Recent Review: They had a hard time due to the nature of the house. It is a 1980's home with a plenum that they had to crawl through. They used a flex line, which they had a hard time to get to seal.

Recent Review: I recently purchased a home in Red Bluff. I love the house, but the only heating and cooling system that the home came with was a wall A/C unit in the front room and a wall furnace in the hallway. After several sleepless nights in my new bedroom, I quickly realized that the living room A/C unit wasn?t going to cut it. Like a smart consumer, I got several quotes from different businesses and it didn?t take long for me to become disheartened. My adorable new home has no ducting and no room in the attic for a unit to be installed, two factors that lead to frustratingly high quotes. After basically resigning myself to summer nights spent sleeping in the living room, I had a chance encounter that lead me to Gallagher?s and I couldn?t be happier. I came into the meeting interested in the mini-split system due to its easy install and maintenance, plus its relatively cheaper price tag and much cheaper operating cost. Even knowing what I was interested in, John took the time to explain all of my options so I could be secure in my decision. The turning point in the meeting was certainly when we were exploring the merits of having one or two heads installed. John, knowing that cost was a major concern for me, actually advocated for me to get one head to work in conjuncture with my current system since I would have the option to add a second head later when funds allowed. I couldn?t have felt less pressured. John clearly took my priorities seriously and it was a refreshing experience. Inevitably, I opted to have two heads installed and it was the best decision I could have made. My house is always an even, comfortable temperature and the system is virtually silent, even when set to ?high?. My electrical/gas bill has consistently been below $60 a month and that?s without having to sacrifice comfort on those especially hot days. I can?t express the peace of mind that comes with not having to feel guilty about running my system. From beginning to end, the Gallagher?s team was professional, courteous, and reliable. I was pleasantly surprised by the experience, thoroughly impressed, and would absolutely recommend Gallagher?s for any heating, air conditioning or even basic plumbing and electrical needs. They handle it all and they handle it well!

Recent Review: Purchased a new gas unit for our home.  The owners were very helpful, and knowledgeable.  Their technician was available by phone for many of our phone calls requiring information.  He obtained the permit for installation, and installed the heater.  He had to drill a hole through the side of the house to "vent" the heater.  He was very professional, prompt, and answered all my questions.  He even "walked" me through the operation of the unit.  Was very impressed with his work ethic, and knowledge.

Recent Review: It was a difficult install. We have a large hot-tub style tub in our home which required a very large and heavy hot water heater. We got a great deal from Sears on the price and quality of the 12-year warranty 80-gallon hot water heater. The installation was around $250, which is really a great price. Advanced Plumbing and Electric is the contractor that does the installs for Sears (as well as Lowes, Home Depot, and I believe most of the stores in the Redding/Shasta/Trinity/Tehama areas). We ordered a drip pan to go under the hot water heater. The problem was that the water heater was so heavy that it could not be picked up and placed into the closet in my garage. So it was a very difficult install. We all brainstormed and tried to figure out a way to get this behemoth into the water closet. It only had a couple inches clearance on each side. To make a long story short, they went above and beyond to get this water heater installed. They had a custom drip pan made at a metal fabricating shop so they could get the water heater in there without poking a hole in it. The thin one that I had purchased would have just gotten a hole poked in it trying to get that huge water heater in there. And they did not even charge me extra for the pan! I don't know if Sears covered the cost of the custom pan or what? All I know is that they did not charge me for it. Their was some extra charges for the water lines and gas lines I had replaced, but I expected that. To put it in a nutshell, Jeff at Advanced Plumbing and Electric by far exceeded my expectations. In my opinion, they are the rock stars of the plumbing business!

Recent Review: Michael of FreshHVAC came highly recommended. Very professional, he and his crew showed up when he said they would and finished the installation of a complete heating and air system for my house in the promised three days (including clean-up which left the house looking cleaner than when they started). He was always pleasant to work with and was very accommodating to the requests that I made. His bid was realistic and detailed (the description above was cut and pasted from the bid). Overall I felt that their work was competently done. This was confirmed by an independent Duct Inspector who found the system to be properly installed and operating at it's maximum rated efficiency. My only disappointment was that we both overlooked the inclusion of vents in the bathrooms.

Andy shows up as scheduled.  He evaluates the problem and provided me with an estimate to complete the repair.  A couple of times he had to leave to go get the necessary part.  Once done, everything is cleaned up and working better than ever.  He is very friendly, knowledgeable, and affordable!   Lately he has been a little hard to reach as he has been traveling out of the country to install water systems in impoverished communities in Africa and Haiti.
