Recent Review: Everything that Sonoran Vista (Jim) was in charge of was excellent. I had ordered cabinets separately from Sonoran Vista that complicated some of the work. Jim worked around the barriers with the cabinets (and the other company) and actually corrected 2 issues with the cabinets which he didn't need to do. Jim was very responsive and professional throughout the process. He wanted to make sure that I was pleased with the different aspects of the job. He answered all questions and provided additional support and information as needed. Jim was a pleasure to work with and made sure that I was satisfied at each step of the process. I have already recommended Sonoran Vista to others and would use them again if needed in the future.

Recent Review: PROS                                                                                     Worked with me to downsize job to get within my budget. They itemized the budget for both the kitchen and the bath so I could basically line item edit what I wanted them to do and not do. Started on time.                                                               Owner pitched in to help. Excellent tile work.                                                          Fixed unexpected problems in bath at a fair cost. Kitchen designer worked with me on picking matching backsplash tiles and met with me at two different tile stores.                                                                                            CONS Ended 3 days after they said. Owner had to pitch in to help due to poor scheduling and other delays. Designers did not accurately determine a whole wall in my kitchen had to be furred out adding nearly 600 dollars in unexpected additional cost to the bill. Designers did not accurately determine tile needs resulting in 3 extra boxes of 20"x20" floor tile, and enough shower accent tile to accent another shower all additional costs to me.     No one person oversees the entire job, leaving days of nothing happening when things could be done. Poor communications with me on timeline of events.  If I didn't call and ask, I wouldn't find out until it happened, or at the last minute. Costs of tile not as much as estimated, I was never credited for that. Quartz countertop guys didn't seem to get the measurements correct resulting in a slot cut out of my kitchen wall running down one side and the entire back of the counter so it would fit. Would I use them again? With what I know now, I would ask many more and different questions and obtain more than three companies to provide estimates. Of the three, one didn't even return my calls, one provided a very large estimate and didn't itemize all the tasks like Brett's did. I think the designers should have taken a bit more time looking at what I had and what I needed to have done to more accurately determine overall costs.  I don't remember anyone telling me that the wall bump out they needed to do unexpectantly would cost me almost 600 additional dollars.  A soffit that was supposed to go in didn't again due to the designers not realizing what existed in my old kitchen. Overall, they did the job they said they would and completed it close to what they said. It could've been much worse.   UPDATE In response to Brett's K&B's Response to my review: I find the response from Brett's K&B to be a "bit strong" in several areas and completely inaccurate in others. The framing of my shower that Brett's claims to have taken the three extra days they ran over really only took about 6 hours and yes there was a price increase which I mentioned in my original review, that I stated was a fair adjustment. The 4 extra LED light Brett's claims I didn't pay for, I have 6 on my signed contract as paid for. There was no extra vent line installed in the attic, a 6 to 7 dollar "T" was installed so that I may add a vent from my other bathroom at a later time.  The tile cost was billed to me at it is stated on my contract at a cost per square foot more than it actually cost for both the floor tile and backsplash tile. The timeframe I was told for the entire job was four weeks,  I was never told four to six. I find the response from Brett's to my review to be quite surprising that instead of trying to improve their business practices for better customer service, they denigrate my review and fabricate reductions in costs that I did not benefit from. I stand by my original review as an honest and accurate statement of my experience in using Brett's for my home remodel so that the next person can benefit from my experience. I think that the response from Brett's says far more about the integrity of the company than anything negative I may have said. In rereading my review, I do not see anything that was a "bit strong", but fairly and accurately stated.   I have changed "Would I use Brett's again"  from a yes to a NO.

