Recent Review: Tom came highly recommended by a family member, so when we bought a small house in the hills that was in need of a good deal of restoration we gave him a call.  On his first trip to the house he replaced two sliding doors, the front door and installed a door out on to the deck.  That done, he fixed a hatful of electrical problems and increased electrical service to the house three fold.  It was then on to the shop to install a service panel and bring the electrical service up to code.  All this was accomplished with neither delay nor drama.  Somewhat later it was time to totally replace the bathroom.  Through a series of phone calls prior to beginning the project Tom would frequently say, "Well, you could do that.  You might want to consider . . . ."  Each time his suggestion was an improvement.  When the project was completed he had brought our bath into this century.  All of Tom's work is level, plumb and straight; no small feat in a house which is none of those things.  There is a beauty to his plumbing and electrical work that is covered by wall board and which no one will ever see.  But I know it is there.  Every project has been an improvement to the house, and everything has been completed on schedule.  We are currently waiting the convergence of his schedule with ours so that we can begin another project.  Given that any remodel is a strain on finances (not to mention relationships) I cannot imagine a less stressful or more gratifying experience than working with Tom Judt.

Recent Review: They replaced everything. Put in a new drain for the shower, tiled the shower, floor, and halfway up wall all around. New sink and vanity, new toilet(which, by the way, has only plugged up once in 4 yrs.) new mirror, new lighting, painted, replaced bathroom outside door, installed sliding shower door (which had to be special ordered because standard size wouldn't fit). They also put in a new drain for our washing machine which shared a wall with our bathroom, so they did it at the same time. The only delays were caused by special ordering the shower door and when we left for two weeks. We love our bathroom and highly recommend Tommy T's to everybody! (I thought I already wrote a review for this but Angie's List kept asking for a review, so if this is a duplicate, oh well)

Recent Review: Installed a new tub/shower combination including valves, shower head. They also installed a new light, bathroom heater, and exhaust fan. They also did some wall repair. Everything that we asked them to do they did well.

Recent Review: We purchased a new home, and wanted to add a bathroom and a walk-in closet before we move in to avoid the hassle of living in a construction site. We also wanted to remodel the kitchen and guest bathroom. We called a few contractors for estimates – Flux construction came promptly, and provided an extremely detailed estimate. Although their estimate wasn’t the lowest we felt like they are the right fit for us. Eran and Liran were extremely transparent about what the work would entail, what the costs might be for finishes, and offered their contractor discount at the stores they are working with. They were prompt, listened to our requests, and were very responsive. We will definitely be using Flux again. Highly recommended.

ACurb Appeal
1st contractor in 20 years that impressed me. Kept costs down, did great work. Very informed and punctual, easy communicator. Workes well with female homeowners, he totally communicated and listed to what I needed and wanted, never condescending with words or tone.... A keeper in my book. Have scheduled more remodeling next week.

FAffordable Home Improvement & More
Mike Burdett bills himself as an honest, hard working guy who can do anything and do it well. Mike is not honest.  He hired a young man to work for him and then didn't pay him for three weeks and when he did pay him, he didn't pay him the hourly wage he said he would pay him.  At the time he was working for an apartment complex in Lancaster and he required money for materials.  The owner of the apartment complex would give Mike the money and Mike would go to Lowes to pick up the materials.  At the end of the day, Mike would either take the materials to his house for his own personal use or return the unused materials to Lowes and pocket the money rather than give it back to the owner of the apartment complex. Mike was given several apartments to make repairs to, clean up and get ready to rent out.  Mike was very scattered in his work.  Meaning instead of finishing the first apartment, he would assign work to his helper and then go off to work on another apartment and then come back and stop his helper from doing the work assigned to do other tasks, making it take much longer to finish any give job in a timely manner. He also smoke marijuana before work, during lunch breaks and after work.  He would send his helper into the office of the apartment complex so that the manager would not smell marijuana on him. I would never hire this man to do any work for me, not even a carpet cleaning, never mind working on my car or fixing a leaking pipe.
