Recent Review: Spa removers are very friendly and communicative, Anne and Lando were both great and easy to work with.  I was given a firm quote up front and the crew arrived on time and removed the deck in short shift.  My only disappointment is that they couldn't remove the concrete footings and posts (18 of) and so my hopes that removing the deck would give me back my yard were not realized from the deck removal service. The quote said it would be an additional $20 per post, but it ended up that they could not be removed.  In speaking with concrete removal vendors, a deck like this "should" have 12-18 inch deep concrete footings, and so ideally, had I known up front that these could not be removed by Spa Removers, I may have gone a different and less expensive direction as the concrete removal is now likely to cost more than the deck removal itself and I may have spent less money with a company that could have done both.  I do appreciate that Lando tried hard to see if they could be removed, hence my rating, I'm just disappointed that my yard is no more safe or accessible after the removal as that was my goal. Business Description: VILD brings years upon years of design experience to the forefront. From a touch of class in one room, to the sophisticated party in another, to the chic pool party outside, we design more than just layouts. We paint a canvas that clients spend their lives in. We've designed everything from rooms, to apartments, to townhome's, to large homes. Everything from the simple living room or outside deck, to the wine cellar or home theater. Although our home office resides in Northern NJ, we cater to 14 different states including NY, FL, CA, TX , NC, AZ, SC, RI, NV, PA, CT, TN, WA. This is why we’re different…. 1. They, (the design industry) charge by the hour. Leading you to wonder what your paying for and how much. We, charge a fixed price depending on your needs. 2. They, take the designs you discuss and work only within that model, focusing the energy on only that one design. We, offer up to 3 completely unique designs based on your style. 3. They, charge you full price for the furniture and decor you choose, but make a commission on the top due to an industry “trade discount” they have with that store. We, give you OUR discount that we personally get, anywhere from 15-25% with the stores you love, thus saving you more money.

Recent Review: It was fine. The pricing was really good like the cheapest and that kinds of worries me. He was like half the price of majority of the people. He was nice and I really have no complains. There are some bad reviews on them. He was really great.

Recent Review: Please notify consumers to use caution when dealing with this company. They were hired to clean our pool, which they did. They also told us we needed new filters, so we purchased those too. We were not living in the house, so my husband would make appt. to meet with them at the property. One time they were 45 min. late and on another occasion, they failed to show at all. Both Rick and his son would complain to my husband about deadbeat customers, money and they always wanted to know when they were getting paid. We were sent a bill (to the wrong address, but we eventually got it) with a 30 day pay schedule. Even though we did not get the bill in a timely manner, we were still able to make the payment within the 30 day window. I sent Rick's a check for the pool cleaning. In the meantime, we had them replace and install new pool filters. My husband gave Rick's our credit card number, with specific instructions to ONLY charge the filters and replacement cost -- not the cleaning, since I had already sent the check for that. Well, it turns out they charged the ENTIRE amount (for both the cleaning and filter job) on the credit card. According to Rick's, they felt we took too long to pay for the cleaning, so that was their reasoning for charging both jobs on the card. When I pointed out to the office manager (Rick's wife?) that I paid within the 30 day window, she admitted she sent out the wrong type of invoice. We should not have been sent a "30 day" invoice, but rather a "Pay immediately" invoice. I pointed out we were not in charge of the type of invoice they should or should not send! I also reminded them that we were not living in the property with the pool -- this was obvious since the house was being completely remodeled, the entire place was gutted! When I requested a copy of the credit card invoice (which we did not sign!), someone at Rick's (I believe it was the office manager/wife) wrote in the signature line "Phone authorization", which we did not give. Warn consumers to never give their credit card to this company unless they have a copy of the charge slip to sign in person! We do not want to work with Rick's ever again.

AORGANIC LAWN & GARDEN
My first somewhat sarcastic comment was that I wanted something "drought-proof, work-proof, snail-proof, gopher-proof and cheap." Steve actually said that was possible! Having no gardening experience myself, I knew more about what I didn't want than what I did want. I wanted plants that were aggressive enough to keep weeds and other plants out, but that would not grow huge. I like color, but not pink. Steve gave me the names and addresses of several of his jobs to go look at, and presented a complete proposal to be done in stages as I could afford it. This included the names of all of the plants, so I could go online, or to a nursery, and get pictures of the suggested plants. I was very impressed with Steve's knowledge of not only the plants, but the species that work in this area and sandy soil. I was even more impressed with his keen observations of such things as the foot traffic past my house, the sun patterns throughout the day, the wind directions, etc. It became clear to me that every single plant had been selected specifically for its placement in the yard, and for its characteristics. The plan also included a few trees, again chosen for their purposes, ability to handle wind, and the way they put down roots that will not damage sidewalks or other structures. I also added a fountain and a sitting area in the backyard. I had final approval of all plants and their placement before they went into the ground. And the gophers? Well, Steve is treating aggressively to get rid of them, but the proof in the pudding is that they have dug and made mounds around a couple of plants, but not eaten or damaged them. I hadn't known that there are plants gophers don't like! What a glorious revelation! I have a beautiful rock wash meandering through the front yard. There are areas of wood chips and also paths and borders of California gold fines. The front yard has some areas that are mounded and sculpted and the design builds to a tree in the back corner. I was afraid that I might have to replace a back fence and build a new retaining wall. However, after inspecting the fence, which is basically sound, Steve came up with an ingenious plan to reinforce it and keep the neighbor dogs from digging and undermining it. This represented a great savings to me, and it is also interesting and pretty. The back yard is designed to be a peaceful place to sit. I will be putting a two-seated glider under the tree. Steve works alone. So you are not going to have a one day installation if the area is large. He does have regular maintenance customers, so you may not have several consecutive days or full days. However, you will have his full attention and you will be able to reach him either by phone or email. I plan to become a regular maintenance customer. I doubt that one could find a better price for this quality of work. Somehow, without rattling off degrees or experience, I knew within the first conversation (and I interviewed three