We were planning on getting estimates from three companies for remodeling our kitchen. I selected Interior Innovations as one of the companies based on it being on Angie's List. I went to their location on Ruthrauff and met Angelica and explained what we were looking for and I gave her a copy of an engineering drawing of the kitchen detailing all dimensions. I also told her I could send pictures of the kitchen which she said would be helpful in giving a preliminary estimate. I asked that she email me back once she had the pics to ensure that the were good enough to assist in estimating costs, which said she would do. After sending the email of the pics I didn't hear from her so I called and left a message. I had to call twice more before I got a reply saying she had the pics and she said she would get back to me in a few days. Three months have gone by and we have heard nothing! The other two companies have replied within two weeks so I have not tried Interior Innovations again. I will never call them again and I am letting everyone I know that they are a very poor company to deal with. How they got on Angie's List is beyond me. They are very unprofessional and if used I doubt that they would be responsive if anything went wrong!!

AGallery Kitchen & Bath
This remodel has been a dream come true from the first consultation with Michael, to each review of the 3D models and subsequent changes, keeping my budget in mind although I exceeded that a bit as we got moving forward, but after receiving other bids for the work and talking with other contractors, I elected to go with Brett's. Not one ounce of regret here!   Derek arrived somewhat unexpectedly on Monday morning to start demo, due to a slight miscommunication, but it all worked out perfectly and, he endured my questions all week with great patience. He vacuumed up each day's debris before leaving as well, which I appreciated a lot. When it came time to measure for the countertops, Derek suggested a different edge (chiseled) for the kitchen island that, after going back to the store to look at again, I elected to go with and it looks beautiful. Derek looked at the existing location and the interference with the refrigerator, we discussed how the new island would be shifted and when he was finished placing the new cabinets there is no longer any interference with the island and refrigerator and there is about six inches additional depth to the kitchen. The new cabinets replacing the old drywall side of the island are also amazing. And part of this included a kitchen sink through an Angie's List coupon; this sink is much larger than I expected and looks great. I can't wait to use it. In the master bathroom, I elected to remove and replace the existing cabinets and marble counter top with emphasis on replacing the unused empty space between the cabinets with drawers. Michael worked his magic with this concept as well. After we had selected the cabinets and he ordered everything, we went to look at countertops again and door pulls. While we were talking, we double checked the color for the bathroom cabinets and discovered that the wrong ones had been ordered. Initially I thought great what else is going to be wrong HOWEVER, I gave it a bit of thought and decided that the cabinets he ordered, which match the kitchen cabinets, would work nicely in the bathroom since I was only replacing this part and not redoing the shower and tub. I am so glad I decided to go with these, they look amazing! We worked together to pick out the top from remnants and with his great eye found the perfect piece. When I called just to check on the status of the counter tops, expecting to be told they would be complete sometime the next week, Brett made my day when he called back and said "How's 8:15 tomorrow morning?" Ecstatic only partially describes my excitement. Tigren arrived at 8:00 and began checking measurements, etc. He and his crew were finished up in less than an hour and a half. With Michael's help, the quartz we selected for the master bath looks amazing! He has a great eye.   The work is almost complete, just reconnecting the plumbing, some minor adjustments and installing the backsplash. I expect that this will finish up without issue, and I can start planning my next phase that will probably include the help of Brett's Kitchen and Bath. The reviews here are true, this is a Class A operation.

AKITCHEN CONCEPTS
Chad Jr. at Kitchen Concepts did a terrific job of helping us design our new kitchen, making many excellent suggestions based on his knowledge and experience. His attention to detail was amazing and it shows. We are happy that we used the kitchen contractor he recommended (BMR), who also did some additional work in our laundry room area. The 2 companies are small and work well together and when problems arose, they took care of it without any finger-pointing. The materials and workmanship are first class and we couldn't be happier. The price wasn't cheap (add the cost of appliances), but the quality is well worth it. I would highly recommend this company to anyone considering a kitchen remodel.

ANCF Contractors Inc
From the beginning I felt very comfortable with the owner of the company. He was very thorough in asking me what types of changes I wanted to see done and was able to work with my budget. He was realistic in making recommendations in order to cut costs yet still provided excellent quality work. Company was very punctual and kept me updated on the status of the job. When the job was complete, I was very impressed with the workmanship and attention to detail.
