Recent Review: Great group of guys, this was a free test for buying a new appliance and it was amazing how hard the water was! Very informative, not a high pressure sale.

Recent Review: The guys were on time and were very professional. They did things to the job that I did not expect, improvements that I didn't even know I needed, all for the agreed price. Beckett will be the only plumbing service I will call again.

Recent Review: They came out and looked at the area and question. As it turned out it was the drain on the water softener that was continually leaking into the drain in the wall behind the washing machine. They took of the hose and showed me what the issue was and told me I needed to contact Culligan to get the water softener fixed. They were there about 20 minutes and did not charge me a dime. I would call them again should I have a plumbing problem.

Recent Review: It was a little misleading because I wasn’t aware of how much longer it would take to cycle to unit. They are using partially cycled water and it didn’t make any sense. I had them switch it. Turns out 90% of my water usage was backwash. It seemed like a wasteful system for use of water.

Recent Review: The water in Carpinteria ruins everything from faucets to dishwashers, washing machines, tub fixtures/drains and anything else you have that can corrode. I asked for information on a whole house water softener system and Mark produced brochures and I was given a thorough rundown of all kinds, and finally ordered the unit Lewis Plumbing installs.  Mark is fast and friendly. He efficiently worked with the existing access, and installed the unit behind a storage shed out of sight. After the installation he made sure to explain everything about it, how it worked, timers, different kinds of salts and potassium and so forth, and offered a regular service, or that we could do it ourselves if we preferred. I've got soft water for the first time in my life and it's SO WORTH IT.  Our dishes are clean not cloudy, our clothes are soft, and I don't even need to use hand lotion anymore.     Also, included was an unhook/reconnect agreement because of some house siding work that was to be done shortly after the installation. Lewis Plumbing sent someone out last minute (I forgot to call them ahead when the carpenters were coming) to disconnect the unit, and will came back and hook it up again free of charge. Their service is outstanding.  Second was a problem with the main water pipe to the house leaking after some modifications were made to the house that caused it to leak. They came out the same day, fixed it, and were gone before I even knew they were here. These guys are fantastic. I highly recommend them.

Reviews in Armona to Install Water Softener

DPatriot Plumbing
I wanted them to come to install an 8” loop out of the wall for the water softener. I didn’t tell them to install the water softening unit, I only wanted them to install the loop. I was very clear about installing only the loop. I asked them to come back into the house once they created the loop and then I would decide if I wanted them to install the water softening unit. I went out to check on them and they had already installed it. I told them I did not want that, and he said “well we already did it”. They quoted me the price to install the loop which would be $220 for the parts for just the loop. To have the water softener installed would be an additional $74. From the work order invoice #11614: “Install waterline loop for water softener and install water softener. Water softener could not be installed due to bypass valve was broken and leaked water. Estimate to install softener and waterline $274.” $274 turned into $612.32. $330 for labor and $282.32 for parts and $110 included in price for them to come to my house.  I have all of this in writing.

I use them monthly. They don't tell me when they're coming. I think they're using sodium salts. I pay for potassium. I think sodium is much cheaper than potassium. I'm going to order a test from the county so I can test the water to see how much lime and other things are in the water. I'll also have it tested to see whether it is being treated with sodium or potassium.

Carlos Mendoza was the representative who inspected our water softener and drinking water system. He was very informative and honest. Its hard to find people you trust. Our system is not Culligan brand and he still came out and let us know how our system was working. I was impressed with his honesty and would highly recommend him for all water needs. Sincerely, Tammy Ashlin
