Business Description: We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves. Amrani Development, Inc. is a family-owned business that caters to high quality and low cost work in framing, drywall, painting, and provides complete engaged work in general construction projects. Amrani Development, Inc. was founded in 1976 by Danny Amrani, who came to America from Israel with a dream to build homes. When Danny arrived in Los Angeles, he realized there was a demand for quality framing and foundation for residential homes. He began to reevaluate his original vision of building homes to painting homes. He wanted to provide customers with the highest quality at the best price. He proceeded to develop great relationships with suppliers such as Dunn-Edwards Paints, Frazee Paint, Van Nuys Lumber and many more. His client list ranged from big corporations to homeowners to big name entertainers. In the late 80’s the construction industry took a hit due to the recession. During this time Danny needed to rebuild his company. He introduced drywall and painting to his services. Immediately, he experienced success within doing commercial tenant improvements. He worked with property management companies such as Toibb Enterprises, Tishman Speyer, and Zelta Development. He continued to focus on residential homes as well. Today, Amrani Development, Inc. is family owned and operated. Gabriel Amrani continues to follow the Amrani legacy. The focus for the company is to provide new and current clients with maximum value at minimal cost. Every day, our team of experts finds new ways to make amazing things happen and continue to develop ingenious solutions to meet our clients various needs. Ingenuity and quality are found in all Amrani Development, Inc. projects that you, our clients, have come to love and trust. We have faith in our team and strive to build working relationships based on trust, honesty and excellent performance. It is these vales that drive every decision and action our team makes to constantly evolve into the best company possible (Always Striving for Perfection and Customer Satisfaction). Sincerely, Amrani Development

Business Description: I have been in business since 1978. I am also a retired soldier with 24 years of service. I do tree work and have never been a butcher. Served a year in Japan with the Marines and absorbed all the Japanese gardens not knowing I would follow japanese techniques in gardening and tree trimming when I started my gardening and tree service in 78. I worked for the phone company for three years after the marines, then L.A. County parks and recreation doing trees at descanso gardens, the arboraetum, music center and all other county trees. I then worked for edison as a groundsman but ended up with the tree crew clearing high voltage lines. Became a single parent with three small children and started my business then. Because of the children I took any and all work to survive. Basically my fees are based on $25.00 an hour and on the danger and heavy work to include material. By law I cannot work over the daily limit since I don't have a state contractors license. I do all the dangerous and heavy work with the assistance of one helper, many times a family member. when doing dangerous trees the cost could be 50 to 100 dollars a hour. I do not take chances by taking trees down in large sections. Only in sizes in which I can physically lift. I have owned many homes and after hiring people that did't know what they were doing I decided to do all the work myself. I continued my education anreceived an AS in fire science with a secondary in horticulture. Later I went back to school to learn auto mechanics while restoring a 56 buick. From there adult ed and restoring and reuphostering antique furniture. I have always dabbled in sewing and framing as well as photography and now computers. I have hand painted homes inside and out and considered trustworthy enough to housesit and take care of homes for people that have more than one home. I live in Crestline but most of my work is in Pasadena, West Covina, and the Pomona area. If customers accept my bid I will travel. I have worked in Palm springs, Victorville,Santa Barbara and as far as San Diego.

ADream Painting
Initial bid: Paul arrived early! Very professional and pleasant. Explained what would be included clearly and helped me make several decisions. References: Provided pages of references. We called a bunch. All said they were pleased with Dream Painting and would use them again. Actual job: Painters Roger and Jose were prompt, efficient, skilled and polite and professional. They were a pleasure to have around. Quality of Job: The paint job is excellent. When I did the final walk through I did not find a single area that required touch up. Clean up: Their clean up of the job site was great. To be honest, over the following week, I would find a few tray pieces of tape or paper, but the house and yard are big. Basically, their clean up was excellent.

AThree Star Painting
3 Star Painting was super.  I needed the wood portions of my father's home painted in advance of anticipated El Nino weather in the Southern California region.  Marty walked the property with me and identified precisely what needed to be done.  He didn't attempt to upsell me.  He gave me a fast and very fair quote.  He and his team showed up on time, finished the work on schedule and was responsive throughout the entire process.  I will use him again in the future and am happy to recommend him.

