Recent Review: The immediate problem was a smoke alarm in an very inaccessible location that was beeping periodically and driving my tenant nuts. We needed a handyman primarily because we needed more than just a simple extension ladder in order to access the smoke alarm. Rick showed up on time and had all of the equipment that you could expect with him ready to go. While there, he also took a look at some wiring issues to an outside lamp and fixed that while waiting on me to purchase a replacement smoke alarm at OSH. I've got him in my phone book for the next time I need some quick work.
Recent Review: Very well. He comes on time, works quickly but thoroughly, and has helped me on several occasions. I feel very lucky to have a reliable person to call when I need help around the house and yard.

Recent Review: We spent $3,000 to remove the popcorn ceiling and about $1200 for the crown molding. They were prompt and very neat. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and were courteous and easy to work with. They were great.

ABuilt Right Renovation
I originally hired Carlos to install some new vanity tops and sinks and to repair and paint my deck. I was preparing my house for sale. After discussing with my agent the list of things to do grew substantially. Carlos stepped up and ended up taking on all the work. He (and his crew) removed popcorn ceiling, painted walls, ceilings, stair bannisters, cabinet doors, front door, steps and he installed a new vanity, tiled, fixed plumbing issues, fixed electrical issue with switches, repaired and installed blinds. Caulked and sealed and even removed a dead rodent in the crawl space! He did all this in a VERY tight timeline as I needed to get the house on the market. He worked long hours and when little stuff cropped up her came back to fix or change. He is polite, responsive and professional. He kept me informed of what he found and any needed changes and provide receipts for supplies quickly. I gave him a key and I was very comfortable with him working when I was at work. All in all a very good experience and I will use him again.

Came in reviewed what needed to be done and started the work. Once he finished with the ceiling we went to purchase the work for the stand. He built the stand. It only took him around 4-5 hours but that was all on my list. He did a very good job

Great experience, I originally planned on only having the popcorn removed and ceiling repainted in the rooms that joined my kitchen. Since I was in the process of a kitchen remodel including new floors I thought it a perfect time to remove popcorn, so I made the call and he was one of the contractors that provided me an estimate. Havy gave me 2 estimates, one for just popcorn removal and ceiling work and he also suggested the rooms that joined the kitchen be re textured and repainted including the kitchen walls. Not something I considered to do at this time, however i'm so very happy that I took his recommendation to do it now, the price was reasonable which helped and I was saved several weekends of work repainting myself, the walls and ceilings all look great. He was also flexible with other small tasks that I could not get to myself (replacing outlets, and reconnecting the sink and dishwasher). I could not be happier with the outcome and I will absolutely use his services again.

ARon Hogan Drywall
We then reached out to R&H and spoke with Ron Hogan (President) about the specifics of his project proposal to include initial and final payment requirements (via PayPal) as expressed in contract agreement. When his workers arrived on the project start date, the lead crewmember (Carlos) directed his team to suspend and mask all lighting fixtures as well as all ceiling areas where popcorn ceiling removal would take place in order to protect walls, furniture, and flooring. Unquestionably, we are pleased to state that they were an extremely professional crew in terms of punctuality, neatness, and quality. Finally, if we were to recommend one thing to bear in mind, you might consider staying with a friend or at a hotel for about a day or so until completion of this dreadfully messy project. Speaking from experience, you will not regret this approach.

When I bought my home in nid-March, I was aware there were problems with the wiring that had to be redone. A friend had recommended Pagan Construction, so they came out and did an estimate. We also discussed the popcorn ceilings, which were crumbling, so I opted to have those removed, too. All the work was performed under definite time constraints, since I wanted to paint the interior rooms before moving in at the end of April. After the big move, I had Pagan come out again to paint the exterior of the house. That work was done quickly and neatly. Because the covering of a trellis in the back yard was deteriorating, I opted to have the cover replaced. That is the only area where there was any problem. An apprentice working on the job made some material selections that did not work properly. Fortunately, the owner was quick to correct the problem using proper materials at no additional cost. The work was also done without disturbing a nearby birds nest under the house eves. Extra points for respecting the wildlife!

We were very pleased with John Sullivan (owner) Raul (supervisor) and the rest of the crew. All were polite, considerate, cooperative, hard working, knowledgeable and always on time. They did an excellent job with all aspects of the work. One part of the job was not done correctly because of miscommunication but when we discussed it with Raul he corrected the problem promptly. John had told us that the job would take 4 days and it ended up taking almost 5 but we asked them to add a couple of things on to the original contract so we were very happy with the amount of time it took to complete. We have found no problems and everything works correctly. The only problem I encountered was in trying to get in contact with John. It took his several days for him to get back to me after we had chosen him to do the work and often times I could not get him by phone. In his defense he had told me that a bunch of jobs had come in at the same time and he was scrambling. We would determinately hire him and his crew again.
