Recent Review: I had a problem several months ago with the service I received from Wallner Plumbing. The president of the company personally called me to resolve the issue. Wallner reimbursed the cost of service plus added a complimentary winterization for my swamp cooler. I am very impressed with the response and service I received. I will use Wallner Plumbing in the future.

Recent Review: Their bid for the swamp cooler was in the middle.  They were a little bit slow getting back to us.  They always call and let me know when they are going to be there.  They were amazing when they did a $22,000 remodel in the kitchen a while ago for us because we had water damage.  The water damage was because of our water heater.  They sent the water damage specialist out to us and he showed us where we had mold crawling up the walls and the floor was ready to collapse and the water heater was going to fall through the floor.  They rebuild the floor and the walls and got rid of all the water damage.  The thing that was great about them was that every single day they never left us without a functional kitchen at the end of the day so that we could use it.  They never left tools they always cleaned up.  I was still able to use the kitchen after they left for the day.  We will no doubt use them in the future.

When I made the initial appointment for yearly maintenance of the swamp cooler I told the office secretary that I had a possible broken copper tube from water line to unit. As I already had a neighbor who has a unit similar to mine go on my roof and check my unit. The repairman showed up as scheduled. Did annual maintenance then leaves for quite sometime. When he returned he resumed his repairs. He actually spent  less than 40 minutes on the 2 repairs combined. This is not counting the time it took him to leave and come back. When repairs were complete I questioned the repair contract. He did not break down the repairs and prices for each item, cost of materials or hourly charge. I had to ask him and then write them on the order in front of him. I questioned the price of the copper tubing repair and how little time it actually took for the repair, I am estimating 10 minutes. He commented that he charged me for the time he had to go back to the shop to get the copper tubing. He was very condescending in his replies to each question. As I stated I had told the secretary what was probably wrong. Why wasn't his truck stocked with copper tubing.? And why should the customer pay for his time for that errand? Approx 2 weeks later I noticed water trickling off the roof on the side of my home. I called and spoke with the same repairman. I was very straight forward as I was still unhappy about the previous service call and that he had just repaired and summarized the unit. He was very sarcastic in his response to me on the phone. He arrived as scheduled to check the unit. He found the unit to be slanting at and angle enough to cause the water pan to overflow onto the roof.  Why did he not see that when he summarized. inspected and repaired the unit a few weeks earlier? Because he was not through in his initial inspection.  I asked how much it would cost to repair the problem, he stated he did not know until he started the job. I have a flat top mobile home with foam roofing, I asked if it could damage the roof, he said it could. I told him I would have to wait for the repairs until I had more funds. During our conversations he continued with his condescending attitude, even though he was aware that I am terminally ill. I got very assertive verbally as I should have. Late that day he called me and told me that he had adjusted the water pan and it should be alright as is through the rest of the summer season. Then a few weeks after that the swamp cooler was not working at all. So again I contacted Wallner's and requested a different serviceman come to check the unit. A different repairman did come but could not find a problem, thought it may be in the switch but could not figure it out. So he told me if it happens again to call him as I have the unit in on position. I am new to the area and the only reason I used Wallners in the first place is because I found some repair invoices of my step mothers in the home. She had used Wallners the previous  2 or 3 years for service. I am not sure if I will use them in the future.

One night, late, my roommate opened the door to the fireplace insert and the fire from the insert billowed out at her and burned her hair and slightly on her face. She told me about it first thing in the morning. I called Bob immediately and he told me not to use the fireplace before he got there. He came out within an hour. Immediately saw what was the matter(my chimney cover was clogged)and took care of the problem. He was quick, knowledgeable, and efficient.