These guys are a pleasure to deal with, and their work is top notch. They were always on time or early, and were very thorough. When they painted the front door and frame, I wasn't crazy about having them the same color, so they immediately offered to redo the frame to my liking, and it turned out great. Today they were actually Windex-ing windows that they didn't even paint, and I saw them doing touch-ups on windows that I wasn't paying them to touch up - a lovely surprise. Price was lower than other bids I'd gotten for the work. I'd definitely use them again.

Esther was there every step of the way. This was very important because we were not living in Las Vegas while this was going on. She was our eyes and ears while all work was going on. We didn't have to deal with all the small details of painting, shutter installation, carpeting installation, kitchen counter installation, etc. She patiently helped us with all our choices and never put any pressure on us, but offered suggestions when we asked for them. She respected our budget. Anyone lucky enough to use Esther's keen eyes and resources will not be disappointed.

ACARL TILLMANNS HOUSEPAINTING
Carl was very patient in helping me pick colors. I changed my mind frequently on the exterior color and he was always kind, calm and easy going about it. One day I called him about a color I wanted to try and it was up on my house hours later. He spent lots of time with me going through colors from all the companies. He and his crew were fast and did excellent work.I have an old home that had not been painted for quite awhile - it was alot of prep work. Carl was very cheerful during the whole process and worked well with other contractors on the site. Any concerns I had were addressed immediately by him - he was on the job site the whole time unless he was running out to get a new paint sample. He really went above and beyond - I wish all the contractors were like him!!!

He came with 1 helper, put 2 ladders up on the side of the house. Measured the existing shutter (on the wall) to know where to place the nails in the shutter he was putting up. He drilled pilot holes in the shutter, placed the nails and worked the shutter up against the wall with his helper. Hammered the nails into the stucco on the side of the house, drilled where needed through to stucco. Used a counter sink to place the nail heads in, and finish painted the shutter to clean everything up. He and his helper did a great job.

ATHE EDUCATED PAINTERS
They have been in the area for quite a while.  They did the shutters, repaired some damaged area in front of the house and did the wrought iron and some carpentry work with the shutters that needed to be repaired.  I will use them again in the future.

Unfortunately..NOT WELL.  It is now EIGHT MONTHS, and the job is still not completed as per contract. It has been a nightmare. The salesman, Joe...disappeared within a several months of signing. Fred in schedulling? WORTHLESS. Never knew when I was scheduled and when I was, he sent workers to the wrong address REPEATEDLY. I have numerous emails, and messages; WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO SHOW ? Why DIDNT THEY BRING THE ITEMS?  My bathroom window was broken THREE TIMES. That was a nightmare. They did not paint the wood on the sliders: it was primed. After 4 months they came and sloppily painted them. Paint on the floors, and half-assed job. The shutters: installed with bad cuts and caulking showing everywhere. There were indentations on one set of sliders due to who knows what. The guy showed up later and acted surprised the job was so poor. (He was part of the installation). He took the header and slider and then after 6 weeks...no sign of him. He quit.  Another guy showed up 2 1/2 months after these items were taken: the slider is painted glossy, whereas the other sliders are satin. UNBELIEVABLE.   The worker saw the difference and instead of calling anyone, or taking the other shutter back to match it?  He JUST LEFT! BIGGEST PROBLEM? Beside unbelievable time for a simple job...EIGHT MONTHS?  Ridiculous. Pathetic lack of  communication within this company. NO ONE KNOWS what anyone is doing. I am sorry to write such a negative review as Terri Pedrino: She was great. She did whatever she could to remedy the horrible nightmare, but it just kept getting worse and worse. There was NO REASON this job should have taken this long. We will NOT be having them come back and take the satin painted shutters to have them painted to match the other shutters. Lord knows when they will come back and in what condition Terri: she gets an A...her employees: F

I told him the wall needed to be waterproofed because their was dirt behind it. I'm not sure if he waterproofed it the first time I had problems immediately after the work was finished and had to have him come out to fix it a second time. Very personable.
