Everything went well with the installation? Baker's Mobile Aire (BMA) crew were onetime and very professional. Installation time was fantastic, and the work performed was excellent. The crew cleaned up and removed all of their own materials. Now for the bad? well, not really bad, just a hiccup, but not from the service or system ? After a few days, I started having communication errors within my system. This was between the IComfort thermostat and the unit. They were not talking to each other, and the system would not come on. I called BMA and they were back that same day and worked on the system. Manny (supervisor) pulled all the wiring and reattached and the system was back up and running. This went on one more time, and BMA responded to the service call right away? they elected to replace the computer board in the system? This worked for a few more days, and the communication errors returned and the system shut down again. Now, I was in contact with Todd (president of BMA) and he got heavily involved? When I called, he said he was already monitoring my system (yes, monitoring - with the advanced IComfort thermostat), and he saw that the system had shut down, and was having communication errors again. He was already in contact with Lennox Corporate, and they thought the problem may be coming from interference within the home wiring bundle and causing the communication errors. Todd looked at availability of all his technicians, and they were all out on jobs, so, he (yes the president) came out to work the problem. After Todd got out here, he talked to me about what Lennox and him thought was the problem? Within the wiring that runs from the unit, condenser, and the thermostat, there are extra wires that are not used, so they are just peeled back and wrapped around the bundle (causing the interference). So, at each area, he pulled all of the wiring, and reattached, and then the extra wiring was grounded with a wire nut in all three areas. Because of the technology of this system, the communication between the entire system is very important. We discovered that some home wiring whether older or newer may be the culprit of these advanced systems? Since the last visit, I have not had one issue, and I am very happy with service of all at Bakers Mobile Aire.
