Recent Review: The salesman Ralph was very helpful in that he had been an installer and could evaluate what we knew would be a difficult job involving fitting the hardwood around an existing iron railing and allowing for a concrete pillar as well as finishing a stair landing and five transitions to three different surfaces. Ralph came to the job site that same day to measure for the carpet and bamboo. He arranged for Jesus Vaquez to install the hardwood. Jesus accomplished wonders with the installation of the bamboo. He managed to bury the offending screws holding the railing beneath the bamboo. He did an especially neat job of the bull nose along the landing and on the top riser of the staircase. Bamboo is really hard to cut, wears out saw blades quickly. Jesus dealt with the entire job most competently. I don't know if he works for the company or is an independent contractor but he is worth tracking down for hardwood flloor installation. One transition piece was not in stock and had to be ordered. When it arrived, Ralph came out on a Saturday to install it.
