Bell Gardens Repair Blinds or Shades

We initially called Philip to replace a door at a property we manage and were impressed by him and his quality of work. We've used him for a couple other jobs and he's been very professional the entire way. Would def recommend him to others.

Having missed our first appointment, repairman Paul Lisowski more than made up for it by discounting his initial bid and not charging for additional days he needed to open the bathroom ceiling in order to install the new fan. He was cheerful, upbeat and professional and I would use him again. 

He is fantastic. He gave me a perfect estimates for my blinds. He is very patient and I highly recommend him. I had a long and extensive list of things to do and he able to take care of everything. I already plan to use him again.

My wife located Steve of New Concept Mini Blind Cleaning, and we're both so glad she did.  Steve is the rare technician willing to work on (repair, re-tie and shorten) existing blinds.  Although there were some delays in arrival (about which he phoned to keep us informed), he came to the job site the same day we called.  He literally saved us a couple hundred $ by repairing and custom fitting to length two sets of existing blinds.  He also installed three sets of new blinds purchased at a nearby big-box store, shortening two pairs to fit the window boxes perfectly.  His fee was extremely reasonable, and adding that to the purchase price of the new blinds resulted in a total far less than what we would have paid for a custom order.  The quality of his work is excellent, as was his follow-through.  Steve actually returned and exchanged a piece of one set of blinds that was too short, saving us a trip back to the store.  All this and the existing blinds were thoroughly cleaned, as were the windows!  Great value, excellent service.  Highly recommended.

Randy arrived at our house "exactly" on time, and then went straight to work.  The big job involved the shower in our main bathroom.  Our house was built in 1933, and I believe most of the tile is original. However, much of the tile had become loose and was ready to fall of the wall.  Overall, Randy did a superb job of gluing the tiles back to the shower wall, as well as adding grouting between tiles.  By the time he was done, the shower looked as good as new!  Afterwards, Randy hung a huge mirror, replaced a large set of blinds, and added touch-up paint in our living room. Randy works on many of our neighbors' homes up and down the street, and everyone seems to agree that he can effectively handle any job involving home repair.  Over the years that he has worked on our house, Randy has always been punctual, courteous, and completed work at a very reasonable price.

It was a good experience from start to finish. The phone call to set the service appointment was excellent. Gina was clear and friendly and thorough. Then Leo arrived two days later. He was on time and did beautiful work. Very neat, clean and efficient. Later, when it was dark outside, I found that the new light fixture (which was motion and light sensitive) wasn't working properly. It wasn't Leo's fault; I had purchased the wrong fixture for the area in which it was to be installed. I called Mr. Handyman at 9 p.m. that night, reached an extremely helpful answering service (a real person) and the next day, a Saturday, Steve Biehler, the owner, called me back. He was immediately responsive to my plight and re-scheduled a service call for the following Monday. Mike arrived and the problem was fixed.

Jim did a fantastic job, very professional. He is the handymen you really dream to have: always on time, very articulate about what can be done (or shouldn't be done) and very knowledgable. I am highly recommending Jim!
