Recent Review: Tom arrived about ten minutes early which I appreciated. He looked over the ramps and where they were to be installed and got right to work. He carefully removed the bottom stop of the primary door (our front door is a double -- six foot wide -- door) so it would clear the ramp and close. After installing the ramps and checking with me to make sure the job was satisfactory, he removed all packing and debris and put it in the trash. He then opened the shelves, I decided where I wanted them installed on the wall and Tom did the rest. He offered to hook up my stereo system for me, but I did not have new speaker wires available. That is a job for the future. I'm going to use Tom again to replace my patio slider with French doors and my double front doors (which he advised could be refinished at less cost) with new doors with leaded glass lights. His friendliness, neatness and professionalism was extraordinary. I would advise anyone in the Oceanside/Vista area that if they want a good handyman, call on Tom Mannaserro at HomePro Handyman Services.

Lupe Martinez
Recent Review: We have done several projects with Mr. Martinez and have been more than pleased every time. To call him a handyman is not at all adequate. Lupe has transformed our property in general and added an extreme amount of value to our house.

Recent Review: The sliding hardware for the drawers were replaced to make them easy opening and self-closing, making them updated and a pleasure to use. All of the particle board shelves were replaced with updated wooden shelves making them sturdier and far better appearing. The under-the-sink shelves had previously been modified for wheelchair access. We wanted to restore the full under-the-sink cabinets to their normal full size. This required a good deal of planning and attention to detail. We were well pleased with the result of the restoration, although we are waiting a few weeks for the stain to reach its endpoint color before it is adjusted to better match the existing shelves.

Hi-Tech Builders Inc
Recent Review: They called me and set up an appointment for a Sunday, which I loved that they work on the weekends, as my husband and I are busy during the week. We ended up going with Hi-Tech because they seemed like the most pleasant people to work with. Very nice secretary and the representative Roy was a nice man who knew a lot about remodels. We got rid of our ugly popcorn ceiling and remodeled our home to be handicap accessible for my mother, who has recently moved in with us. Now everything is wheelchair accessible, we have the bars in the shower for her, our porch has a nice new ramp for her, and they did a great job making sure it was well-designed and looks very appealing, like the rest of our home. We will be using them again should we need anything else!

Stellar Home Improvements
Recent Review: Wonderful job!  Michael Martell, the owner of Stellar Home Improvements, worked with us from the beginning with excellent suggestions and advice.  We wanted to remodel the bathroom to make it more accessible.  Mike understood what we wanted, and was particularly responsive to all our suggestions and to our requests to use non-toxic materials wherever possible that would not outgas.   The first thing he did was to install a large plastic "tunnel" to protect the adjoining master bedroom from construction dirt - it worked beautifully.  Mike was easy to reach by phone or email both before and during the job, and always responded promptly.    When unexpected things came up (as they always do during any major remodeling we've ever had). they were taken care of promptly and correctly and we were always notified if there were any unavoidable brief delays.  Communication was always outstanding.  Most of the hands-on heavy construction work was performed by Tim Atwood from Premier Renovations, who is also a licensed general contractor and Angie's List Member.   All of the work was performed professionally and beautifully, along with complete cleanup.  We always knew who was on the premises;  only three people were involved (Tim, Mike, and Sunstate Glass, who installed the shower glass at the end of the job)    We are very pleased with the results and would hire them again for any future projects.
