balance at a Temp, 230 Deg F, attempting to bond the molten PE to our Terrie cloth dish rag. Finally it cleaned off the bottom tray. We shook hands and I thanked Scott for the install. I sort of wish that didn't happen otherwise they would have received an "A" for overall experience.
