Recent Review: Very well! My fiancé and I are impressed. The technician was fast and friendly. When the replacement part finally arrived, the we missed the call and they left a voice mail telling us: 1) the part came in, 2) we'd like to schedule you for tomorrow at 10am, and 3) if you don't have time to call us back, text us at 661-XXX-XXXX to let us know if that time works for you. When it was time for my appointment, the technician called 20 minutes before arriving and then arrived when he said he would. Also, the technician would not take any money, he very kindly excused himself to take care of his next call and told me that I would receive a bill by email... The bill arrived within 10 minutes. This company is fast, efficient and knowledgeable. They use technology like text messaging and email billing to make my life easier. I will absolutely be using them again!

Recent Review: Repairman was very nice, polite. I wouldn't hesitate calling Elite again. Unfortunately the oven was older and the cost of the repair was expensive. Decided to purchase new appliance.

Recent Review: Rhodes Appliance really saved the day. The dealer we bought the microwave from sent out a repairman to fix it. He told us it would cost more to repair than a new one would cost. So, we tried to buy a new one. The only problem was that no one made new ones that would fit above our electric oven. We were facing the cost of having the cabinet remodeled, a new microwave, and the cost of a new trim surround. We called Rhodes and found the heating element needed to be replaced. Problem solved.

Recent Review: The oven was not heating properly. It was not baking correctly and when I measured it against another temperature reading it would be off by 50 to 75 degrees. Sears was called. He was professional and courteous. He explained the problem to my husband and proceeded to fix it.

They came, diagnosed and left with a return appointment in 2 weeks because they did not have the part. They charged me for the diagnosis and the part. The day before the next appointment I got an email asking if I had received the part. It went straight downhill from there. The part was pack ordered for 6 or 7 weeks. I spent days on the phone trying to get a refund for the part and canceling the service. The staff I spoke to only had the same canned responses to my issue. My call was transferred many times and I was given other numbers to call with the same result. I finally got someone to say the service was canceled. I ordered the part elsewhere and got it installed the next day by someone else. I disputed the charge. I never got a confirmation email regarding the cancellation. Two weeks later the part was delivered. I couldn’t get any info about returning it. I then get a call a week ago about returning it. Am supposed to be notified today, the results of that. The frustration in the lack of communication and the canned responses were the worst I have ever expierenced the disputed charge is still open and so far no attempt has been regarding a refund.

I was unable to schedule service after many attempts. I called on a Saturday during open hours to schedule for the upcoming Wednesday. The person who answered the phone offered that I take an appointment for Saturday instead, and seeing an opportunity for same day service and hearing that he might get to me between 3pm and 5pm, I was very happy to accept his suggestion and took the Saturday appointment. At 7:30pm that night, I called to see if he was still planning on coming to my place for the Saturday appointment, and he said that he was willing to still come that night or on his day off, which is a Sunday, but the parts houses would all be closed, so he would likely have to come back a second time after diagnosing the problem. I gave him leave to enjoy his Sunday and instead asked him to add me to his Wednesday schedule in the morning. He agreed, and my life continued. On Wednesday morning, I called his office just before 8 am to confirm my appointment. They did not have a record of my appointment, but the woman who answered said that she would have the technician contact us when he returned from an AC service and add us to the day's schedule. I provided the phone number for my fiance who would be home all day to meet him. My fiance received a call around her lunch time and was told that he would be there the same day between 3pm and 5pm. It was not the morning appointment that we had asked for, but at least we would be seen. At 7:30pm, he still had not showed to repair or inspect the oven. I called to cancel service but received no answer and no answering machine... instead a computerized voice offered for me to enter my access code to access the administrator settings, which indicates to me that voice mail might not be set up, or that it was full, or some other error. I double checked the number that was dialed, and seeing that it was correct, decided to assume that the appointment was canceled. I will not make an attempt to schedule a 3rd appointment. With the level of interest this company has shown in communication their accurate work load to customers with whom they are negotiating service, and with the lack of interest they have shown in providing updates as their schedules change, I have determined that they must not be interested in acquiring new customers. As such, I will grant them their wish and take my business elsewhere. I had noted on Angies List prior to calling that the number one complaint was regarding communication about scheduling. I gave the company the benefit of the doubt. I have learned that my experience very much matches the experience of others who have complained about this issue before me. With regard to the ability of the technician to perform repairs, I cannot comment as I never met with him.

Very well.  I was worried I wouldn't be able to find it since it is the original oven with built-in cabinetry.  I didn't want to pay to have the cabinet redone, so finding the part makes it possible to continue using this oven.  I thought the price was a little high, but I think they had to find it from someone else and since this is from 1960, maybe the price is reasonable since they would not be readily available.  Everyone one was helpful and I'm impressed at how fast I got it - the following day.  They thought it could take into the middle of this next week.  I'm very pleased and would recommend them and use them again.  I'm glad that Angie's List had them on there.  They were rated highly.  I can see why!  It was also packaged very well to prevent damage to the piece I needed.

We called him this morning and since he was on the other side of town, made his way over to us in the early afternoon--talk about same-day service! He was professional, kind, and very intelligent. It took a matter of moments before the over was apart, the ignighter replaced, and everything back together again. He saved our life--our son had a birthday party and we needed to bake cup cakes. This went well.  Oven now works.  I'm relieved.  He checked my refrigerator and found that there was something wrong with the line under the house and said to call a plumber for that.  I did and if I still need him after that is done, I will call him back.  I'm pleased.

FAppliance Clinic
Claimed stove was too old and couldnt obtain parts and couldnt be fixed. Service man was rude and hung up on me. I went out and bought a new stove and removing it we Discovered the oven heater element wire was burnt off. Thats it ! So it didnt need a new stove , just a competent repair man. Where do they Find people like this ? So Im out $500 bucks for a stove that had a wire off. These people do not deserve your business if they are this Bad. I refused to pay them. They agreed.
