Recent Review: The sales representative, Chris Golden, gave us a lot of time to examine the samples and answer questions.  He provided detailed information about the products and installation process.  All scheduling commitments were kept and the work completed in a single day.  They took care of moving all of the furniture too.  The flooring, carpeting, and matching molding are just beautiful!!! 08/03/2013:  We just had Chris back out to estimate the kitchen floor replacement.  I am actually looking forward to having them out again.

Tile by Brian Fiore
Recent Review: Brian came out and looked over the project. He made a few practical suggestions as to what I should consider when choosing tile. He gave me a start date and said the job would take five days. Every day he showed up at the time promised and the work was completed on time. I'm thrilled with how it looks! I like supporting local businesses and I would definitely call on Brian again if I were to have another tile job.

Recent Review: Remodeling a master bathroom myself, and near the end I wanted some help, decided to have a contractor do all the tile.  Several neighbors said these guys were great, and online reviews too.  I was not disappointed.  They worked with me on what I could do myself (prep work), picked up the tile, did all the work and cleaned up well.  The quality is just top notch, with perfect alignment, straight grout and real attention to the details.  They really handled imperfections in the walls/floor. If you are doing a real master bath or "showpiece" area of tile, use these guys.  If you are just doing simple spare-bathroom quick and cheap work (like on a rental), you can find others who will do an passable job for less money.

Recent Review: He also gave great suggestions such as how to move cabinet doors that were on the front of the cabinet that was being cut out for the range to make a cabinet with a space for a microwave. He did some extras to make it nice. Reasonably priced and does things within his quote. Very helpful, professional, on time, honest and dependable. I will have Phil do any more work I need done. Wouldn't think of hiring anyone else. I am very pleased with his work. This was the 2nd job he did for me.

Recent Review: Our first contact with Pusch Ridge was with Frank LaPerre at the Tucson Home Show. Frank was very knowledgable and spent a large amount of time with us in defining just what we wanted to do as well as providing great advice on selecting the granite for the kitchen. Frank is a great people-person. Because Pusch Ridge is a General Contractor, they were able to do the electrical, plumbing, tiling and drywall repair, etc. My understanding was the plumber and the electrician were Pusch ridge employees. Their work was good. They did sub out the floor tiling to a company they trusted and I was very pleased with the skill and speed in the installation of the tile. The drywall repair was subbed as well and the individuals who did the repairs were excellant. The Project Manager, Tony, always stayed in touch with us and kept us appraised as to the comings and goings of his various crews. At least up until we questioned the finished edge of the granite. The granite we had selected had a resin finish from the quarry. After the edges were cut and shaped to the desired finish, the true color of the granite was exposed. This was an obvious lighter color than the granite top. Initially I was told to not worry, the edge would darken on it's own. After researching and questioning this, Frank stepped in and assurred us he would fix this to our satisfaction. Unfortunately, it took several months for them to finally stain/dye the edges. The color is not a match but it is better than it was. Overall, I was happy with most the work they did. I cannot recommend the granite installer because of the problems we had with our slab. Maybe it was just our poor luck to pick a granite with a finish on it but I feel, with the declared level of experience the granite installer had, this problem should have been resolved before the granite was ever delivered to the house. I think they were hoping to install the granite as is and not have the customer question the edges. I made the mistake of making final payment on the project immediately. So I think there was little incentive to put this problem high on their list. But I do have to give kudos to Frank for pushing to get this problen resolved. Overall, a mixed review. They did a lot of good stuff but I can't help my opinion being tainted by the granite issue.

We had used Ronnies on two previous occasions and were very happy with the work and the price. The third time did not go so good. We got a bid from Ronnie's for $350.00 to install flooring. The actual bill we got was for $500.00. This is a 40% increase over the bid. Ronnie's told me this was because there were many more cuts needed to install the floor. The size of the rooms did not change between when the bid was given and when the job was done. I do not understand why they did not take that into when they did the bid They also sent someone out that normally does not do flooring. The worker told me that he usually does taping and drywall work and does not do many floors. If the job was so complicated why send someone that usually does not install floors.
