Recent Review: Brian, the project manager, had great ideas which we incorporated into the design. He and his workers really went the extra step for me, including moving my storage shed onto the concrete pad (which was an unexpected help to me). They used some leftover pavers from the patio install to create a beautiful wheelbarrow path around to the storage shed--again, much nicer than I had envisioned. They exceeded my expectations. I now have a lovely vegetable garden area, and around my new patio are beautiful planting beds. I want to also say that my yard is a typical suburban yard--not huge, but at the end of this project it's so beautiful with its two different personalities in one space. My yard design exceeds my expectations, I could not be happier, and I would definitely use them again. They were there working every day, did not slack off, even in the hottest weather. As a final note, I just want to say to the people who gave less than stellar reviews--you should have given Roney and Brian at BGL a chance to do their job. No, I didn't get a fancy CAD-design for my yard. I got a hand drawing. But you know what? Fancy computer drawings don't mean a thing in the long run. I wanted guys who are good at landscaping first and foremost, not computer designers. I got a good hand drawn plan, and the yard followed the plan, and the yard is just perfect. As far as I'm concerned, it's all about being a good landscaper than being good with a computer.
